Jungkook's P.O.V

You pulled on a tshirt and grabbed your stuff getting ready to head out for work when one of the noonas at the orphanage came up to you

Noona: Hey Jungkook, I'm sorry but can I have a word with you?

You hummed and sat down nodding as you looked up at her, chest already tightening

Noona: We all love having you here, especially because you've helped us with all the other kids by cooking and doing chores and everything..

You sighed knowing where this was going

Jungkook: You guys have to kick me out of here, am I right?

She sighed as well and nodded slowly

Noona: Since you turned 19 the head office wants you to move.. I'm sorry Jungkook

You stood up and smiled sadly at her as you nodded

Jungkook: It's okay I understand, I'll be okay.
I got my job at the convenience store!

You grabbed your suitcase and opened your closet as you started transferring your clothes and belongings into the suitcase

Noona: I'll give you some space.. everyone wants to say goodbye so come to the common room when you're done

You smiled and nodded as you watched her walk off, you sighed and ruffled your hair taking a deep breath as you put the last belongings in before closing the suitcase.

Jungkook: I-I'll be okay..

You nodded to yourself taking one last look at what's been your room for the past 10 years, remembering all the memories..

You then walked out closing the door behind you as you headed to the common room, once you got there you were immediately tackled by the kids hugging you tightly

Amy: Do you have to go?

Minju: Please dont go!

The other kids nodded as they pouted, you smiled and looked at them

Jungkook: I'll come visit when I can, I promise.
Behave okay?

They all nodded some sniffling softly, you stood up and walked over hugging the orphanage staff

Staff: Take care of yourself okay? I'm sorry..

You shook your head and smiled as you looked at them

Jungkook: I'll be okay! I have my job and I'll come visit I promise!

After saying goodbye to everyone you had to head out to make it to your shift, as you got off the bus and walked into the store you were greeted by the manager and.. a new worker?

You tilted your head as you looked at the new worker playing on his phone looking bored and slightly annoyed before turning towards the manager

Jungkook: Why-

Manager: Sorry I was gonna call you.. the boss wanted his son to get some work experience and well..

The manager patted your shoulder as he sighed

Manager: Sorry, Jungkook but please be understanding.. It's not really up to me, you just happened to be the newest and easiest to get rid off..

You gulped down a lump in your throat as you sighed shaking your head

Jungkook: T-this is ridiculous.. couldn't I at least get a warning?! How am I supposed to-

The manager patted your shoulder once more shaking his head, you huffed and walked out sitting down at the alley nearby as you sniffled softly while rubbing your eyes

Jungkook: W-what kind of shitty luck is this..

You tried to steady your breathing as you felt anxiety flood you

Jungkook: T-this isn't fair.. What am I supposed to do...

You took out your phone and hesitated before dialing your friends number, hes your best friend from the orphanage and he got lucky being adopted into a caring wealthy family

Yoongi:
Hey Koo whats up!

As soon as you heard his voice you let out a shaky breath as you tried not to cry

Jungkook:
H-hey Yoongz.. you busy..?

His voice immediately became more caring as he could tell something was up

Yoongi:
What's wrong? Are you crying-?!

You sobbed softly as you tried to wipe your tears

Jungkook:
I- got.. kicked out o-off the orphanage as expected.. b-but I went to w-work and the boss f-fired me so his s-son could work there instead for e-experience..

Yoongi gasped as he huffed in frustration

Yoongi:
What?! What kind of selfish bullshit boss is that?!

You sighed softly as you ruffled your hair

Jungkook:
Do you guys need a servant or s-something..? I'll do a-anything!

Yoongi sighed

Yoongi:
I'm sorry Koo we just hired one a couple of weeks ago..

You sighed and rubbed your eyes feeling hopeless

Jungkook:
O-oh, not it's okay..!

Yoongi:
Hold on a second

You heard him talking to someone in the background before getting back to you

Yoongi:
Mom just said the royal family wanted a new servant-

You immediately nodded as you held your phone tightly

Jungkook:
I-I'll do it!

Yoongi hesitated slightly

Yoongi:
You sure about this? It's not an easy job.. it's really demanding.. not to mention their son tends to be really arrogant and rude

Jungkook:
Hyung, please I don't mind. Anything is fine, at this rate I'll end up homeless, I only recently got the job I just lost so my savings arent enough for more than one night somewhere

Yoongi sighed before giving in

Yoongi:
Alright, mom will have someone pick you up. Shes close with the queen so se already informed her you'll be coming

You sighed in relief and immediately stood up

Jungkook:
T-thank you so much, and tell your mom thank you as well..

Yoongi:
Hey its okay, I'm sorry I can't help more.

Jungkook:
T-this is more than enough hyung, thank you

And so it begins...
