"Do you really despise being near me that you won't listen?" -Park Jimin
Jimin gulped as he lightly tightened his grip on Eun-Byul's hand, feeling relief but anxiety course through him.
"I guess let's start," Jimin said, making her nod as her cheeks were also tinted a light red. Eun-Byul had felt the obvious, but indescribable feeling that was absolutely clueless to her, but she definitely liked it.
Jimin carefully placed his hand on her hip, making her flinch and snap her head towards him.
"Don't be scared. This is just proper posture." Jimin stammered, making her sigh and gulp.
"Now what?" She snapped, but she regretted it after he made a straight line with his lips. Jimin felt incompetent whenever Eun-Byul would be rude to him, and now that he's definitely in love, it hurt even more.
"Sorry-"
"Place your other hand on my arm." Jimin interrupted, not wanting her to apologize. She looked away and did as told, feeling his arm shaking. She looked at him with concern, but he didn't recognize it.
"When I move my left, go to your right. Same with the other foot." Jimin instructed, making her hum.
"Left." Jimin simply said, stepping left. However, she lost her train of thought and stepped left instead, slightly stepping on Jimin's foot.
"I'm sorry." Eun-Byul sighed as she felt her heel come in contact with his foot, making him smile.
"It's fine. Try again." Jimin reassured, making her nod as she tried not to shake under Jimin's grasp. It was nerve-racking for her to dance because it really wasn't her specialty. In fact, doing anything under the heading of 'royalty', wasn't her thing.
"Right," Jimin instructed, but of course. Eun-Byul stepped the wrong way too.
"Dang it." She muttered under her breath, letting go of Jimin and putting her hands to her sides.
"I apologize-"
"Do you really despise being near me that you won't listen?" Jimin interrupted, a soft gaze pointed at Eun-Byul.
"Jimin, no. It was a misunderstanding-"
"I'm going to get a glass of water. I'll.. be back." Jimin cut off once more, just wanting to get out of the ballroom immediately.
It wasn't either of their faults that they both failed to communicate with each other, it was hard for both of them to even dance because of the fact that their feelings were growing.
And only one of them knew that.
Eun-Byul watched as Jimin walked out the ballroom, closing the big door slightly. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, ready to take a challenge.
Eun-Byul wasn't one to give up quickly; if her task wasn't completed, she won't stop until it is.
"Imagine." She whispered, having the sigh of Jimin appearing in her head. She put her hands up in the right way, trying to steady her unstable posture.
"Left." She remembers Jimin instructing, doing the exact opposite while making sure the music was exactly on rhythm with her steps. Her own mind instructed her just as Jimin was doing.
However, she wasn't alone. In front of her closed eyes were Jimin himself, smiling widely as she danced to the music.
"It seems you've done better while I was gone." Jimin chuckled, making her flutter her eyes open.
"Ah, yes." She stammered, nodding slightly.
"Then, let's practice for real, and forget what happened before. Okay?" Jimin asked, making her smile slightly and nod. They both exchanged glances before getting back into position.
"Ready?" Jimin asked, making her look up at him and smile. Fully.
"Ready." She repeated, ready for the first beat to commence.
"Left," Jimin instructed, her right foot moving with his left as they twisted a different direction.
"Right." He whispered, her left foot now moving with his right. He felt her slowly soften from her stiff state, making him feel relieved she was working hard and learning quickly.
"This will basically be the pattern in a ballroom dance. However, there will be turns and curtsies, and a bit of forwards and backward." Jimin explained, the two still dancing in the same way. The two felt a connection between them as they danced, a compassionate feeling taking over both of them.
"So, when you go forward, I go backward? then vice versa?" Eun-Byul asked and Jimin nodded slightly, exchanging a smile.
"Exactly. However, you will be turning also as you step. If it's too complicated-"
"Let's try it." Eun-Byul interrupted, exchanging a smile back. Jimin chuckled and nodded, getting back into the posture.
"Forwards, right foot," Jimin instructed, making her do the opposite. The two turned a different direction, moving swiftly across the ballroom. Eun-Byul's dress had the perfect critique on her body because it flowed along with her as the two did their dance-patterns.
It was obvious she was Cinderella in a black, shiny gown.
"I heard you really like to dance. Is that true?" Eun-Byul asked as they moved once again in a pattern, barely focusing on her steps anymore as they moved by themselves.
"I do. Ever since I was a little prince." Jimin replied, chuckling as he looked at her.
"Do you do more than just... ballroom dancing?" She asked, making him smirk and look directly at her.
"I do a lot of dancing types. Shall I show you?" He whispered in her ear, teasing her in a low tone. Her cheeks flushed red before she stepped forwards with him, her heel directly landing on his foot.
"Agh!" Jimin stopped and let go of her hands, crouching down to his foot that was now feeling swollen by the tall, black heels.
"You're so, so weird." She whined, making the two both stop and look at each other, before laughing and pointing, oblivious to the fact that they were still slight enemies.
However, the two weren't the only ones smiling.
So were Yoongi and Jungkook.
The two brothers watched through the creak of the doors in happiness, finally happy that their middle brother is changing from the cruel, arrogant heir to the throne to a happier, loving prince.
"Hyung, do you think that Eun-Byul is changing him?" Jungkook whispered to Yoongi, a small smile on his face.
Yoongi looked back at the boy, smiling warmly at Jungkook.
"I know he's changing, Jungkook. His smile is legit radiating." Yoongi replied, looking back to see Eun-Byul and Jimin getting back into the dancing position.
"I'm sure that Eun-Byul will make a great queen. Honestly, I'm glad that Jimin chose her." Jungkook admitted, making Yoongi agree.
"Just seeing by her working hard to prove to everybody what she isn't, it makes her really stand out," Yoongi replied, making Jungkook nod and put up a thumbs up.
They were definitely proud of seeing a commoner learn something in a day, do much more than what a princess had to learn in a week.
It meant to the two that Jimin was also changing Eun-Byul, and it would definitely be something that would last between them.

"So, was it fun finally learning how to dance?" Jimin said to Eun-Byul as they exited the ballroom, his hands fiddling with each other behind his back.
"It was actually pretty fun, I'll admit," Eun-Byul replied, chuckling.
"Then, when you have time, can we dance again?" Jimin asked, making her snicker and nod.
"I'll have a lot of free time, won't I?" She asked, making him sigh and shake his head.
"Not anymore. Now that you've mastered having the style of a princess and queen.. well, it's going to start getting very complicated." Jimin explained, making her snap her head towards him.
"Does that mean..." She trailed off, making him make a thin line with his lips and hum in response.
"Yes, that means you'll be starting what they call the 'Royal Academy'." Jimin answered.
Eun-Byul felt her soul practically disappear from her body.
A Royal Academy?
Eun-Byul had already made herself clear that learning about her elegance was going to be a challenge.
However also, a nightmare.
