I starred at him astonished. This was against the warrior code. I looked up at the sky, the moon shone brightly. I gulped and nodded. "I will meet you here tomorrow. Just one question, why?" I asked confused. Could he like me, or just want to try to kill me? "Because, I like you, I like you a lot." He said as his eyes glistend with excitment. I nodded and walked away from him. I had to tell someone but who? I gather with my clan as e left. Scarletpaw was boasting to Skunkpaw that she met more cats.

"Scarletpaw!' I hissed. She stopped, landing ont he ground. "What did I do wrong?" She asked watching Skunkpaw. "You didn't claw then duck. You ducked then clawed." I growled. We had practiced this move a thousand times.  Im sorry." She whined. "Sorry dosn't defend your camp." I said lashing my tail. "Lets make a deal, if you can get the move right, you won't have to clean the elders fur for a moon." I said. Her ears pricked and she nodded.

I watched as she charged towards Skunkpaw. His eye's cleamed wth curiosity. She slashed out her paw and hit him the chest. He steped back clumisly and lashed out a paw. She ducked and slid left dodging his paws. He hissed and leapt towards her. She jumped in the air. His eyes gleamed with misunderstanding. In mid-air she landed on his back and slammed her paw into his back. He landed face-first in the ground. She leapt off of him and turned towards me. She smirked and lashed her tail. I nodded to her as I walked over to Skunkpaw.

He groaned on the ground as I pushed him with my paw. "Get up." I said pushing him. "But if I do she will make fun of me. "He groaned. "No she wont, right Scarletpaw?" I said turning my head to her. She nodded. " Get up before I tell kit's their stronger than a apprentice." He leapt to his paw's quickly. " I didn't think you wanted that. Now let's go back to camp." I said pushing through ferns. I heard the apprentices heavy paw's behind me.

 We padded into camp. "You two can each pick something off the prey-pile. "I said dismissing them. They ran off together. I looked up at the sky and saw the sun sinking. Darkstar padded over to me. "How were the apprentices? I want to know if my apprentice did great." He said boasting about Skunkpaw slightly. "They did great, although Scarletpaw beat Skunkpaw." I whisperd. He snorted. "Get some rest, training apprentices isn't that easy." He said padding away.

 I rose from my nest clumsily. Icytuft groaned beside me. I padded out of the den. I looked around at the deserted camp. I slid out of the dirtplace tunnel.

I slid into the clearing. I looked around and didn't see him. I sighed, I guess he wasn't here. I turned around. 'Where are you going?" A voice hissed behind me. I snapped my head around and saw him. Relief hung in the air. " I thought you weren't coming." I said chocking on the words. "I would always come."
