Inspired by the saying "Never a rose without thorns" which means every rose has it's flaw.

She looked at her every flaw

And became insecure

She looked at her skin 

Which was deep and melanin

And thought

It's dark but it's heavenly

And she felt perfect

He looked at his nose

It's thick he knows

Chubby it's called

But on his face, it's gold

She looked at her lips

Tiny and small

Are they even normal?

That was uncalled for

But she smiled in the mirror

And appreciated what was given to her

I'm a rose

A rose with thorns

Insecurity comes like a storm

But I still stand tall

Proud at every stop

Proud of every flaw

Even though I have thorns

I am still beautiful rose
