*Mridula Pov*

The decision is so bad! I thought after two days when I miss the ease we once formed disappeared between us, and we are just being to ourselves not exchanging a single word appropriately.

"Why are we not talking to each other properly?" I asked directly not being able to bear the silence anymore and also the awkwardness.

"Let's talk!" he said and glanced up from his plate.

"I... thanks for coming home early." I mumbled, trying to stare at his face without looking away.

"I always follow a schedule. When I start doing something one day, I do it from that day onwards continuously unless there is a need to change it again." he explained making me frown.

"Why are you talking stiffly?" I asked, shaking my head not getting any reason behind it.

"Why are you looking away whenever you say something?" he asked back and I wish I didn't question him in the first place.

"I don't know! I feel the decision we took is a wrong one." I replied honestly.

"It is not wrong when you are not attracted to me." He stated shaking his head and resumed having his food.

"What? When did I tell you that?" I asked him in shock because I feel the attraction.

"That is the reason you rejected the next step, right?" he asked back, to which I shook my head in negative.

"Then what is it?" he asked, frowning and I glanced down.

"I just thought it was inappropriate to have any physical relation with no feelings. I don't know how Dileep does that, but he too know it is wrong." I explained.

"Where did Dileep come from in this matter?" he asked and I immediately face palmed myself in my head.

"You know Dileep has many relations right, and he doesn't like most of the girls. He says it is wrong, but he feels an attraction, so he goes with it. Then what we will be doing is also wrong right?" I asked, and I saw for a fraction of second his lips twitching.

"I am not going to have any relations outside, and you too will not have them. In this, we both are the only ones involved, and I am sure the marital status will convert all the wrong things to right." he said, getting up after finishing his food while I gathered the dishes repeating his words in my head.

"And as per your question, I don't know how to act. I behave how I feel, and I am not able to let go of the way we can have a relation even after hearing your no. However, I don't know why you are feeling the awkwardness." he added when I walked near to the door making me still in my stance.

I stood there for a few minutes before stepping outside and walked downstairs lost in the thoughts of his words.

"Mridula! You are lost in your own world for the past few days. And Dileep didn't return home even after nearly a week. What is happening in this house?" Aunty asked, but all I did was nod before walking inside the kitchen.

What happened to me? Why am I behaving like this? I am getting lost in his suggestion whenever it is possible, even after I rejected it.

What he is asking is not a bad thing. He is just my husband, and this is not some evil thing to do when others are having those many relations even before marriages.

"I know why I am not able to take a step forward." I mumbled to myself before stepping outside the kitchen to see Aunty pacing in the dining area.

"Aunty! Can I ask you something thinking of you in my Mom's place?" I asked her before standing near her making her stop the pacing.

"What is it, Mridula? Are you fine?" She asked, placing her hand on my forehead and then held my hand.

"Is it ok... I mean it is correct to have the physical relation even without love?" I asked, and she frowned before her eyes became normal from confusion with understanding my question.

"That is not a new thing to happen, Mridula. Yes! Having love in it is a special thing, but it is not a must thing. And just loving someone along with getting it back will also not give us full happiness. Everything doesn't happen as per our wish and all we can do is try." She continued to talk while I grasped each word like always but felt like she is talking about someone else's life.

"Now, the question you asked is happening in many places or shall I say in the majority of lives. However, it should be your wish, and you want it with your heart." She added before stepping back.

"Thank you!" I mumbled nodding before moving to climb the stairs, but her words stopped me.

"I said all these really standing at your mother's place and not as his mother." She said and walked away while I stood for a few seconds before climbing the stairs.

"I need to tell you something." I mumbled when I stepped inside the room and saw him reading a file sitting near the coffee table.

"What is it?" he asked, not looking up.

"I am scared that you will regret or even worse hate me more when we start this relation, and also it will be my first time." I replied, closing my eyes, feeling embarrassed and waited for his words but didn't hear them except for some moment and then felt his presence before me.

He didn't say anything but held my face before pressing his lips to mine, and I moved my lips along with him. Within a few minutes, we nearly reached the bed, but he moved away.

