It Evens Out
I know. It has been WAY too long, and I apologize. I am truly sorry for such the long wait. I hope you are sticking through with me, and patient. I want to thank you for being so patient with me, and I know that's hard to do. Thanks for reading.

The crisp winter air is welcomed by most, due to the hot, humid air that normally blankets this town. The morning ran smoothly and Dahlia looked a bit better. A little hungover, but better. Lizzie still has a certain glow to her and her hands are still glued to her ever-growing stomach.
"Are you sure you don't want any coffee?" I ask her with a smile.
"I'd rather not have a baby dancing on my bladder due to a caffeine high." She says with a chuckle and I smile walking over to Dahlia. She has already sucked down her giant coffee and hold up the cup to ask if she wants any more. She has her eyes glued to her phone and her thumbs fly across the keyboard. I clear my throat obnoxiously and she looks up with a confused expression.
"What? Oh yeah, please." She says then looks back down at her phone. I pour her coffee and look over at Lizzie and Maria who are beside each other. They are whispering away about something and I carefully place the coffee pot back in its place. I then walk to the back and see
Seunghyun wiping his hands on an apron and has a rag thrown over his shoulder. I walk over to him silently and wrap my arms around his torso. He jumps slightly and the chuckles and wraps his arms over mine. He finishes what he was doing then turns around wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Hello Beautiful." He says and I smile.
"Hi." I say weakly. He then kisses my forehead and returns to what he was doing. I smile and head back out to the front. Alex must've been too tired to come today, and some things seem different without Eli here to brighten the mood. I haven't heard from Luke in a while.
Suddenly Dahlia's voice is heard loudly. She is giggling and Maria stand there poking her shoulder.
"Nobody! Just a friend! So leave me alone!" She says chuckling.
"Mhm, sure okay. Because I believe that load of bull!" Maria states and Dahlia rolls her eyes. I walked out to where they were talking, and noticed Dahlia kept a hand on the phone at all times.
"So Dahlia, how are you feeling?" I asked putting a hand on her back. She shrugs with a solemn expression.
"Eh, he's apparently an asshole in disguise, so I'm better off." She explains and her mouth is slightly turned up.
"God! I am so hungry! You are a fattie!" We are all surprised at Lizzie's sudden outburst and she is pointing an accusing finger at her stomach. I am the first one to start laughing, and then Dahlia and Maria join in. It feels nice for the dark mood to be finally lifted and all of us happy again.
They stayed there for a little while, before leaving to tend to daily duties. I kept working along with Maria and Seunghyun until closing time. We didn't have as many customers as usual, but I blamed it on the crisp weather.
My phone suddenly vibrated in my pocket and I jumped.
"You wanna hang out? I have something to talk to you about.;)" Dahlia's contact name above the messages made me wonder what exactly she wanted to talk about.
"Sure! I'll meet you at yours." I replied and headed towards Seunghyun and rested a hand on his arm.
"Hey babe? I'm gonna go talk with Dahlia, I'll be back soon." I said calmly and he nodded taking his attention off of whatever he was doing.
"Okay, see you later." I quickly pecked his lips and grabbed my coat to walk out. Since night had fallen, the temperature had dropped. I wrapped my coat around me tighter as I walked to my car.
The trip to Dahlia's wasn't very long, but gave me time to brainstorm on what she wanted to talk about.
She met me on the porch and led me inside.
"Want some wine?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, one glass won't hurt." She reached up and pulled a glass from the cabinet, and poured me a small amount.
"So, whatcha wanna talk about?" I asked and she turned.
"You know the entire deal with Eli? Well, I was going to ask you opinion on something." I waved my hand to signal for her to keep going.
"Do you think it's too early to start dating again?" Her question caught me off guard, mainly due to the fact that she does whatever she wants most of the time.
"Not if you think so. It's whatever you want to do." I offered and she nodded.
"Thanks, well I met this cute guy. And he is really cool." She informed and I nodded.
"Ooh, really? Keep going." Before she had the chance to continue, someone knocks on her door. She rushes over to answer it, and I hear a familiar voice. Maria's blonde hair is the first thing I notice and then Lizzie's voice.
I walk out into the hallway, and see them all chatting.
"Girls night!" Dahlia excitedly whispers and we all laugh.
"What kind of food you got?" Lizzie asks as she walks into the kitchen, rubbing her big tummy as she goes. As soon as she gets there, she opens the fridge and grabs a giant thing of pickles out.
"Hey Dahlia?" She questions and Dahlia replies in a hum.
"Do you have any Nutella?" I scrunched my nose up in disgust.
"Um, ew?" I said it more like a question, and she just shakes her head. Dahlia passed out wine to all of us, well except for Lizzie who was still mauling the chocolate covered pickles.
"So, why the sudden meeting?" Maria asked and Dahlia just shrugs.
"I dunno. Figured we could just hang out for a little while. We haven't been able to due to certain events." Her eyes are directed at Lizzie's prominent tummy and Lizzie just chuckles.
"So, you have any names in mind?" I ask her and she nods.
"Yeah, I like the name Beau." We all stare at each other and suddenly burst out laughing. The small inside joke was able to make us laugh too hard, and suddenly Lizzie clutches her stomach. All of our faces become serious and our attention is averted to Lizzie.
"Ooh, okay chill out dude. Don't beat up your momma." Her hand rubbed the bottom of her stomach and we all took a deep breath. I practically heard all of our hearts drop.
"Gosh. Now I have to go pee. Be back." She stood up swiftly, and walked down Dahlia's hallway towards her bathroom. She gets about halfway down when we hear her gasp. Dahlia is the first to stand and rush to her.
The first thing I noticed was the large wet spot on the front of her shorts.
"Oh God. This can't be happening. It's too early." Lizzie just starts to shake and her voice cracks.
"What happened?!" I ask and Dahlia just shakes her head.
"Call an ambulance and Luke." She says worriedly, but Maria is already on it.
"Dahlia! What happened?!" I question louder. Leading Lizzie to the couch, she answers as she walks past.
"Her water broke."
