Jax

Two weeks.

Two long weeks.

It's been two fucking weeks since I was able to hold her in my arms, kiss her lips, even look upon her beautiful face. She hasn't come by. I haven't been able to go to her. I've barely even spoken to her on the phone. I miss her and I've been miserable without her around.

It's also been two weeks since we attacked the Red Devils. We anticipated them attacking again, but it's been quiet.

Too quiet.

Axel thinks that we have scared them off, but I know better. I know that Will wouldn't just give up like that. He's not one to lose. I suspect he is planning something and I bet it's big.

I've upped the men's training schedules. I've upgraded our armoury. I am ready for them when they do attack.

We are ready for them.

"I can't believe you agreed to this," Slade says, interrupting my thoughts. He has a scowl on his face and I am sure mine mirrors his.

"Axel says it's a good idea," I say, rolling my eyes. "I probably shouldn't have listened to him."

"Well it did bring in a new group of girls to swoon over him," Ryder said, sliding me a beer. He nods towards his cousin. "I don't understand what women see in him. He's ridiculous."

I look over to my best friend and laugh. He has several girls hanging off of him, all pining for his attention. I swear I just saw one swoon.

"I don't think he would have it any other way, Ry."

"This music is awful! Make it stop!" Slade whines, covering his ears.

"Relax, it's one night," I say, patting him on the shoulder.

"Hey, boss?"

"What?"

Ryder nods towards the door and my eyes follow the motion in time to see that who I miss the most.

"Roxanne," I say.

"You are fucking whipped man."

I push Slade off of the bar stool, but my eyes never leave Roxanne. I watch her as she looks around the bar, shaking her head with a small smile when her eyes land on Axel. Her brows are furrowed as she searches each face until her beautiful grey eyes find mine.

She bites her lip and winks, then she walks to the middle of the dance floor. My eyes never leave her as she begins to move. She's wearing a tight, black, leather dress and heels - something I never thought I would see her in, but she looks amazing. Her hips sway to the God-awful music and my eyes snap down to her legs as her dress hitches up a little.

With a growl, I push myself off of my stool and walk towards her. The sea of people part to allow me to my girl and once I reach her, I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her into me.

"What's a beautiful little thing like you doing alone in a place like this?" I growl into her ear before placing a kiss just behind it.

I feel her shiver and smirk when she replies, "Who says I'm alone?"

Turning in my arm, she looks up at me with an intensity that probably matches my own. I lean in, my lips a breath away and tell her "I missed you" before closing the distance and kissing her with everything I have - leaving no emotions behind.

Her hands work their way up my chest until they find their way into my hair, while my hands find their way down to her ass.

"Where have you been?" I say before kissing her again.

She smiles against my lip, kissing me one more time before pulling away. "Life has been hectic. I came as soon as I could."

"Don't stay away from me this long ever again," I growl kissing her forehead. "Come, let's get a drink."

I take her hand in mine and bring her over to the bar. Ryder comes to us immediately and asks, "What you want?"

"Rye and ginger," Roxanne says. "Thank you."

"Same, Ry. Thanks."

Ryder nods his head and pours our drinks, handing Roxanne hers first then mine.

I take a sip of the cool and very strong drink before turning towards Roxanne. "I-"

"So is this the famous Roxanne?" Slade says, placing an arm around her and winking at me. "Well, you certainly are beautiful, darling. Our Prez here hasn't done you justice."

"That's because words can't describe her," I say and Roxanne blushes.

"No truer words were spoken, brother!" Slade yells, tapping his beer to my glass. "If you don't make her your old lady, I may have to."

"Who says I will be anyone's old lady?" Roxanne asks, her nose crinkled up in disgust.

I chuckle. "It's just what we call our women, love."

"Oh, I'm fully aware, love," She says, a defiant glint in her eye. "I just think it's rather ridiculous. I mean, is there anything old about me? Do I have saggy tits?" She grabs her boobs to emphasize her point. "I think not. I would much prefer to be called your girl or woman versus old lady."

"I'll keep that in mind."

"I like this one, Jax. She's got spirit."

"You know, I couldn't help but hear your conversation," Adalyn says as she sits in the stool beside me. "All these women being called old lady when some are as young as twenty. It's insulting. I will never go for it."

"Fucking right! My best friend-" Roxanne pauses, her smile faltering for a second. "Anyways, I think it's an awful term and I won't go for it."

"Cheers to that sister!" The two girls tap their glasses together, spilling the liquids onto the counter.

Roxanne gets out of her seat and sits on a stool closer to the blonde-haired girl and Slade quickly steals her seat. "I think they will be trouble together, boss," Slade warns, eyeing the two girls. "May want to break that up before it begins."

I look at the two. Roxanne has the biggest smile on her face as she listens to some wild story that Adalyn has to tell. "She will be fine," I tell him as they both tilt their heads back in laughter.

"Ryder! Two shots of Fireball and keep them coming!" Adalyn orders, slapping her hand on the bar.

Ryder looks at me for a second as if he's seeking approval and I give him a nod.

"You sure about that?" Slade asks before slapping me on the back. "Good luck!"

"You gotta be shitting me?!" Adalyn shrieks. "No way that happened!"

"I shit you not. My fucking luck!" Roxanne replies, shaking her head.

"What happened?"

Roxanne turns to me and smiles. "Babe, this is a girl's story. Trust."