"All this time you are saying you feel that I will have regrets, but I am now feeling that you will have them. Sleep it off and we will see tomorrow, and I should take care of one matter too." he said before gesturing me to lie down after which he followed my suit.

We both drifted off into sleep with me thinking about the kiss repeatedly before thinking about tomorrow.

*Tajwar Pov*

I entered the home thinking about yesterday's events and then thought what decision did she come up after I asked her to sleep it off and then decide.

Today morning she behaved with normalcy so was not in a position to find out what she was thinking. If she says no, then so be it. It is not like it is our life's aim, but I should think about moving out of the room to come out of this confusing attraction.

I glanced at the dining area to see it empty, and they must have already had their dinner as I got a little late because of the stop I had to take in the middle of the travel.

"Busy? Did you forget that your dad is still the CEO who gets the letter stating what meeting happened in this week?" I heard Mom shouting and glanced at the couch area to see her standing talking to someone on the phone while Mridula stood beside her.

"Is this about that new girl then it is bad on your part to forget about your family." Mom said after a minute, and I immediately know she is talking to Dileep.

"He hung up! Can you believe it?" She asked, taking away the phone from her ear and stared at it in shock.

"I am sure he is busy, Aunty." Mridula said, and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, right! This is all that girl's fault. He never stayed away from home like this before for so long." Mom continued to talk, and I moved near to them.

"Mridula, give me a small head massage. I feel like my head will burst with pain." Mom said, and I glanced at Mridula frowning who is already frowning.

"Now, Aunty?" she asked reluctantly, and I think I kind of got her decision.

"Yes!" Mom said before sitting down and Mrdiula's face fell, but she did as Mom asked her to.

"Did you have your food?" Mom asked her, to which she replied in positive making me frown.

I shook my head and climbed the stairs during which they both saw me, but stayed silent, and I too ignored them before reaching my room and stepped inside to see the food already present for one person.

After freshening up, I had my food and saw that she still didn't return. I paced along the room a little before walking outside the room.

"Mridula! I am having a severe headache, and I need a head massage." I shouted with the words dripping with anger and within a few minutes, she is standing before me.

"Where is Mom?" I asked, folding my hands.

"She left for her room." She replied, frowning and then glanced at the empty plates.

"Why did you have your dinner already?" I asked, to which she sighed.

"I got hungry! So, I had my food with Aunty seeing her sad because Dileep didn't visit the home during this whole week." She explained, and I still couldn't understand her how she forgave Mom and others so easily.

"Is there any work for you to do?" I asked moving back inside the room, and she followed me.

"No! I just have to take the dishes back." She replied, taking them and I stood there itself until she returned, but with a balm in her hands.

"I don't have any headache." I said before moving towards the door and closed it.

"Then why did you shout?" She asked, but didn't turn around even when I stood behind her.

"Leave that! If I kiss you right now, what will you do?" I asked with my breath on her neck.

"Kiss you back?" she answered in a question mode.

"Then do it!" I said before turning her around and kissed her.

"How do you know my decision?" she asked when we moved near to the bed.

"What were you thinking when Mom asked you to do a head massage?" I asked before tugging her hair, making her look up and saw blush appearing all over her face.

"Nothing!" She replied trying to move away, but I encircled her waist making it impossible for her to move away.

"I really never thought you as a liar." I mumbled before making her lay on the bed and moved to lay beside her but didn't let her move away from me.

"Do you think I am sure today? And what is the matter you had to take care of which you said yesterday?" She asked making me remember the main thing which I forgot, which kissing her.

"I don't think you are in the mood for kids now." I said in a serious tone.

"Kids? I love them, but I don't think it is a right time." She said not getting my tone change.

"Right! So, I got late today for going another way than the regular one to do some shopping." I explained, and she nodded before moving to press her lips to mine.

"This is what my heart wants." She whispered after I tugged her Saree and moved to undress making me pause for a second.

"Don't make it involve too much." I whispered biting her neck and all she did was moving her head a little giving me more space.

"Just remember that I am the one who is here." She mumbled, staring into my eyes, and I nodded before letting the attraction play between us forgetting everything else except the feel making sure not to scare her away on her first time itself.

"Good night!" I whispered before moving a little away and drifted off into sleep while she already let the sleep consume her a few seconds before.
