Welcome to Cleo's adventures! Basically, these are things that happened to Cleo between actual episodes. These are relatively short unless said otherwise. Please DO NOT skip these, they aren't 'fillers.' Things that happen in these will crossover into actual episodes.

"I'm telling you, Evelyn, you gotta take me up to where you do all the yelling in your building."

Cleo Downs continued to ramble as Evelyn Rand just smiled at the girl. She had taken a liking to the girl after catching her on the subway so much and Cleo recognizing her after getting a good look.

Today, Cleo was on her way to the library and Evelyn was telling her about all the yelling she did at her job. She always got asked to take Cleo up into her building and always declined at first, until she realized how passionate she was about... well, everything.

"Well, on one of these weekends, you find me and I will, Junior."

"Junior?"

"Yes! You remind me of me; Passionate, bold, persistent, and beautiful. I'd be honored to have you in my building."

Cleo sent an appreciative look her, murmuring a quick thank you before pulling out her note to 'J.M' and looking over it one last time. Evelyn playfully rolled her eyes and finally addressed it.

"This is about the 100th time you pulled out this note! What's this about?"

"Well," Cleo paused for dramatic effect, "I guess I can tell you before I have to get off."

"Spill it, Junior."

Cleo told her everything she knew so far about 'J.M' and the note he left in a book in the library. She explained how she decided to take a chance and write back to him and hopefully could at least find out his name soon.

"Junior got herself a mystery man!"

Cleo laughed with the women until the subway came to a stop. She grabbed her things and waved goodbye to Evelyn, hurrying to the library so she could get back home not too late. It was already getting dark and New York was no place to be alone at night for a child.

Once finally making it to the library, which she was surprised even stayed open at this time, she quickly ran in and straight to the front desk. Lily grinned at the sight of her and walked around the desk to give her a hug.

"Hello there dear, I'm guessing you're returning a certain book of mine?"

"Yes, ma'am. Do you mind if I put it near where I usually sit? Just in case, we'll, ya know-."

Lily raised up her hand and nodded her head, saying, "You don't need to explain it to me, go ahead, dear." With that, Cleo smiles and ran back to her spot.

Taking a deep breath, she put the note at the beginning of the book and was almost shut it until another idea popped in her mind. She pulled a pencil out her bag and quickly scribbled in one last thing.

One last thing. Thanks for the new view of the book. Though I still have a quarrel to pick with Shakespeare and his ending, you gave me a new perspective. Suggest another book, I'd like to see how you think.

Closing the book finally and setting it down, she walked back to the front to meet with Lily once again. She leaned on the front desk while Lily was 'busy' reading the book in front of her.

"Spill it, is he cute and is his book taste any good?"

"Oh, he's handsome alright. He only picks out the best books too, just like you."

Lily glanced up at the girl, both with a knowing look on their face. They giggled at each other before Cleo began to walk away.

Lily quickly thought about something and before Cleo got too far, she spoke. "Would you like to see the boy?"

Cleo's head turned back quickly and the word yes almost slipped out before she caught herself. She truly thought about it before slowly shaking her head.

"C'mon Lily, don't spoil the end of this chapter for me yet.

Cleo quietly opened up the door the Matthews' apartment and slowly pushed the door shut. She turned around to notice how dark the room was and could see the obvious silhouettes to two adults.

"You guys are bad at this."

Cory turned on the lamp with a goofy smile. "We know, but we really wanted to do it." Cleo playfully rolled her eyes and began to walk to her room before Topanga gently grabbed the back of her book bag.

"Nope, you don't think we sat in the dark in the living room just to let you go off to your room."

"It was your choice to sit in the dark like creeps and your husband knew where I was, BUT if I tell you WHY I was out you have to let me go."

Topanga looked proud of the girl's spunk and let go of her book bag and nodded vigorously at the offer made by Cleo. She laughed at Topanga's change of attitude and looked at Cory.

"J.M. I was putting the note somewhere he'd find it."

Cory's mind begins ticking again as the girl went off to her room. Topanga sat next to him on the dinner table with gears in her head turning too.

"J.M? You think by any chance it could be who I'm thinking about, Cory?"

"We're gonna find out."

"Woah, woah, woah," Topanga stopped her husband as he got up and picked up the phone, "we're gonna wake him up in the middle of the night for information that would benefit own personal reasoning and self-gain?"

Topanga and Cory shared a look before both laughing and Topanga letting Cory dial a number quickly into the telephone.

The phone rang about three times before a deep and groggy voice answered the phone. "Cory, why?"

"So, J.M, what's happening? Read any interesting books lately?"

The line was silent for a minute before you could hear a soft laugh from the other side of the phone. "You seem to know everyone."

"I do, it's a special gift of mine."

"Well if you don't mind, I would like to tell her who I am on my own terms."

Topanga grabbed the phone from Cory and you could hear the smile on her face. "Oh you are, we just wanted to make sure we were right, which I should've already known."

"Annnnnd, Topanga knows too. Alright, was that all you guys wanted?"

"Yes. You can go back to bed now."

Topanga hung up the phone and high-fived Cory. One mystery seemed to be solved and then Cory brought up another one.

"Let's talk about Cleo and Maya for a second."
