It's my birthdayyy! I'm eighteen now. Fear me.

Just kidding. I'm too adorable to be feared :)

Dad walked into the room. "Hey Philio."

"Hey daddio."

"nO."

"Okay?"

"Are you leaving?" He asked.

"Yeah."

"Why? You should spend your birthday with your super cool dads," he suggested, wiggling his hips as he said "super cool."

"But.." Oof. Excuses aren't my speciality. Sneaking around is.. "I'm always with you? I'll be back later, and then we can do your super cool dad stuff," I said, mimicking his little dance.

"It's like looking in a mirror." (haH) He smiled. "Well fine. But where are you headed?" He's asking innocently like he is actually curious. Not like I'm in trouble. That's Pa.

Hanging out with Theo. I'll say I'm going to hang with Georges, Lafayette's cousin (ik Georges was Laf's son but why and how would he have a son in this story? idk? i'm just making him his cousin so it makes more sense..?). "Just hanging out with Georges."

"Cool."

"Yeah."

"Except Georges is visiting family in France, so no you're not."

Shit.

"Welp. I meant my cousin, Frances."

"She's at her friend's wedding. And you've been hanging out a lot more outside of school with random people."

"Have I?"

"Yes. What's going on?"

"I have friends?"

"You sure that's it?" He sighed. "I won't tell Alex- er Pa."

I smirked and gave in. I trust that he won't do something when he says he won't. "Fine. You know Theo?"

I told him all the stuff the reader knows already, so I won't explain it all again.

"Oh?" He got Fleebus out of his tank and started letting crawl on his arm. "Really?"

"Um yeah."

"Well I don't think this will work out very well, but I love loooove. Love is a many splendored thing, love lifts us up where we belong, all you need is love!"

"Please don't start that again."

"All you ne-"

"No, I mean don't start singing. The neighbors called us because of a noise complaint, Pa said."

John POV

Hah not because of the singing ;)

Philip POV

Why is he smirking..?

"So can I go?"

"Fiiine. Just be back by, I don't know, five or so. That way you can have some time with your," we both danced and said, "super cool dad."
