Roxanne's POV

We didn't find Bane on Coruscant. He kidnapped two future younglings. Before Ahsoka and master Skywalker caught him on Naboo before he could take a third. With the help of the gungans. Now it's time to interrogate him. I'm in the cell with masters Windu and Obi-wan as they face Bane.

"We know you've taken at least two children. Where are they?" Master Obi-wan asks him.

"Beyond your reach" Bane answers.

"Who are you working for?" Master Windu asks.

"I work alone" Bane states.

"It is only a matter of time before we locate the holocron. Make it easier on yourself" Obi-wan tells him.

"What are you going to do, Jedi, torture me?" Bane asks. Idiot, he knows torture is not the jedi way.

"I think the fear of whoever you work for outweighs your fear of us" Windu tells him.

"This conversation is over" Bane states as he leans back in his chair. I notice Ahsoka approaching with Master Skywalker.

"Master" I say and he looks at me. I nod to the door and we exit the cell. To greet Ahsoka and Master Skywalker.

"We tore the ship apart. There's no sign of the holocron or the kids" Master Skywalker tells us.

"Did you check the ship's navigation records?" Master Windu asks them.

"They were wiped clean before he landed on Naboo" Ahsoka states.

"We'll have to use the Force to make him talk" Master Skywalker states.

"Like Master Obi-wan did on that pirate?" I ask and he nods his head.

"I don't think Bane is as weak as that pirate was" Master Obi-wan tells us.

"Maybe if we all concentrated on his mind together" Ahsoka suggests.

"She means you three, as we have not learnt it yet" I state.

"Mmm. Using the Force to compel a strong mind to cooperate is risky" Master Obi-wan tells us.

"There is a danger that his mind could be destroyed in the process" Master Windu adds.

"Well, do we have another choice?" Master Skywalker asks them. They don't answer and we all enter the cell. Ahsoka and I stand by the door allowing the masters to do their work.

"You will take us to the holocron" Master Skywalker says using the force.

"Jedi mind tricks don't work on me" Bane tells him smugly.

"You will take us to the holocron" Masters Skywalker and Obi-wan say together using the force.

"Forget it" Bane tells them.

"You will take us to the holocron" all three masters say using the force.

"I-- I won't" Bane says panting as his resolve weakens.

"And you'll take us now" they say firmly still using the force.

"I... I will take you" Bane says and then looks angry with himself. "No! Get out of my head!" he shouts groaning. They stop using the force. Bane gasps for air.

"Perhaps we should try again" Master Skywalker says.

"I... I've had enough of that" Bane tells them. "I'll take you to the holocron. You'll get your children back" he tells them. A ship is prepared for masters Windu, Obi-wan and I.

"The Chancellor wants a report on our progress" Maser Windu tells Obi-wan and Skywalker.

"Tell him this is not Republic business. It's an internal Jedi affair" Obi-wan tells him.

"I'm sorry to disagree, but as long as the Jedi are acting as a military. We should report to the Chancellor, even on internal matters such as this" Master Skywalker tells them. Ahsoka and I are walking behind them with Q5 (her droid) and R2.

"Well, then, I guess you just volunteered to go" Obi-wan says patting him on the shoulder with a smile. "Give the Chancellor my regards" he tells him. As we start to walk away with Master Windu and Q5.

"Now, wait a minute!" Skywalker tries to protest.

"I agree. Report back here when you are finished" Master Windu tells him.

"This could be a trap, Master. You sure you don't need us to go?" Skywalker asks them.

"Of course it's a trap, Skywalker" Master Windu chuckles.

"I will contact you when we find the children"  Master Obi-wan assures him. We board the ship after Bane and the troops. We take off and Master Windu asks Bane for the coordinates.

"The coordinates are 673117, cross 7RB71" Bane tells him. Q5 puts them in.

"That will take us into the far Outer Rim. Neutral space" Obi-wan states as he looks at his screen.

"Do you want your holocron and your kids or not?" Bane asks him.

