Theodosia POV

I got out of class and went straight for the rose garden where Philip was waiting like usual. I smiled at him, but he didn't return it. Hm.

"Hey Pip!"

"Hi."

"What's up? You seem kinda off."

"No. I'm fine."

Okay.. This is weird though. "Okay then."

His face suddenly turned more serious than blank. He was leaning on the building behind him, but he got up. "Theo?"

"Yeah?"

"I have to, uh, we should talk about some stuff."

"Oh." Oof. "Like what?"

"Like how we need to break up." He started to spin on his foot to leave.

"What?"

He turned towards me again and looked down at me. "Hm?"

"But why?"

He sighed. "Just..bye."

"Philip." I walked towards him but he frowned.

"Theo, I'm sorry."

I sat in the garden for a little while. I'm not crying though? I don't know.

Then a figure popped up in the shadows. I was literally right about to get up and go home, but now I'll stay here and try to not be killed by this person. They're coming towards me. AhH.

Just Philip. Thought it was a hitman or something.. (HAAahahHH)

He spoke. "Hey..?"

"How'd you know I was here?"

"Saw your location on snapchat. And if you weren't here, I only know how to walk to your house from the school."

"Oh." I sighed.

"I wanted to talk. Uh again."

"Why?"

He came closer and sat down, but not close, really. We're five feet apart cuz we're not gay. "Okay. I feel really bad about earlier."

"Do you?"

"Yeah. I-"

I sighed, which cut him off.

"I didn't mean to do it."

"You didn't mean to initiate a break up with your girlfriend and walk off without explaining anything?" Why are boys so difficult??

"Look. My dad made me. Actually. He won't tell me why, but he picked me up today to see that I broke up with you. I'm sorry I didn't try to tell you."

I sighed again. "Really?"

He nodded. "I wouldn't ever do that to you." He stopped there. I don't know why, but I wasn't even upset. His face is like a bunny. And I like bunnies. I love bunnies. Omg.

I moved closer and hhhhhugged him. I also like hugs. I mumbled a muffled "I love you Pip." I like,, felt him smile. His whole body just smiled. Idk.

"Love you too, Theo."
