Chapter 44
*Amrin Pov*
"This is such a heavy work." I heard the comment and glanced to my side to see Nipuna holding a few plates.
"I can totally see that." I mumbled placing the dishes on the table controlling my laughs.
"Don't you dare laugh at me, Amrin. For the past one week, I have been trying to do all this work." she said glaring at me.
"But still it is being done like the first day. How many days should I continue to teach you?" we heard Aunty asking while walking near to us.
"We are not Mridula." Nipuna said, shrugging as per our plan, and she stilled in her place.
"And that is why I am helping you both." she said and walked away without stopping for a second.
"It is getting so difficult to act like everything is being difficult." I said, sighing and this time Nipuna grinned at me.
"I need not necessarily to act like all this is difficult. Now, as we are trying to take her name every day, and I am sure Mridula will not be kept away from us forever." Nipuna said assuring me.
We finished the work and were about to move near to the couch area joining Aunty as there was still more time for everyone to return home, but stopped seeing Tajwar entering the house and walking directly near to Aunty.
"I need Mridula's parents' address, Mom." He suddenly said, and I sighed in relief thinking he at least got the proper mind now.
"After a week? I don't think I want to give the address." Aunty said making all of us frown.
"I need it Mom." He said stubbornly.
"Why should I give it to you?" she asked and Nipuna gestured at me to get closer to them by moving near to another corner, making me realize we are standing at one without giving it proper thought.
"She is my wife and I need to know." He replied to her question.
"The same wife, whom you didn't want? You should be happy that you got your wish fulfilled." Aunty said, and I frowned thinking what is she even doing.
"I don't want any separation from her, Mom. I love her and want to know where she is right now so that I can go and get her." He said fuming at her while I slapped my forehead.
"He knows how to confess it to everyone without hesitation except to the main person." I mumbled, and Nipuna gave me a confused look.
"Do you want to see her, even after she hurt you?" she suddenly said after a few minutes, making both Nipuna and I frown while Tajwar stilled in his place.
Without saying a word he turned around and walked away while Aunty sighed. I glanced at Nipuna and started thinking how to solve this.
"Why don't we ask for her address?" Nipuna suggested, and I nodded before we both walked near to her.
"Now, what do you both want? Did something fall on the floor again, Nipuna?" she asked staring at us.
"We want to ask you something, Aunty." Nipuna replied and glanced at me.
"Last week, you said you were sending Mridula away, because their marriage is not wanted by both, right?" I asked, and she nodded frowning.
"What we both wish for is, as now the marriage is not unwant..." before Nipuna could finish her words, we heard a two loud shouts and turned to see Uncle, Dileep and Aahil standing near the main door.
Dileep and Aahil rushed near to us in the next second with a glare on their faces and turned towards their Mom.
"I need to have a word with her." They both said at a time, and Dileep held my hand while Aahil held Nipuna's hand before dragging us to the stairs and made us climb them and didn't stop until we reached our respective rooms.
After entering our room, Dileep locked the door and turned around to watch me making me frown.
"What happened? Nipuna and I were about to do, a serious discussion with Aunty, and you dragged me here." I asked, frowning while he just glared at me for a second before sighing.
"I love you, Amrin." He said opening his eyes.
"Ok!" I mumbled hesitatingly not understanding what is going on.
"I know exactly what i said that day was a big mistake made by me, and I wish I can take back the words. I was just angry at that woman and took it over you. I am really sorry." He said, pleading me and turned around showing him my back so that he can't see the tears.
"Please don't cry, Amrin. Scold me or even beat me, but don't cry." he whispered hugging me from behind.
"I really got scared and hurt, Dileep. I thought what if everyday will be the same whenever something happens like that. If not for the way Nipuna suggested, I would have asked for the post date for our wedding." I said honestly and he immediately turned me around.
"I am not saying that we will never have problems, or I will never say some other stupid things in the future, but always know that I love you with my everything." He said looking straight into my eyes.
"I love you!" I said, hugging him tightly which he returned with even more grip.
"Don't ever think of leaving me." He said making me frown.
"I would never leave you. Why did you get that thought?" I asked, frowning to myself.
"Nipuna and you are about to talk for that matter, itself, right. To be sent away like Mridula." He replied moving back.
