Chapter 22

*Mridula Pov*

For the past two days, I think we are fine. We are not sharing any words, but still we are fine. He is joining everyone for dinner and leaving for office not at five o'clock.

So, we are really fine! I thought, nodding to myself and turned to see Dileep sitting on the bench in silence. I reached near to him after washing my hands finishing the work with watering the plants.

"Did something happen?" I asked hearing, which he glanced up but again looked down.

"No!" he replied, shaking his head.

"You are staying here for the past two days and not saying a word to any of us." I stated to which he sighed.

"I am just angry." He said making me frown because I don't remember something happening, which would make him angry.

"You can tell me." I offered but he shook his head, and I slowly walked away not knowing what else to say.

In the evening, I glanced at the door to see that Tajwar didn't return home, and I started taking care of the dinner arrangements before calling everyone.

Dileep, Nipuna and Aahil reached the area, but not Aunty and Uncle. I walked inside the kitchen to bring out the food and stopped near the door hearing my name while returning from the kitchen.

"Why can't you leave your brother alone? He is not a kid." Nipuna retorted.

"That's right! Mridula in the evening and now you. You both need to back off." Dileep said, shaking his head and Nipuna gave a victory look.

"That's because we care for you, which cannot be known to an outsider." Aahil stated making me frown, but I walked near to the table before placing the food and then glanced at Aahil.

What does he mean by outsider? She is his wife and not a stranger right? I thought frowning thinking how he is always saying mean things for Nipuna.

Maybe all the husbands are like this but Tajwar never talked with this meanness with me, and even if he did, he immediately apologized in his own way of words.

Aahil glanced at me and questioned me with his eyes, but I just looked away knowing well that I am staring at him lost in the thought of Tajwar.

"You are late." I mumbled, standing up from the chair when I saw Tajwar walking towards the stairs after everyone left and must be even sleeping.

"You are here?" he asked with a shock tone and walked near to the table.

"Yeah! Shall I bring food to the room?" I asked placing the food on a plate for both of us.

"We can eat here. What need is there to bring all this to the room?" he asked before sitting down, and I nodded to his suggestion.

We both started having our food in complete silence and then returned to our room together. He walked away to freshen up while I started arranging the bed.

"Are you still angry with me?" I heard the question and turned around to see him standing behind me with folded arms.

"I am not angry at all." I replied frowning to which he shook his head.

"That's not how it was for the past few days." he stated and I immediately held his hand.

"We are fine." I said in an assuring tone, and he gave a small smile before holding my hand back.

"I am glad that you understood." He said, and I smiled back even though I didn't get his words completely thinking regarding what I am understanding.

"There was an important meeting and that just prolonged for so long because of which I returned home late." He added in an explaining manner.

"Ok! I thought you would go back to the schedule like it was when we got married." I said directly not wanting to hide that fear.

"I assure you that, it will never happen again. And I am already used to waking up late and having food with everyone watching a new drama every day." He said, and I hit his shoulder.

"What? Don't tell me that there was no drama today?" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"There was one!" I admitted to which he gave me a victory look, and I thought what is with these victory looks this day.

"It is getting late. Let's go to sleep." He said and walked near to the bed after staring at me for a few minutes.

"Already?" I asked, daring myself and he immediately grinned before pulling me towards him, and I laughed not believing what I just uttered.

"It is ok!" he replied when I immediately felt a little shy for even thinking like that and kissed me making me forget all the awkwardness.

"How was the checkup?" I asked Nipuna at afternoon still in shock with how she talked today morning regarding her dad coming here to take her to hospital and then uncle ordering Aahil to take her.

After she replied, I served her some food immediately when she asked for it feeling hungry, and I mumbled regarding calling Aahil for having his food too.

She was shocked to learn that, and I remember him walking inside the house with a pissed-off expression. Maybe they both fought again. She surprised me saying she will take the food by herself and walked away holding the tray ignoring my protests.

