<•Hiccup's POV•>

The next morning I thought I was at home, with toothless's tongue as a makeshift alarm clock.

And what was weird was that I awoke in a slobbery puddle. and at first I thought I just peed during the middle of the night.

But it was toothless, standing above me, his tongue hanging out of his mouth, allowing his spit to drip onto my chest.

"Toothless?" I say softly and look around to see if I was the only one who saw him. but everyone was asleep. even jack who was on guard duty.

"Don't tell me your burned down the stables." I crawl out from under him and wipe the slobber off my clothes.

Toothless nodded happily.

I sigh and pet his head. "that's vandalism buddy."

The was a yelp from behind toothless and I craned my neck to see what was wrong.

It was rapunzel, with the dragon's tail flopped on top of her.

Jack awoke with a start, but banged his head on a low hanging branch. "agh..." he rubbed his forehead and looked at the dragon.

"How did he get here?" jack asked.

"Burned down your stables." I shrug and jack groans.

Merida slowly rolled over and opened her eyes to see a dragon right in front of her face. "oh hello." she said drowsily.

I walk over to her and offer a hand so she would stand up. her hair was even crazier than usual which I admit was very funny.

Eventually, punzie got out from under the tail. "I want to go to hiccup's old home!"

Merida nodded in agreement.

"Ok but how are we going to get there?" jack asks. but I clear my throat and gesture to toothless.

"Oh yeah... right. everyone on the flying lizard."