"He's our only lead master" I remind him and we jump into hyperspace.

"When we arrive you are to stay on the ship Roxanne" Obi-wan tells me.

"But Master, I'll be of more help if it is a trap" I tell him.

"If it is a trap, we'll need a to leave quickly" he tells.

"Q5 can pilot the ship" I state.

"No arguments Roxanne, stay on the ship" he tells me.

"Yes master" I say.

(Time skip)

We reach an out post and dock. Obi-wan and Windu enter the compound alone with Bane. Leaving with the clone troopers and Q5. "Why must he treat me like a youngling? Have I not proven that I can take care of myself?" I ask Commander Cody.

"He knows you can, but this is a dangerous mission. He does not want to risk losing you as well as the future younglings" he tells me. I sigh as I sit in the pilot chair looking at the stars.

Suddenly we hear an alarm go off and I curse. "Stay with the ship" I tell the troopers. I grab my saber and run into the compound. I follow my master's force and find him trapped by lasers with Master Windu.

"Roxanne, get the holocron" Master Obi-wan tells me. I nod my head, glad I took gymnastics on my home planet. I flip through the lasers and soon reach it. I pocket it.

"I've got the holocron masters" I tell them.

"Lets get out of here" Windu states. We run for the door and exit it as it closes. We race back to the ship.

"Anytime Cody" Master Obi-wan says. He undocks us and we fly off as the compound self destructs. "You disobeyed a direct order" he tells me.

"I'm sorry master, I just couldn't stay put when I know you were in danger" I tell him. "But we got the holocron. Any sign of the kids?" I ask them.

"No, they weren't there" Windu states.

"At least that means they're still alive" I tell them. "Maybe Ahsoka and Master Skywalker found something" I state as we jump into hypserspace. "By the way, here" I say handing the holocron to Master Obi-wan. "A master should have this" I state.

(Time skip)

Skywalker and Ahsoka saved the kids. They used the fuel computer to determine what planets Bane had visited. They went to Mustafar and found the two children. They saved them just before the compound fell into the lava. Now we are reporting to the jedi council.

"The base was completely destroyed, Master" Skywalker tells Master Yoda. "And so was any clue who's behind this" he adds.

"Hmm, most unfortunate this is" Master Yoda states.

"We still have Bane" Skywalker says looking at Master Obi-wan. Who shakes his head.

"He got away again?" Ahsoka asks.

"The important thing is that the children are safe and we have recovered the holocron" Master Obi-wan tells them.

"The list is intact, and there is no evidence it was copied" Master Windu states.

"Still, the future of all Jedi uncertain is" Yoda tells us. "Move forward cautiously we must" he instructs. We bow agreeing. I leave with Ahsoka and Master Skywalker. As Obi-wan stays behind to talk to the council.

"What happens now Master Skywalker?" I ask.

"The children have been returned to their mothers and been relocated. Along with the gungan family on Naboo. To ensure their safety" he states. "You both did well" he tells us.

"Thank you Master" we say. My communicator beeps. I look at it and curse.

"What is it?" Ahsoka asks me.

"Nothing, I'm late for something" I tell her. "Good bye Ahsoka, Master Skywalker" I say and leave them. I go to my private quarters. "Call mum" I tell Q5 and she does so. "Sorry I'm late mum, we had an urgent internal jedi matter to handle" I tell her.

"I heard, I'm not sure I feel comfortable you remaining there Roxanne" she tells me. "Even with Master Obi-wan Kenobi as your master" she states.

"I'm fine mum, perfectly safe" I assure her. "I promise, I'll come visit soon" I state.

"You had better, I miss you and so does your cousin" she tells me.

"I miss you both also" I tell her. Someone knocks on my door. "I gotta go, I'll contact you again later"I tell her. She nods her head and the hologram disappears. I go to my door to see Ahsoka.

"It's dinner time, did you want to go to the cafeteria together?" she asks. I nod my head. We leave my room with Q5. We go get a bite to eat before deciding to have a sleepover as we won't leave again until tomorrow.
