I layed there with him under the stars. Something nagged at my stomach, I knew I had to ask. "Why do you like me?" I blurted out. Instantly I regretted it. "Why wouldn't I, your amazing, strong, confident, gorgeous. The moment I saw you I knew I loved you. Everything about you made me go wild. I wanted to see you everyday. You make me.. happy." He spoke, his eyes shining with every word. I sighed with relief. " I know im strong." I joked nudgeing him. He snorted with amusment.

"But isn't this wrong, what we have?" I asked worry darkeing inside me like a storm on a new moon night. "Does it feel wrong to you?" He asked gently. "No, it feels... right, like were suppost to be together. Like it's our destiny." I said heavily. I looked at the stars. They were fading into the coming morning.

"I have to go." I said getting up. 'I don't want you to go." He whisperd. Sadness pierced my heart with every parting word. "I'll see you again." I whisperd. That feeling I kept having left when I was with him.

I pushed through the dirt-place hole quietly. I had a mouse in my jaws. "Where have you been?!" A angry voice growled from behind me. "Out, hunting." I snorted turning around. Icytuft stood in front of me, his tail flicked behind him angrily.

"Oh really, well your suppost to train Scarletpaw today." He growled angrily. "And why didn't you go through the regular entrance. "I thought it would be more fun if I went a diffrent route. Do you have a problem with that?' I growled. I felt my hair pricking up on my back." Whatever." I said putting the mouse on the prey pile.

I woke up to Scarletpaw blurrting out my name angrily. I pushed my way out of the prickly den. 'Im coming, Im coming." I growled.  Relief shone in her eyes.

"When am I going to have my assement?" She asked excitedly. 'You have only been my apprentice for a quarter moon. I mean your a fast learner and everything, but you still have a few moons to go." I said starring off into the forest.

 A shriek threw me out of my thoughts and I turned my head to the direction of camp. I raced back with Scarletpaw at my heels.

The limp body of Volewhisker laying in the medicane den. ' Our deputy..." I whisperd.