I frowned at Dileep who is still having a grumpy look and is still staying at the house not going to his flat. I wish to ask him again regarding what happened, but remembering how angry he is getting I backed off.

"What happened to Dileep?" Tajwar asked when we entered the room after the dinner.

"Why didn't you ask him by yourself?" I asked back not liking how he is still staying away from them.

"I... I am feeling uncomfortable." he replied honestly making me frown at him.

"They are your family, Tajwar. They really love you." I said holding his hand, but he just shook his head.

"I don't know why I am hesitating, but I really tried to say something to them. However, no words are coming outside except harsh ones. It is still a surprise regarding my normal behavior with you though." He said, and I felt happy even though sad for the distance he had with his family.

"There is still so much time, but try again sometime." I said and explained that I too don't know about the reason for his behavior.

"Where is Dileep?" Aunty asked the next day, and I told her that he left early even before Tajwar to somewhere.

"I thought of speaking to him about the girls I selected. Why did he have to go now?" she talked to herself.

"He is not in a good mood, Aunty. Do you think it is the right time for all this?" I asked frowning.

"That girl left him as far as I know and I don't want to miss this chance before someone else comes into his life. This is going more than far we thought." she replied before walking away, and I shook my head.

I smiled when I saw Tajwar entering the house, and he smiled back before climbing the stairs to freshen up and return to the dinner.

"Is he really smiling?" I heard a voice and glanced to my side to see uncle standing with a shocked expression.

"Yeah!" I replied awkwardly as I am not at all comfortable with him from the time I was a kid feeling, he is not happy with my stay here.

"I cannot thank you enough for doing everything for my son." He said smiling at me hearing which I felt surprised.

"He is her husband, Abhivanth. I always know that Mridula is the best girl for Tajwar or anyone else. No one can be like her, and she got that from her mother." We heard Aunty's voice and uncle immediately stilled in his place.

"Will you never leave that?" he asked, frowning at her.

"I have done a lot because of you, Abhivanth. Bear it for as long as you can." she replied, and he walked away.

"I just don't want him to spoil your mind with something else." she explained.

"He was not doing anything like that." I said, shaking my head not understanding what problems they have.

"Did you listen to what I just talked about the person I once loved so much? I wish all this had not happened." she mumbled in a sad tone and walked away.

"What happened?" Tajwar asked when I lay on the bed in silence.

"Your mom needs you." I replied and glanced at him to see his face giving away a hard expression.

"She really does." I added, and he shook his head in a warning way.

"She deceived you, Mridula. You shouldn't be talking like this." He said before turning away and drifted off into sleep.

"Don't talk about her near me again." He said when he was leaving the room for work the very next day to which I nodded handing over the carriage.

"I will return early." He added answering my unasked question making me smile.

"I just thought you may stay back feeling anger." I mumbled, feeling guilty for thinking like that.

"You just never let me have the anger over you for a long time, Mridula." he mumbled back, kissing me and left the room while I felt like I am drowning into some feeling even though I already know what it is.

"You are still there? But I was told you are not." I heard Aunty's voice and glanced at her from the dry-cleaning bills to see that she is talking on a phone.

"I cannot believe he is still entertaining you. It will be good for you if you remove your clutches over him and leave." she warned, and I frowned at her.

"She hung up on me! How dare her?" she asked to herself glancing at the phone, and I remember once Dileep doing the same.

"What is the special reason to call him, Aunty? Did you find a girl for him?" I asked, hoping she would come out of the anger she is feeling now.

"Don't you know that in a few days it is Tajwar's birthday?" she asked frowning at me.

"He didn't let us celebrate, but maybe we can do it this time." she added before I could reply.

"I don't think he will, Aunty." I said honestly not wanting to get her hurt later in a worse way.

"Fine! We will celebrate it next year." she said confidently and I frowned, thinking how she is sure that he will be fine the next year.

"And he is being normal with you right? Why don't you celebrate with him alone?" she asked making me look at her with wide eyes.

