Echo, the quiet, reserve and more standoffish entity. They don't talk until talked too, some may say freak; Xavier says lovely.
Echo's more gentle and helpful than they leadon, the smallest of tasks they'll help out with. A bit obsessive at times but they try.

Xavier returned from a solo adventure to the city, he got curious and know Roxy probably wouldn't have let him go.. She's a bit protective at times, he's older- that's his job.. whatever.

Xavier was pulled from his thoughts when he saw Roxy standing in front of him, arms crossed and glaring up at him. "Where were you?" She asked, a disappointed tone. Lovely. "I uh- .. um-" - "Spit it out, Xavier." He would sigh, letting his shoulders slump in defeat; he can't lie to her. "I went to the city.." He would answer a bit sheepishly, avoiding eye contact knowing what's to come. "Xavier you know how dangerous that is! You should've gotten hurt or worse!" Roxy practically shouts at him, her tone so disappointed.

"Calm." Spoke a calm and quiet voice, Xavier looked back over at Roxy and saw Echo standing behind her, hand resting on her shoulder. Their lime green eyes staring down at her, the bandana that Xavier made them plastered over their face to control their ability they have zero control over.
Roxy grumbled something under her breath, yanking her shoulder away from Echo and walked off.
"Roxy's right though," Echo spoke up again, walking up Xavier and putting a fist atop his head. Xavier let out another sigh, his shoulders slumping further as he meet the taller one's gave "I know, but I just wanted to finally see the world humans call home!" Xavier exclaimed, "and I knew you guys wouldn't have let me go.." He added, looking away. "I still would've liked to know, Roxy was worried sick, ya know." Echo's gaze that was usually mistaken for harsh was calm, light, even a little soft. Or maybe that's just what Xavier just wants to see, there's usually nothing behind those eyes..

"I know.."

The night sky sparkled above, the white speaks called stars inside of the void. It was always such a pretty sight, a calming one to Echo. Often out, sitting underneath a blossom tree staring up at the stars; alone..

Well was alone at first, Xavier joined them later on. Neither spoke, not a word. Both underneath a blossom tree, watching the stars silently. Xavier glanced over at Echo, noticing that they seem to be subconsciously rubbing the chemical burn scars on their arms. Xavier thought for a moment, wondering what he could do to help, to make them less self-conscious about those scars.

A idea popped into his head, he'd grab Echo's arm carefully to not startle them. Xavier opened his hand and let a small washable sharpy appear into his hand, he scooted closer to Echo. Taking Echo's arm to where their scars are exposed to them and took the sharpy to trace over the scars. Echo, although caught off guard, watched Xavier carefully but confused. Xavier drew drew little stars all along the cem-burn scars, filling in the empty spaces with the sharpy; turning the scars into the night sky that's above them.

Echo stared quietly in awe, they didn't think they'd could look or see their scars like the night sky...

[ Short story, mainly because I'm feeling a little ill, could be a cold. But also just wanted to share more things about these two! :D ]

This book is simply a one-shot for whatever, hermitcraft, life series, OC's or even different fandoms whenever I have motivation. I don't write very often and it's a hobby, so I don't plan on getting better. But can happen over time if I write more.