"What? No! We were about to ask for Mridula's address for Tajwar." I explained and he suddenly laughed hugging me again.
"You scared me, Amrin. You must have taken away ten years of my life span with this fear." He said, and I shook my head.
"Let's go downstairs. Everyone must be waiting for us to start dinner." I said, moving back while he gave me an evil glint.
"After dinner, why don't we have our first night." he mumbled brushing his lips to mine.
"No!" I said, moving my head away.
"How about yes? Say yes!" he whispered pestering the kisses over my throat.
"We will see!" I said, pushing him away and rushed outside laughing hearing his groan.
*Aahil Pov*
"Maybe they are taking up the offer your mom presented regarding separating from unwanted marriages." Dad commented to both Dileep and I when we were standing near the door listening to their words.
When Nipuna started talking about that after Amrin, we both shouted their names before rushing near to them.
After holding Nipuna's hand, I excused both of us from Mom and dragged her until we reached our room before locking it which she took her hand away from my hold.
"What the hell! Don't you dare to drag me like that again. Otherwise, I will push you next time." she shouted in a whisper before moving towards Aahna cradle after placing her baby monitor on the nearest table to the door.
"I am really sorry, Nipuna." I said, holding the monitor near my face, and she turned towards the one near Aahna and then turned towards me.
"For what? What you said is quite true right? I have become fat and then they both are just not like me to be irresponsible. I mean I slept with you in the first meeting completely drunk. I can totally imagine what you think of me." She said shaking her head.
"And like Shilpa said, maybe we both are standing in the same room for the baby no matter what we think for ourselves." She added before sitting on the bed.
"Are you mad? When did I even say you are fat, and even if you are, so what? As far as I remember we made love many times, and if I had any thought about the personality, then we wouldn't have, right." I said holding her face.
"And if being drunk is what made you feel some attraction towards me, then I am more than glad that all of it happened. I didn't mean those words in that way, even though I can understand how they seem to be." I added, and she frowned at me.
"What did you mean to say?" she asked raising her eyebrow.
"What I meant to say was they were not like you to bear the alcohol, and you saw how much headache they both had. To top of that I didn't know Mom already know about it, and I got scared thinking, she may scold you making you feel sad, but who thought that I am the one who took that duty." I replied sighing.
"And you were saying we may be here for the baby? Do you know how I had walked like a mad man holding my phone near to me everyday after our first meeting waiting for your phone call and scolded myself numerous times thinking I should have taken your number too?" I asked, and her eyes widened.
"Ok! Now, tell me why did you drag me?" she asked frowning.
"You were about to ask mom to send you away and how can I keep quiet?" I asked back.
"Aahil, Aahil! Do you really think I will leave you alone and give you a chance to be with someone else? There is no chance for that, and you are stuck with me forever and we both were asking your mom about Mridula's address, and that's all." She replied smirking.
"I love you!" I said, smiling at her.
"Good to know! Now, let's go downstairs for dinner." she said, getting up and started to move towards the door.
"Say it back, Nipuna." I said, holding her hand.
She turned back and suddenly crashed her lips to mine before moving back smiling. I glared at her and pulled her back before kissing her again.
"Do you need the words?" she asked, raising her eyebrow.
"No!" I said, shaking my head and hugged her.
*Tajwar Pov*
"Dad! You were wrong by the way." I heard Dileep saying, but didn't glance up from the plate thinking how to make Mom tell me the address.
"I already know that." Dad said, and I shook my head not wanting to listen to anything.
"Then why did you lie, saying they may be asking to be sent away like Mridula?" Aahil asked him.
"If I didn't say that, then would you both come out of stupid category and not be silent?" he asked and I frowned at them.
"Dad! I need your sister's address." I asked, staring straight at him making the table still with silence.
"I don't know!" he said, shaking his head.
"What?" I asked him, frowning, not believing his words.
"Yes! No one knows the address except your Mom and that driver who is staying with my sister's family itself for a few more days." He replied, and I glanced at Mom.
"Mom! I really need the address." I said, staring at her, hoping she will give me that.
"Pass me the curry, Amrin." She asked, not even giving me a glance.
