" Over there! Put the branch over there!" I yowled at Icytuft. We had to reinforce the nursery with more brambles after the badger attack. Scarletkit was tackling Skunkkit, who was protesting. "Im stronger than you Skunkkit!" She squealed. H e squirmed under her. "No your not. Im just going easy on you." He retorted. I snorted with amusment. I look across the camp to see Sunpelt giving me a glance. I growled and flicked my tail. "Were done with the nursery." Icytuft broke through my thoughts. I nodded my head. "Im going to go hunt alone." I said turning towards the camp entrance. I walked out and starred at the trees above my head. I sighed, wishing I had Wolffang next to me. I raced through the forest trying to clear him out of my mind. He saved me. Out of everyone he saved me. He rather have me here than him. Pity gripped my heart. I sighed and starred at the ground while I walked through the forest. I bumbed into something. I looked up and saw the training tree. Claw marks from all ages of cats twirled around the tree. I remeberd training with Wolffang on this tree. We had to hunt down a squrriel. He almost feel off. Amusment made me giggle. There was a twig snap, and then smething bowled into me. I looked at the shape. It moved.  It was a kit! I ran over to it and sniffed it all over. She was bleeding from herleg. Something had bit her because she had bite marks in her. I smelled her. A scent clung to her. It finaly came to me. This kit was an Emberclan kit. I looked across the border to see a white pelt flick in and out of bushes. Her pelt was going farther and farther away from me.

I ran into camp with the kit mewling in my jaws." Creampaw!" I screeched. He came bounding out of the medicane den. He saw the kit and his eyes widend. I ran to him. I had almost tripped over Skunkkit. I charged into the medicane den and set the kit down. She was mewling with protest as Creampaw moved her leg back and forth. "Is she going to be ok?" I asked him. He nodded his head and gatherd some herbs. I slipped out of the den and walked over to the prey pile. I sniffed a frozen mouse. Leaffall wasn't to nice to us this year. I grabbed it and walked to the nursery. Poppystorm saw me and the prey and she smiled. "Thank you dear. One more moon and these ones will be apprentices. I hope they get a good mentor." She said digging into the frozen mouse. I nodded and slipped out of the den. Everyone was doing something.

Darkstar beckond me with his tail. I padded toward him. "Yes?" I asked poilitley. " Two things. First, where did you find the kit?" He asked. "I found her at the Emberclan border." I replied. He nodded his head. "Second, would you like to mentor one of Poppystorm's kits?" He asked. Shock rippled through me. "Yes!" I blurted out. His eyes glistend with amusment. 'Thats great." He said getting up and walking to his den.