"What?" I asked her frowning, not believing her words.

"You are his happiness, Mridula. I want him to be happy for his birthday." She replied, holding my hand while smiling at me, and I nodded smiling back.

"Why are you so busy these days?" Tajwar asked after a few days, and I immediately searched for answers.

For the past few days, I am planning a surprise for him, and Aunty is helping me with it. I smiled at him before replying that I am having some household work before looking away.

"Ok!" he said, before drifting off into sleep.

"What happened, Aunty?" I asked when I checked all the dinner arrangements, and she is frowning continuously from morning the next day.

"Nothing!" she replied and frowned when she saw Dileep entering the house.

I shrugged, not thinking much about it when I will think about his birthday tomorrow. I just really hope he likes everything and has a good day.

Everyone observed change in Aunty, and Dileep opened his mouth asking "Mom! Is something wrong?"

When she started talking while asking him whether he makes fun of her before Amrin and then explaining regarding how Amrin is laughing at her, we all watched the exchange of words.

What was more surprising is the fact that Dileep just brushed off all her accusations and saying if Aunty said anything to her, for which Amrin laughed, then he would have already got to know.

I glanced at Tajwar to see that he has been lost in his thoughts but started having his food like everyone else. While Aunty sat stunned for a few more minutes before leaving the area when she finished.

Then Uncle started asking him to stay home to discuss regarding the business matters, and Dileep accepted before everyone walked away finishing their food, and I stayed back to take care of the clearing.

"Aunty?" I called for her after finishing the cleaning of the kitchen by the maids when I saw her sitting in the living room.

"I know that she was not a normal girl." she mumbled to herself and then glanced at me.

"What are you still doing here? Go and surprise him." She instructed and I reluctantly left her.

"Where were you?" he asked the moment I stepped inside the room.

"Aunty was sitting alone in the living area, so I thought of talking to her, but she sent me away." I replied feeling sad not knowing what to even think.

"Well, she should stop interfering at least now." he mumbled, shaking his head, making me frown at him, but glanced at the clock to see that it is going to be twelve soon.

I walked inside the washroom taking the saree I bought with the help of Aunty in his favorite color and is grand, in other words, it is costly.

When I walked back, I saw that he is looking for some file. I slowly took the small cake box from the cupboard when he didn't see me and walked near to the bed.

"Happy birthday to you." I whispered, hearing which he glanced up.

"What is it?" he asked, staring at the cake.

"It is your birthday and I thought of celebrating it for you." I replied, smiling before placing the cake before him.

"I stopped celebrating." he mumbled shaking his hand, and I frowned but immediately moved near to him.

"For my sake!" I mumbled pleading him, after which he nodded before cutting it lightly.

"So, is this the next surprise? My favorite color Saree?" he asked when I moved the cake away after having a bite of it along with him.

"Yeah!" I replied smiling sitting beside him, and he pulled me towards him holding my waist while I placed my arms on his shoulders slowly.

"I liked the surprise." He whispered before caressing my waist with his hands and kissed me.

"I know it is small, but I just didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable." I mumbled staring at his face.

"I didn't celebrate my birthday for the past two years. But how do you know it is my birthday? I never told you." he asked smiling.

"Aunty told me and even helped me in selecting this Saree." I said smiling at him feeling happy that he liked the surprise, and he stilled in his place making me remember he is getting mad easily whenever I talk about her.

"Please! Don't be mad, Tajwar. It is your birthday." I immediately said pleading him.

"Ok! I need to sleep as I have an important meeting tomorrow." He said moving his hands away from me.

"But... but I thought we would spend the day tomorrow together." I mumbled hiding about the date I planned even though it is a simple one.

"Why would we? I need to even go early to prepare for the meeting." He mumbled laying on the bed before drifting off into sleep.

I sat on the bed feeling the hurt while thinking for how much time will this continue? For how much time should I think before saying anything?

