"Jungkook!!"

Minho was feeling a lot lively after taking a bath at river with bunch of other alphas. He was surprised that Jungkook didn't join them for their routine this morning. However, he shrugged off the worry thinking it might be some work Song saem had given him. So he just decided to visit him after their routine. But just as he entered the cold hut, he noticed Jungkook still lying on his pelts.

"Jungkook-ah!", he approached the younger while placing his hands on his hips. He wanted to give the younger and earful for sleeping for that long. But just as he touched him to take the rugs away, he was shocked. Jungkook was burning from fever. He still had his eyes closed, maybe he was still dizzy enough to not know about his surroundings.

Minho immediately covered him with one more rug before running towards Song saem's hut. It was weird that he didn't see any of pupils around. He decided to silently peek inside in case if Song Saem might be meditating. Only dead silence was what met him.

"Eunseok-ah!!", Minho called the boy whom he saw just passing by. Alerted by his call, the boy immediately ran towards the older.

"Where is Song Saem? Did you see him?", he asked and the boy nodded his head furiously. As if he was there to tell him about him in the first place.

"Yes! Song Saem went to see jolyu. He's been there since morning... Now everyone is gathered there. He sent me to call you there..", he took a long breathe after finishing his sentence. He came all the way running to look for them.

"Okay... Eunseok-ah, I need you to do one thing. Go to Jungkook's hut and keep an eye on him. He is a bit sick so make sure he is resting. I will go to Jolyu place and see what is happening...", the boy nodded his head obediently and sprinted towards the outer clearing where Jungkook's cabin was located. Leaving a long sigh, Minho started taking fast steps towards the clearing where Song Saem would go every morning to feed the birds. It was a known routine of his to everyone. After that he would go to the shrine and start his teachings of meditation. If he didn't show up there, it was obvious that everyone must have been worried and went to see if everything was okay.

Only in few minutes, Minho had reached the Jolyu place. As expected he saw a crowd gathering around one person who was facing in other direction. In quick strides, he reached him while making path for him through the worried people.

"Song Saem!"

"Minho!!", the usual calm face of their Saem was twisted with worry and it was a first for everyone. The bowl of grains was still in his hands which was still filled to the brim letting him know that he hadn't fed the birds today.

"Is everything alright Song Saem?", Minho asked worried.

"No... Something is not right Minho... The birds didn't come here today. In fact I don't see even one around. Even deers didn't show up.", he said looking at the grains bowl.

"I don't understand Saem."

"It's a call for some mishap. We need to be alert... I need you all to spread out and some yards of the area for animals and birds. They need to be in this vicinity. If they are not, then that means they have left this place for the time being until the danger fades.", Song Saem said. Everyone was listening calmly.

"Danger? What type of danger?"

"Any kind of natural calamity. It would be tough if we don't detect it earlier. We will need to find shelter.", he said as he bent down. The crowd became quiet as they observed Saem curiously. Saem put the flat of his hand on the ground to feel something.

"The ground is stable neither do I feel any—", before Saem could finish his sentence, a voice cut through the crowd and everyone turned towards the voice.

One of Song Saem's pupil was running towards them with a panicked face. His face had become red from the running and his clothes had become disheveled.

"SAEM!! SAEM!!", he started shouting from a distance while running after he saw Song Saem standing there.

"A.... A WILDFIRE!!!! COMING FROM THE NORTH.... IT'S SPREADING WITH SPEED!!!!"

Multiple gasps erupted over the clearing. Song Saem's face got tense. He didn't knew how to fight this. The forest their little pack was staying in was very wide. They cannot run towards the opposite direction as the fire will eventually gulp the whole forest and they will be exhausted till they even cover a little distance.

Suddenly, a horror engulfed Minho's face.

"Saem!!! Jungkook and Eunseok are still in Jungkook's cabin... And his hut is the first one on the north side!!!"

It took a long time... Honestly speaking, I wasn't finding any motivation to write and thus I was not even replying to many comments you left under my profile. But I really appreciate all of them a lot...
