*Dileep Pov*

"You should go and stay in your home." Her words made me look up from my work with the feeling of shock.

"Why?" I asked her frowning and placed the system aside when she sat beside me on the bed.

"It's been two weeks since you returned but didn't go there for a stay. They must be missing you." She replied, holding my hand.

"So, I should stay there for this weekend?" I questioned, and she nodded smiling.

"Did my Mom called again?" I asked, staring at her face.

"I don't know! I am little busy so kind of staying most of the time at the work when you are not here." She replied lying down.

I can see that as I have entered the house numerous times at lunchtime and even evenings before the office timings but the flat stayed empty. However, she is not leaving the work in this house and even cooking without a miss.

"Ok! I will leave now itself." I said getting up.

"Now?" She asked little surprised and held my hand.

"Are you angry?" She added when I turned around to stare at her.

"No! You are right about my visit to my parents." I replied and within an hour, I am sitting at my parent's home dining table with everyone around me.

"Didn't you like the food?" Mom asked, and everyone turned to look at me.

"It is great!" I replied with clenched jaw and put a bite inside.

"Did you lose any deal today?" Dad asked and as usual everyone was waiting for my response.

"Is a deal the most important thing in the world?" I asked him back in a hard tone.

"It was for you, but now it is not I guess." Aahil Bhai commented.

"Did she do anything?" Mom asked expectantly.

"Leave her alone, Mom. I do not know why are you behind her calling there to put her down every time, but you should stop doing it." I replied before getting up and climbed the stairs to reach my room.

"Come in!" I said when I heard a knock on the door after a few minutes.

"I always told you not to get your anger on the food." Mridula commented before placing a tray before me.

"I am not angry." I said, shaking my head.

"What made you mad?" She asked, ignoring my words.

"I don't know! And that is the main problem because I really don't know what is making me mad." I replied honestly.

"You didn't do a good thing by shouting at Aunty." She pointed out.

"I know! I will apologize tomorrow." I said sighing.

"You will be fine." She assured me before leaving the room.

"Do you know about the place she is going everyday?" Aahil Bhai asked when I stepped outside my room.

"I know! How do you know about that?" I asked him frowning.

"When you were out of the station, I kept an eye on her to see that she doesn't leave the city right? So. I kind of know about that." He explained.

"She told me everything the day I returned." I said, and we both started walking downstairs.

"Is there any chance for your anger is towards that?" He asked, and I didn't reply at all.

"Do not doubt her about that because I saw her work when she was selling them in a restaurant. She seems to be good at what she is doing." He added, making me shake my head.

"I never doubted her. She is anything but a liar." I said, smiling at him.

"Anyway, tomorrow is our parent's anniversary. Mridula and I thought about throwing a party for them. We need your help too, and no one else's." He said and glanced at Nipuna, who is talking with Mridula.

"Sure!" I said, nodding and then walked towards the Dad's office room after knowing that Mom is there with him.

"You should stop interfering in his life. You are taking her name before saying anything and even after. You were not like this with his before relations, then why now." I heard Dad's voice before I even reached the door.

"Can't you see the difference this time?" Mom's question made me frown.

"What is it?" Dad asked her back.

"He never gave much importance to her more than any of us, but because of this girl, he is not staying in this house for a long time. And the time passed in this relation is nearly double than any one of his past ones. This is not just a passing relation which will end at one point. And that is not good because she is different for our family in many ways, which includes religion too." Mom's assessment reached my ears, and I immediately walked away not wanting to hear anything else.

"I need to go out." I said to Mridula when we nearly finished the preparations for tomorrow's party.

"Ok!" she said nodded, and I walked away.

When I entered the flat, I saw that it is as expected empty making me sigh. I sat on the couch and waited for her again thinking about my Mom's words.

"This is a surprise. I didn't know you will be here so soon, but it is a good thing that you are here because I have a surprise for you." Her voice reached me, and I turned to see her rushing near me with a big grin.

"What is the surprise?" I asked her, by the time she reached and without replying she crashed her lips to mine.

"In a few days, I have a big exhibition to do." She replied staring at my face.

"How big?" I asked her grinning.

"Pretty big!" She replied, still lying in my hold.

"That is soon." I said, but felt happy for her.

"I know! I really got scared and thought of asking your opinion. But now sharing it with you made me think that I should go for it." She said snuggling on my chest.

"You should!" I said kissing her head.

"So, what made you return so soon?" She asked lifting her head and supported it on my chest with her palm.

"Tomorrow is my parent's anniversary and there is a party in the evening. Will you come there with the driver as I need to be there?" I asked, thinking about the reason I am here at the same time.

"Of course! You could have only just called me, Dileep. You need not to come here and waste your time to tell me about it." She said in a normal tone, but a frown formed on my face.

"So, what shall we do to celebrate this?" I asked her, ignoring her words and my thoughts.

"We will celebrate after the exhibition." She replied, and I nodded before kissing her pulling her more to me.

"You seem to be happy." Aahil Bhai commented when I returned home before dinner to see the list of food is being made.

"Atleast someone is." Nipuna commented, rolling her eyes helping Mridula.

"Did I ask you?" Aahil Bhai asked, shaking his head and Mridula sat in silence with her thoughts running miles.

I sat beside her and pushed her shoulder with which she came back and glanced at me. I told her what happened, lifting my eyebrows to which she shrugged and got involved with the work.

"Did you tell her about the party?" Mridula asked.

"Yeah! She will be here tomorrow." I replied, nodding at her.

"Did you talk to Mom?" Aahil asked, and I shook my head again remembering her words from the morning.

"I will go and do it now." I replied getting up.

"You should because tomorrow is their day, and she should be happy." Nipuna commented and I shared a glance, with Aahil Bhai stopping ourselves from rolling our eyes at the comment while Mridula just glanced down.

"You are right!" I said before walking towards the office room as they are still there to discuss the work.

"Mom!" I said entering the room and saw them both looking up at me.

"I am sorry about yesterday." I said and she just frowned at me.

"It is ok!" she said, but I can see that she wants to say more, and I escaped from there before that can happen.

I don't know why she said all those things, and I do not know why am I even feeling irritated for the smallest things. For the first time in my life, I am literally confused without any big reason or maybe there is.

With a thought of my head exploding with all the thinking, I chose to get involved myself with the work for tomorrow's party.