"You definitely wouldn't understand, Jax." Adalyn agrees, wrapping an arm around my girl.

The girls down a second shot before Roxanne jumps from her seat and almost yells, "Holy fuck I love this song!"

"Me too, girl! Dance?"

"Yes, ma'am!" She grabs Adalyn's hand and pulls her to the dance floor.

AN: Song isn't appropriate at all. Be warned.

https://youtu.be/VZgg9SIWfI0

This is possibly the most vulgar song ever. It's explicitly telling you how to go down on a girl - not that I ever have any issue with that whatsoever. It's just...wow.

Yet, there's Roxanne holding Adalyn's hand, singing the lyrics to one another as they swing their hips to the beat. I'm sure the whole bar is watching them. They look ridiculous. However, I'm sitting here just staring at Roxanne as I admire how absolutely huge her smile is and how carefree she is right now.

It's a far cry from the girl I left two weeks ago.

"Well, isn't that something," Axel states, interrupting my thoughts. "Never thought those two would hit it off so well."

"It's like they have been best friends forever or some shit."

"Seriously," Axel says, shaking his head. "And what the fuck are we listening to?"

"I have no fucking idea."

"This is fucking awful. Never let me suggest Girl's Night ever again."

"I mean, it was a successful night. And it did look like you were having fun earlier," I say, eyeing him.

He sips on his beer. "Yeah, sure." He says.

"What's up, man?"

"Nothing." He says, his eyes glaring at Adalyn as she adds Slade to their dance. She grinds her ass into him and it looks like Slade is eating it up.

"If I didn't know better-"

"Don't even fucking finish that sentence." He growls and I raise my hands up in surrender. "Get me a beer, Ry!"

Roxanne looks over at me from the dance floor. Our eyes meet for a second, then she whispers something in Adalyn's ear. Adalyn nods her head in agreement and Roxanne begins walking through the crowd towards me.

And by walk, I mean stagger. She's not really steady on those heels anymore.

When she reaches me, she pushes her way between my legs and wraps her arms around my neck. "Whatcha doing over here looking all brooding and what not?"

"I'm not."

"Oh, you are." She says, smirking. "So is Axel. If looks could kill, Slade would be dead by now."

"Yeah, sure," Axel says sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "I'm gonna take off. See ya in the morn', Jax."

"Yeah, man."

Roxanne furrows her brows as she watches him leave the bar. "Was it something I said?"

"Nah, he's always been sensitive when it comes to Adalyn."

"He likes her?" She asks, her attention returning to me.

"Who knows? He never goes that deep with me."

"You never think to ask?" She raises a brow. "Aren't you, like, best friends or something?"

"Guys aren't like girls, love," I tell her, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "We don't talk about that shit, really."

"Well, maybe you should. Not good to keep that shit bottled up." She mutters. "Anyways, I think she would be good for him. She's exactly what he needs."

I shake my head. "Not gonna happen, Roxanne."

"And why not?"

"Adalyn is a club whore. She would never settle down with anyone."

Her eyes hold an anger, yet I can tell she understands. "Oh," She says, pursing her lips.

I kiss her forehead. "Let's talk about something else, love."

She nods her head and offers a small smile before leaning her head on my chest. "I'm getting tired, Jaxon." I hear her mumble.

"Let's go then."

She pulls away, stumbling a bit before grabbing my arm to hold herself steady. I place my arm around her - more so to hold her up than anything else - and guide her through the people to the entrance of the bar. My bike is the first one in the line and I gently push her towards it, but she stops.

"I can't get on there. I'm way too drunk, Jaxon."

"It's a short drive, love, and I have no other vehicle. We have no choice."

She shakes her head no. "I can't. Can you drive Lucille? There's no way I can go on that. Not like this." She gestures to her dress. "And not when I've been doing shots of Fireball."

I chuckle. "Fine. Lead the way." I say, lightly bowing.

Roxanne throws her keys towards me before skipping to what I assume to be 'Lucille'. "Lucille, baby, I've missed you," She coos before kissing the hood of the car. "Jaxon here is gonna drive you tonight. You treat him real nice, you here? Don't look at me like that. He won't hurt you. I promise. 'K, she's ready for you!"

"Okay, love," I laugh, shaking my head. She's adorable like this.

It takes several minutes to get Roxanne in the passenger seat with her seatbelt actually buckled. It takes bribes of McDonald's breakfast and a Tim Hortons iced coffee, but I'm finally behind the wheel of my girl's car.

As I turn onto the world, Roxanne lightly touches my face - tracing along my jaw with her fingers and I have to suppress the shiver the runs through me.

"You are a beautiful man, Jaxon," She whispers.

"And you are a beautiful woman, Roxanne."

"Can I tell you a secret?" She asks, laying her head in my lap.

"Of course. You could tell me anything."

"Whenever I'm around you," She whispers. "My heart goes like this-" She rapidly pats her chest. "And I never can breathe properly. I feel like I can't look anywhere but you.

"I think I like you, Jaxon. A lot."

"I-"

"And I'm not just saying that because I'm drunk!" She exclaims loudly, giggling. "But I am really drunk."

"That you are, love. You gonna remember this at all?" I ask her, sneaking a peek at her as she snuggles into me.

"Every word, babe. I'll remember every fucking word." She whispers as she closes her eyes and drifts off to dreamland.
