Jungkook's P.O.V

You slowly opened your eyes as you felt the early sun rays shining in through the windows, you looked over at Taehyung who was sound asleep and smiled lightly

You then careful got out of bed and fixed yourself before sneaking out of his room and heading downstairs to your room to quickly change into your uniform before getting to work.

Once you got back upstairs you headed into the kitchen and ate some leftover cut up fruit as you started preparing breakfast for the royals, the morning shift kitchen staff slowly coming in as well

Kitchenstaff: Oh you're here Jungkook-ah!

You smiled and nodded as you looked up at them

Jungkook: Yeah, I wanted to help out haha

They smiled and nodded before all getting to work as well.

As you all had almost completed preparing the breakfast Taehyung walked inside and hovered around you, he leaned down slightly as he spoke quietly making sure no one else heard

Taehyung: So you were here, I was wondering where you ran off to this morning.

You rolled your eyes as you gently nudged him off while giggling

Jungkook: Oh shush don't make it sound weird like that

He chuckled and you hummed

Jungkook: Go to the dining hall and wait, we're gonna start serving breakfast now

Taehyung nodded and walked off waving at you making you smile, Jin walked over to you as he nudged your shoulder

Jin: Morning

You flinched lightly feeling a spike of pain throughout your shoulder

Jin: Oh my sorry- I didn't mean to do it hard-!

You smiled and shook your head as you rubbed your shoulder

Jungkook: It's okay, I'm just sore all over

Jin tilted his head in concern as he pulled you off to the side

Jin: You should be resting Koo, you definitely took a heavy beating yesterday

You shook your head as you sighed

Jungkook: I'll be fine, it's just certain movements and breathing too deeply that hurts. I'd rather be useful and help around instead of laying around doing nothing.

Jin nodded slowly in defeat

Jin: Well take it easy and just tell me if you need a break

You nodded before noticing they started carrying out the breakfast so you hurried over to help, you walked into the dining hall with some of the kitchen staff and neatly placed out the breakfast on the table for the royal family.

Once you were all done you bowed and were about to leave when the queen stopped you

Queen: Jungkook could you stay for a bit, we'd like to have a word with you

You nodded and stayed behind waiting for the rest of the staff to head back before turning towards them bowing lightly

King: The situation with the guards have been handled so you don't need to worry about them anymore.

The queen reached out and held your hand gently

Queen: How are you feeling? Your body must be quite sore, will you be able to work?

You widened your eyes as you rubbed your arm gently while nodding

Jungkook: O-oh yeah! Uhm I'm fine it just hurts when I do certain motions or breathe deeply

The queen nodded as she looked up at you letting go off of your hand

Queen: Let us know if any of that gets worse and we'll have you get a hospital checkup

You nodded and bowed once again

Jungkook: I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused you your majesty..

Taehyung sipped his drink before humming softly

Taehyung: How about having him be my personal servant until he heals up?
That way he won't have to do any heavy work

You frowned lightly and glanced over at Taehyung before looking back at the king and queen gulping as you saw the kings facial expression change to a more annoyed expression

King: Don't you think you're favoring him too much son?

You shook your head immediately as you looked over at the king

Jungkook: I'll be fine working normally, don't worry I wont be causing any more trouble. I don't want any special treatments just for a small incident like that.

The king smiled and nodded in approval as he sipped his coffee

King: Good. Then you'll be okay serving tomorrow night correct? You see we'll be having important guests over

You nodded immediately

Jungkook: Certainly your majesty, then I'll take my leave now so you can eat in peace

You bowed before exiting the dining hall letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding

Jungkook: Ah talking to them is oddly terrifying..

You rubbed your head as you headed outside to get some fresh air, suddenly Taehyung grabbed your wrist as he turned you so you were facing at him

Taehyung: Why didnt you accept my offer, that way you wouldn't have to work so hard

You sighed and brushed off his hand as you looked up at him in slight frustration

Jungkook: Are you trying to get in trouble? You've already helped me way more than you're suppoused to hyung

Taehyung sighed as he rubbed his temples

Taehyung: If you're worried about my parents opinions then stop because it's my choice and-

You shook your head as you huffed lightly

Jungkook: You really think I can just not worry? How many times do I have to explain to you, you're a royal I'm a servant. Your rebelling wont affect you too much but if I'm involved I can be dragged through hell for it!

He tried to grab your hand but you slapped it away as you lowered your head

Jungkook: Please dont give me special treatment hyung, I'm trying to fucking survive here, so please!

Taehyung: Jungkook come on-

You turned around and walked off feeling your chest clench as you let out a shaky breath, you hurried inside and walked around a corner before leaning against a wall

Jungkook: Was that too harsh..?

You ruffled your hair gently and pouted slightly as you mumbled to yourself

Jungkook: Sorry hyung.. I'm just scared and trying to survive..
