Jeon Jeongguk,a boy who was barely awake at the moment. It was 4am and he is still awake,doing his assignments that is due tomorrow. There were a lot of other things he had to do that he forgot about this. So here he is,sacrificing his sleep so he can submit it tomorrow.

After every other second he feels his eyes shut down,his eyelids not holding up so well. He groaned at how sleepy he was, he left his pen on his desk and and went up straight to the bathroom. He looked at his sleepy self,his hair messed up and his whole face looking tired. He was really tired. He opened the tap and washed his face with water so just he can feel fresh and not sleep. He is almost done,he can do it in half an hour.

He walks back to his desk,if this wasn't all dependent on his grade,he wouldn't have did this shit at all,he loves to sleep,he won't sacrifice his sleep for school work if it wasn't this important. Just as he thought he could do this,he felt his stomach grumble.

"Are you serious? Again?" Jeongguk said to himself as he patted his stomach. He looked at the two cups of instant noodles right next to his laptop. Yes,he ate those...well he basically only eats that. Well Jeongguk is in college,a broke college student is what he calls himself.

He isn't from a rich family so he is struggling in college. Tuition fees are already too much,it's not like he pays for that,his parents do and he doesn't want to burden his parents more by also taking money for his living expenses. They obviously tried to offer him more money for that but Jeongguk couldn't take it and said he is more than thankful they are paying for his fees.

So Jeongguk pays for the rent and other necessities in his life by himself,he works at this cafe owned by Yoongi's Friend,Namjoon. He works under him,the cafe is pretty popular so that's why his pay is high too. He works for 4-5 hours everyday except Sundays,it depends on what time he is going,Namjoon usually texts him when he should come. His shifts are mostly at night like around 8pm. Namjoon knows he is a college student so his classes differ time to time,night is the only time he won't be coming inbetween those.

"Gukkie?" He heard someone call his name out from the door. He shifted his gaze from his laptop to the door.

"Hyung!" Jeongguk replied back as he saw Seokjin standing in the door. Jin shook his head in disappointment. He was in his pajamas and it looked he just woke up from his sleep.

"You are still awake? I heard groans coming from your room so I decided to come and check up on you"

"What if I was masturbating hyung?" Jeongguk joked around with him,Jin rolled his eyes at his behavior.

"Shut up gguk,you would have locked your door then,I'm glad I didn't saw your dick out though. Anyway why are you still awake? You know you have a morning class tomorrow!" He declared. Sometimes he really nags like his parents,but Jeongguk won't complain,it keeps him sane.

"Sorry hyung,it's just I have this assignment that is due tomorrow and my grade really depends on this so I need to stay awake" Jeongguk apologised to him.

"Guk-Ah, you should stop being so careless and keep on check for your homework and shit. Staying this late will make you weak. You need proper sleep,well Carry on then. Try to finish it as much as you can right now. Rest you can just do it once you wake up. Atleast you will get some sleep" Jin told him to take care of himself in easy words,sympathetically. Jeongguk gave him a assuring smile and nodded.

"Thank you hyung for being here. I will do that."

"Anytime guk,you are my bestfriend. I will go now you carry on" Jin said to him as he went out of his room.

He lives in apartment with his bestfriend, Kim Seokjin. Well also Min Yoongi,who is Seokjin's boyfriend. He doesn't live here-well he doesn't sleeps here but he is here for the daytime or whenever Jin is free from class. Dorm isn't too small,it's quite good for the rent he pays for it. It has two rooms,two bathrooms,a kitchen and tv lounge. He is thankful that he found Jin so he could pay half of the Rent for this amazing place. He is also thankful for a lot things because of Jin but we will get to that later. Jin is like his brother,they both care for eachother a lot but they also goof around too.

Jeongguk is hungry,he has nothing to eat. It's 4am,he can't order take out and he is too sleepy and lazy to make something for him. It only leaves up to one conclusion,sleep the hunger. Jeongguk checked his assignment one last time,he knows there will be mistakes later on because he has no energy to check this so he is leaving out most things but Atleast he is done with it so fuck it.

He walks toward his bed and jumps into it. His soft mattress sucking him in. He smiles as his body feels so relaxed,he was a lot tense earlier but now he is much better. Jin was right,he really needs proper sleep. Without much thoughts,he drifted off to sleep,washing the tiredness off.

When Jeongguk said today was not his day,he really wasn't kidding. He woke up half an hour late,his alarm went on and on many times but since Jeongguk was very tried last night,he was in deep sleep. He didn't wake up until the last ring of his alarm. He was going to sleep five minutes more until he saw the time,6:30 am. His class is starting in less then 30 minutes.

