Girl Meets Father; Part 1 of 2
Also, PSA! Cleo's room with Cory and Topanga's apartment is just like her old room with her aunt! That will further be explained/talked about a little bit later! Also, I submitted the story for the Watty's tho I won't win anything😭😂🥳
Also, there are a lot of different heights for Riele on the web so.... cause I wanna make her taller than Maya by a bit, she's now 5'1💀 I didn't have time to edit either so this a mess💀
OOTC:
Farkle admired Cleo's room and the things around it. He even took the time to sit on the chair that was hanging from two hooks newly put in the walls. The lights now tapped to her walls slightly reminded him of the stars he saw in his room.
He gazed at he skillful paintings and drawings, lingering on the sketches of clothes. He caught sight of a what seemed like fabric in a nearby bin and found the most colorful thing in her room besides her clothes; which wasn't a bad thing to him.
A sewing machine sat in the corner of her room near the fabrics, along with 2 mannequins, one that already had a beautiful dress on it. On the wall behind it, a sketch on it with Cleo's signature it. Farkle's eyes widened in amazement as he found a stack of outfits and dress sketches next to the mannequins and stared in awe.
He looked around for the closet but his eyes instead found Cleo, a small smile on her face and her pajamas she changed out of while Farkle waited. A blush made its way onto his cheeks and put the stack of papers down. He rubbed the back of his neck and tried to form a sentence as Cleo finished getting ready.
Yet, before he could speak, he took the time to look at Cleo, REALLY look at her. The outfit she wore made her seem slightly older, which she already seemed because of how mature he believed she was. She was about to put on a tiny bit of make-up, but even her young face set her apart. He had taken notice to the tired and hurt look in her eyes from time to time and started to connect dots in his head.
"You're older than us, aren't you?"
Cleo dropped her eyeliner and quickly marched over to Farkle. Thought she was shorter than him, she looked fiercely up at him and grabbed a his shirt to pull him down to her height. "Only a year. How do you know i'm older."
"I connected the dots."
"There were no dots i left for you to connect!"
"You still never told me how you even ended up living with the Matthew's or why you were sad that day. I wouldn't have to figure out things if you would just tell me. You can trust me, Cleo."
Cleo looked sadly at a hopeless Farkle and let go of his shirt. She sighed and straightened up his clothes before giving him a tight hug. Farkle was confused, but hugged her back just as tight.
"I promise, i'll tell you everything. Just give me a little time. Just know if you tell anyone what you know or what I tell you, I will hurt you."
Farkle laughed and pulled back from the hug. "You don't look like you could hurt me." He instantly regretted the words when he was pulled back down to Cleo's height.
"Just because that little bit of makeup is off, doesn't mean this baby face doesn't have the same bite."
She let go and finished putting on her small batch of make-up and gathered the rest of her things. Farkle looked back at the dress on the mannequin before asking a final question.
"That dress HAS to be for the dance, but how long have you been making clothes?"
Before Cleo could answer, 4 knocks were made on her door by Riley while Maya pokes her head in.
"Last pair to school has to do the other pairs homework."
Cleo and Farkle's eyes widened before Farkle quickly pulled Cleo to the window. "Tell me later! Let's go, let's go!"
Cleo was about to go first out the window until Farkle yanked her back with a blush on his faces when he remembered what she had on and the consequences of letting her go first out the window.
"I'll go first."

Cleo made Farkle run all the way to school after they made it off the subway at the same time as Riley and Maya. Once they won, Maya instantly told Riley she'd be the one doing the others homework and she'd "look over" it.
There was a couple of minutes to chill before history started so Cleo sat on the bench by the lockers, reading 'To Kill a Mockingbird' for the 3rd time. She love the storyline and lesson reading it and learned something new every time.
Though she paid them no mind, she still heard the sort of embarrassing moment with Riley losing the battle between her and the eye lash curler.
Well, she paid no mind until Maya snatched the book from her and started reading it.... Upside down.
Cleo got up and went over towards Riley and Maya with her arms crossed, her foot tapping, her hand out, and a small smile stretched onto her mouth.
"This book says nothing to teach me how to kill a mockingbird. Take back this monstrosity."
"Oh big word. Did I teach you that?"
Maya playfully glared at her and before she could say anything back, Farkle came up.
"Ladies!"
"Farkle."
"School dance. I'm gonna put you both down for Dance Numbers one through all of them. We will alternate. You and me, me and you. When you're not dancing with me, you may not dance with anyone else. So you may sit and wait until you dance with me again."
