Jungkook's P.O.V

As you and Taehyung were in the car on your way back, he turned to you as he hummed

Taehyung: You and that one kid seemed extra close

You smiled softly and nodded

Jungkook: Yeah, even though I am a orphan myself, I took care of Byul ever since he got there and we bonded through that.

Taehyung: Oh wow.. Well that explains where he got his attitude~

You giggled as you shrugged softly

Jungkook: Right.. We take care of each other like family because we're the only family we've got..

You sighed as you looked out of the window still feeling your heart clench at what Byul said earlier

Jungkook: I just hope Byul gets adopted into a nice and caring family like Yoongi did.. I don't want Byul going through what I did

Taehyung shrugged as he tilted his head

Taehyung: What do you mean, you're out of there now and you're fine. So will he be.

You huffed softly before looking over at him in slight annoyance

Jungkook: You really think it's that easy?

Taehyung nodded in confusion

Taehyung: Yeah? You just get a job and get on with life simple.

You rolled your eyes as you shook your head in frustration

Jungkook: I got kicked out because I am not a minor anymore, and if it weren't for this job I luckily managed to get, I'd be out on the streets now!

Taehyung: Well it's not like there aren't other jobs

You sighed and rubbed your temples

Jungkook: I had one which was hard to find, but I suddenly got fired on the spot without a heads up because of people like you with power using it to only benefit them and their kids!
And finding a job isn't easy, especially when you don't have that good resume with a full scholarship or a graduate from a good college..
Things aren't easy for us who don't have anything but ourselves.

The car finally came to a halt so you shook your head and got out ignoring Taehyung calling out to you even though you might get in trouble for it.

Taehyung's P.O.V

You huffed in surprise and slight annoyance as Jungkook ignored you and got out of the door slamming the door behind him

Taehyung: Did you see that? He just-

Adam sighed as he turned towards you

Adam: I'm sorry your majesty but Jungkook's right.. I've talked to him about the difficulties he's had with finding a job and everything.. it really isn't as easy as one would hope for it to be.

You looked towards where he had stormed off and sighed

Taehyung: How am I supposed to be a king if I don't know stuff like that..

Adam smiled as he chuckled softly

Adam: By being open to listening to everyone no matter what their social status is your majesty.

You nodded slowly before patting his shoulder

Taehyung: Alright.. Thanks Adam

You got out of the car and headed inside to go look for Jungkook, and maybe try talking to him again

Jungkook's P.O.V

You walked inside and were immediately greeted by one of the maids looking stressed

Maid: Hey you're back! Look I'm sorry I know it's your day off but one of the maids got sick and we-

You nodded and smiled

Jungkook: I'll help don't worry, what can I start with?

Maid: The guards down at the basement just got off their shift and asked if we could bring down some beer, theres 5 of them

You nodded

Jungkook: Alright, I'll go put on my uniform and get right to it

She smiled and nodded as she patted your back

Maid: Thanks you're an angel!

After changing into your work uniform you quickly headed over to the kitchen getting 5 glasses of beer ready before heading downstairs to where the guards were resting.

Once you walked in you looked around before heading over to the table they were sitting at and put down the glasses one by one for them

Guard1: Ey look isn't this the newbie servant

He put his hand on your back and you cleared your throat as you ignored it

Guard2: Damn they hired a cute one huh? Wanna stay here and play with us for a bit

Your gut clenched lightly as he reached over unbuttoning 3 buttons on your shirt making your breath hitch

Jungkook: H-Hey- dont do that..!

Guard3: Oh come on we're just playing a bit relax~

You tried to pull away but one of them grabbed your hand and pulled you onto their lap as they held onto your waist

Guard4: Ey not so fast, we told you to stay and play with us for a bit hmm?

You shivered in disgust as you felt his breath fan your neck while you gently tried to keep their hands off of you

Jungkook: N-no I have to get back to work- we're really busy-

Guard5: Dont be a brat yeah? You're just a useless servant don't get all cocky with us

You shook your head as he squeezed your thigh making you flinch and shake your head feeling a bit nauseous at this point

Jungkook: I-I'm not- I just- really have to go so please let go-

You finally broke free and bowed before getting ready to leave, you flinched and gasped lightly as one of them suddenly slapped your ass as you were leaving making you hurry off uncomfortably as they shouted suggestive and mean slurs after you

You hurried off and out into the garden as you panted while shivering in disgust, you yelped and slapped away a hand that suddenly was placed on your shoulder

?: Hey there you are-

You held your shirt together which was unbuttoned almost halfway as you looked up still shivering

Taehyung: Hey what was that for?

You looked away and he reached over to check your shirt but you flinched away as you held it together even more tightly

Jungkook: Dont touch me..

Taehyung huffed as he raised an eyebrow, it was getting dark out but you could see he had a mixed expression of confused and annoyed

Taehyung: Whats with you? You're really throwing a tantrum just because I might've annoyed you?
Grow up.

You looked away as you let out a shaky breath holding back tears

Jungkook: M-Mind your own fucking business and p-please leave me alone for tonight..

You pushed past him and hurried inside to your room closing the door behind you before sliding down it slowly feeling tears threatening to escape

Jungkook: W-what kind of sick b-bullshit joke was that...
