I stood frozen with fear.The fox leapt at me snarling and bit my hind-leg. I screeched with pain and whipped around slashing it's muzzle. The apprentices and Darkstar came to my rescue. The apprentices lashed at the fox with angry hisses and outstretched claws.The fox ran off angrily.

They helped me limp back to camp. Every time I would put pressure on my paw I would feel fiery pain.

I lay on the moss while Creampatch, who just got his full name, put herbs on me. I thought about Blackice to much. I missed him. Creampatch looked like he was hiding something. My stomach growled with hunger. "So... How's being a medicine cat?" I asked trying to stop the erry silence. "Well I always get to help cats. I miss Hazelwing!" Creampatch wailed. The medicine cat had sadly passed and joined Starclan. I could feel pity in my heart. I could feel tears for him. "It's ok Creampatch." I said while my voice cracked. He was so miserable. He was a great medicine cat but he was so miserable. "Your done." He said sighing.

I sat up and starred at him. "Creampatch don't you miss play fighting?" I said sighing. He nodded. I leapt and landed on his back. He screeched with suprise. He turned around and threw me down. I batted at his ears. He kicked at my chest.

"Break it up you two." Someone growled. I looked up and saw Icytuft. I sighed and pushed Creampatch off of me. Clearly our play fight had cheered him up. "You got some good moves." I said with a friendly shove to his shoulder.

I sat eating a small vole when Scarletpaw padded up to me. I had given her my greatest secret and she hadn't shared it. "Yes?" I said gulping down the last few bites. "Are you meeting him tonight?' She asked curiously. "No. I need rest you know. And plus I need to train you for your final assement next moon." I said putting my tail on her shoulder. She nodded and looked pleased.

I lay in the medicine den once again. I felt so sick. Creampatch paced that back of the den looking for herbs, well thats at least what I thought he was doing. "Roseleaf... your having kits." He said chocking on the words.