I always thought we should talk what we think, but I don't think it will help my married life in any way. I need in order to change it and think clearly before uttering a word. That will help both of us.

"What are you doing in the house? You both should be at the place we chose right?" Aunty asked when I started taking care of the breakfast.

"He has some important meeting." I replied lying to her, but it was his lie as he left earlier without taking his files.

"Did he like the cake?" she asked smiling after frowning at my reply.

"Yes! He liked the surprise." I replied and her smile just widened before she walked away.

When I started talking to Aunty regarding the work was to be done for the outhouse cleaning, we saw Dileep hurrying outside.

"Dileep!" Aunty shouted but he just rushed making both of us frown along with Nipuna.

After an hour when he didn't return, Aunty started calling him, but he is not lifting the call. I tried to assure her he must be fine, but her worry is tangible around us.

Finally, the land phone of his flat on which she started calling is lifted and as per her way of talking, I can imagine it to be Amrin. She scolded Dileep for a few minutes and hung up.

"I just want all of them to be safe." she mumbled sitting on the chair, and I held her hand tightly seeing that her blood pressure has risen.

"He is fine now." I mumbled assuring her and glanced at the moment to see Tajwar walking inside the house and that too in the evening before many hours.

"Maybe he needs something." she mumbled glancing at me, but I shook my head.

"You need to rest." I said making her slowly stand up after making her drink some water and took her to her room.

"What happened?" Uncle asked entering the room.

"Maybe the blood pressure has risen." she replied when I started searching for the machine to check it.

"Did Dileep returned? He just left after saying he will not go out of station for business and even checked something on his phone." He said sitting beside Aunty and continued to babble slowly holding her hand.

"She is fine." I mumbled, and he nodded but continued to talk.

"Have some food." I said bringing the dinner to her room before the timing against her protests.

"He returned, Aunty." I mumbled when I saw Dileep walking inside the house while taking the food for her.

"Don't tell him about this or anyone else." she said, shaking her head pleading me, and I slowly nodded.

I walked outside to see Nipuna trying to arrange the plates when she got to know that Aunty is not feeling well but not the reason.

"It's ok! I will do it." I said before arranging everything and saw Dileep and Aahil walking inside together from the garden while Tajwar climbed down the stairs.

After serving them, I had a little food and walked away to check up on her as Uncle is also having food with us, and I told them that Aunty was sleeping.

"How are you feeling now?" I asked, holding her hand.

"I shouldn't have scared you like that." she replied smiling a little, and I shook my head not wanting her to think like that.

I left for my room when she assured me that she is fine and even finished the work. I saw Tajwar pacing the room, but I just walked to the cupboard to freshen up before sleeping.

"I shouldn't have reacted like that." He said the moment I stepped outside the washroom.

"You didn't do anything." I said not wanting to have any word with him right now with all that happened.

"I really shouldn't have but just so you know I felt really happy with the surprise." He said, holding my hand to which I smiled back a little without saying anything before walking towards the bed and drifted off into sleep saying I am tired from morning.

---------------------------------------------

ok guys!!! i know u love tajwar's pov but so much happened without him in the picture like in before series. So, her pov is needed... this last series is not just the one of Tajwar and Mridula's... it has premila's and also the feelings of few people which was not shown that much in before series...

for ex: Dileep was not that much sulking when Amrin left in his view but he actually was...

So, they all will be there and it may feel to be stretching but as u can see each incident has something to do with other one as much as possible...

for ex: if dileep didnt rushed fearing that amrin left with the bank message of money being withdrawn, then premila wouldnt have got the blood pressure risen and Tajwar wouldnt have been so restless to make sure everything is fine without missing Mridula as she was with Premila for most of the time even when he returned too early...

I know i am explaining too much but just want to explain... this may not be perfect but i am really working hard writing the time schedule to make sure no mistake is happening while sinking the three series in many incidents... and if there are any confusions ask away...

how is the chap guys???

comment plz and vote...