I fumed at her and got up pushing the chair away, making it fall down before walking away to reach my room.
With all the anger, I am feeling, I started throwing whatever things that came to my hand and shouted in frustration.
I shouldn't have let her leave at all! I thought holding my head and sat on the chair. I will reach near you soon, Mridula. And that is my promise.
"Tajwar!" I heard the whisper the next morning when I started climbing down the stairs and glanced to my right to see both Amrin and Nipuna standing near the table.
"What?" I barked at them.
"I am telling you, Amrin. He doesn't deserve to know her address and let's go near her by ourselves." Nipuna said glaring at me while Amrin sighed.
"You have her address? But, how? Did Mom tell you?" I continued to ask them until Amrin covered her ears.
"No! We didn't even ask your Mom. Anyway, Amrin opened an account for Mridula to put the money Mridula got with the exhibition." Nipuna started explaining.
"Her dad's bodyguard who is like her uncle is best at finding someone. So, she gave him the bank details yesterday night, and he found out the address as the account got used by her just yesterday." Amrin finished before forwarding the paper to me.
"Thanks for everything you both had done for this, but Mom will be the one who tells me the address." I said tearing the paper and looked around for her.
"Are you mad? Why did you do this?" Nipuna shouted.
"Aunty is in the garden." Amrin said, nodding at me, and I nodded back before walking towards the garden and confront Mom.
"Why are you not telling me her address, Mom?" I asked reaching near to her.
"Why do you want to meet her? Didn't she hurt you?" she asked back.
"It is between us, Mom. We will solve it by ourselves." I replied, frowning at her.
"Did Lavanya apologized to you?" she suddenly asked and turned around patting the place beside her.
Still feeling the shock even after a few minutes hearing Mom asking such question, I sat beside her like she gestured.
"Tell me, Tajwar. Did Lavanya apologize to you for hiding about that criminal?" she asked again and I slowly nodded.
"Many times!" I mumbled, not understanding why she is asking such questions.
"Is that the first hardship in your relation other than my rejecting her?" she asked another question.
"Why are you even asking about her, Mom? She died, and I am asking about Mridula's address." I said frowning at her.
"Do you know any relation will get into another beautiful form after the passing of each hardship? Now, I can understand that it seemed to be the first one. What would you have done if you both had walked out alive and safely?" she asked frowning at me.
"Would you have been normal with her or would have been a little angry for deceiving you?" she added and I closed my eyes before rubbing my forehead.
"I would have been very angry and not just a little. I already felt hurt knowing she hid all that from me and would have shown anger later." I replied honestly.
"Even after she already apologized to you?" she asked, raising her eyebrow, and I nodded my head.
"Do you know I talked to her parents at that time and even after? They were sad for her, but not that shocked because they know something like this would happen. They warned her when she told them about you after which she decided to leave you to keep you safe, but then she got to know about our family. I wish she was alive and was with you, Tajwar. Because she is not a bad girl and really loved you, but we can't change anything." she said looking at me, and I tried to sink in everything.
"Mom! I made peace with her death and moved on. So, I really need Mridula's address to tell her that." I said after a few minutes.
"Why would I let you go to the person who has hurt you, Tajwar? You are better without her, and I am sure she didn't apologize too." She said shaking her head.
"No, Mom! I am not better off without her. I really need it." I said, raising my voice.
"No! She told me that she didn't even apologise for the deceiving thing. She betrayed you, Tajwar. You can find someone else. Let her go." she said and moved to stand up, seeing which I held her hands and pressed them to my forehead together.
"Mom! I don't care what she did to me, and I don't care for any apology. I will forget everything and I just need to see her." I said, closing my eyes, feeling the tears falling down which she immediately brushed away.
"Do you know why you would let go of everything for her, but would have not for Lavanya?" she asked and I shook my head feeling tired.
"Because Lavanya and you loved each other, but it would have taken time to reach the stage at which Mridula and you are at present. Your relation with Mridula started with a hardship and passed many that you don't care about the present one and just wish for her." she added, and I looked up to stare at her.
"Yes! I don't care about all this." I said, frowning at her.
"Ok!" she said, getting up and walked away while I sat stunned, thinking she still didn't give me the address.