Cleo eyebrows scrunched up as she thought about what he said. "Wait, so you just want a dance with-." Cleo groaned when Farkle covered her mouth and continued to look at Riley and Maya.
"Yea, none of this is happening."
"Well, may I have a dance with each of you?" Riley answered yes for both her and Maya. Farkle removed his hand from Cleo's mouth and she noticed he was looking at her too, waiting for her to answer the question.
"Of course, Farkle."
"Ha! That's all I wanted. You just got played by Farkle."
"I knew what you were doing," she paused as she watched Farkle go into class, "never mind." She turned back towards the girls to notice Lucas arrived and Riley.... Struggling while Maya tried to help her.
Cleo held in her laugh when Riley last attempt at hello was her 'grown-up voice.' She turned to go into class as soon as their conversation got to the point Maya started to dance cutely to her. Lucas noticed her leave and caught up to her as she sat in her seat.
"Cleo, I know you're my ex and all, but you could at least say hi."
"Oh honey, I see your face almost everyday. I'll make it up to you by dancing with you at the dance." Cleo winked at him and watched the slight blush creep up on his cheek as he stumbled over his next words.
"O-oh, i'd like that v-very much. I'd love to dance with you."
Cleo mocked him by tipping an imaginary cowboy hat. "Nice doing business with you, Friar." She turned around and noticed Maya looking weirdly at her from her desk. Cleo smiled at her and leaned forward to speak to her.
"No need to be jealous blondie, i'm gonna dance with you too."
Maya couldn't hide her smile and playfully rolled her eyes before turning back towards Mr. Matthews.

Cleo walked the busy streets of New York, this time walking to the library after school. Maya accompanied her and on the way after begging her to come this time. Cleo has been going once a week to see if a letter came and none have came yet and she hasn't let Maya come so she wouldn't have came for nothing.
Until today, when Maya flashed her puppy dog eyes and basically followed her around until she gave in and let her come.
"So what if your tall, handsome stranger turn out to be a short, ugly creep?"
Cleo laughed along with Maya, slinging her arm around her and pulling her closer. "Well, i'll always have you so i won't be upset." Maya looked up at the slightly taller girl before leaning her head on her.
"Always."
They stayed together until they reached the library door, where Cleo dramatically opened the door for Maya and Maya curtsied to Cleo before walking in. Immediately greeted with the sight of books and slight smell of vanilla. Cleo saw candles (away from the books) around the library and smiled at what Lily did.
Cleo suddenly felt herself being dragged to her spot in the library. Maya picked up the books laying on the ground and gave it to Cleo. "Open it, I feel like i'm in a story book right now!"
Before she opened it, she looked at the title of the book before smirking at it. "A Rasin in the Sun" by Lorraine Hansberry, another book she had read on a few occasions. She opened to the first page to finally find a folded note.
"Well now your as slow as a snail. Read the note!"
Cleo rolled her eyes before sitting down with Maya quickly following and moving close to her to see the note.
Dear Cleo,
Philly is much calmer than New York. Not nearly as busy and there's actually room to walk on the sidewalk. Some people say it's how use to be years back. I mean, i've lived here my whole life so it's hard to compare it to a place i've only been a few times.
Maybe you could tell me about Toronto?
I'm gonna be in New York again soon, considering i'll be gone when you read this. I'll tell you my name then, I want to reveal everything then.
As for the book, I have no doubt in mind that you haven't already read it. Nevertheless, it's a classic and I would love to hear your view on it.
I can't wait to meet you, but we're surly connected in ways you'll figure out soon, Cleo.
- J.M
P.S, this time, you leave ME a book.
Maya eyes lingered on the letter for a few seconds before looking at Cleo. She saw how big her smile was and in the little light in her eyes as she kept looking over the letter.
There was a sudden feeling in the pit of her stomach that she couldn't quite put her hands on. She pushed whatever it was away as she laid her head in on Cleo's shoulder.
"Seems like you're gonna get taken away from us by this J.M guy."
Cleo eyes snapped towards Maya in confusion. She tucked the letter in her pocket and placed a kiss on the top of Maya's head. Maya closed her eyes and only opened then when she felt Cleo pulled away. Cleo gripped her hand and look straight into Maya's eyes.
"I don't plan on ever leaving."
Maya let a small smile fall on her lips and stood up. Still holding her hand she dragged Cleo to the front door of the library and walked outside. She looked around New York and then at Cleo, now a smirk on her lips.
"I have no curfew at all, so let's make the most of you being here!"