His eyes widened as he quickly out of the bed. He did his business in the bathroom and other things like brushing his teeth,washing his face and stuff. After cleaning himself up and all,he quickly opened his closet and wore the first thing he saw which was a black simple hoodie,since he didn't change last night. He wore the same black ripped jeans and quickly put on his boots. He didn't had time to style his hair. He took his backpack and put his laptop inside.

He saw the apartment was empty. Jin probably left for his class too. Jeongguk thought why he didn't wake him up? But without giving it much thought,he just shrugged it off and exited the apartment. He should be glad that his apartment was close to the campus or he would be screwed.

After 20 minutes of bus ride,he was finally here. He ran off the bus and straight into the campus. He saw barely anyone in the hallways,the only people who come at morning are the one who have morning classes otherwise they don't which is why it is mostly empty because the morning class has started already. He took too much time getting ready so classes have already started fifteen minutes ago. His Professor is going to scold him or let's hope he doesn't. In no time Jeongguk made into his class as he was running In the hallways. He entered the class and saw the professor already writing something on the board. Everyone eyes were on Jeongguk and some even started to whisper at how late he was.

Jeongguk quietly made his way up to his seat in the corner as he always sits. He silently put his bag down,trying to blend in the students so his professor won't notice he is late and I think he successfully achieved that.

"I received all of the assignment of you guys submitted and I was checking them this morning,whoever didn't submitted their assignment is automatically failed. I gave you guys a whole week so I am not buying any of your excuses. There are still some left unchecked I will soon check them. Class dismissed. Jeon Jeongguk please stay after the class" As soon as he heard professor call his name,he cursed under his breath. Everyone went out of the room,leaving him and his teacher alone in the class.

Jeongguk walked up to his desk and looked down at him. With a stern face,not giving Away too much. Professor fixed his glasses and looked up at Jeongguk with a glare.

"I called you for your assignment. What is this Jeongguk? You started off pretty good but at the middle and end you just got mixed up about the objective. Is anything the problem? I gave you guys a whole week and this is what I get? You are one of my top students Jeongguk, seeing this type of performance from you is shocking." His Professor scolded him. Jeongguk wanted to smack his head against the wall,he really doesn't want to get scolded after his shitty morning.

"I'm sorry professor,I will be honest with you. I actually forgot about this assignment,there is a lot of things going on right now and it just slipped my mind,it won't happen again,I promise" Jeongguk was apologising and kind of sugar coating things,he needs those grades.

"Fine,I'm leaving you off this time and passing you on this one but I don't want to see you doing this mistake again okay? You are dismissed" Professor closed the conversation as Jeongguk smiled and thanked him. He was glad this was off his shoulder now.

He walked out of the class,looking down at his feet. Kind off of his mind,his thoughts all clouded. Too deep in there,thinking about just something. As he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings,he out of nowhere,bumped into someone. Making himself stumble back a little and come back to reality.

When Jeongguk looked up at the men who he bumped into,he swears he saw the most pretty yet handsome man alive. Maybe this morning wasn't so bad.

There he was standing with his fluffy permed chocolate hair,his curls were falling on his beautiful brown eyes,his long eyelashes. The look he gave was so strong yet intimidating. His sculpted by god himself face,the pink luscious plump lips which looked so kissable and his soft cheeks that he wanted to squish.

He was wearing a red top tucked inside his black jeans with a Gucci belt on,his curves were very prominent as his body was so curvy and toned up just from a first look. This man was a work of art. Who looks this good inside this campus On a Wednesday morning? No one except this man only. Jeongguk is in shock at how beautiful this guy was.

He saw the man shift uncomfortably as Jeongguk realised he was literally checking a man out. His eyes widened and he immediately bowed to him.

"I'm so sorry,I-I didn't mean to bump on you,I didn't looked, also sorry for making you feel uncomfortable I didn't meant to-" Jeongguk blabbered,out of nervousness when the guy cut him off. He chuckled at how cute Jeongguk looked while blabbering.

"Hey it's okay,it's my fault too I wasn't looking too,not gonna lie you kind of caught me off guard from checking me out though" he went right into it,straight forward, Jeongguk loves his confidence. But he felt his cheeks heat up at the statement.

"Again,I am sorry I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I was shocked by how beautiful you are, not to exaggerate but you have to be the most handsome man I have ever saw" Jeongguk once again spoke his mind,he doesn't know himself from where did this confidence came from. The guy was taken by that much compliments. He was flustered he won't lie.

"Woah are you flirting with me? I don't mind it you know,you are really cute yourself. I'm Kim Taehyung,22 years old,nice to meet you...?" Taehyung asked him for name as he trailed.

"J-Jeongguk,Jeon Jeongguk,20 years old. You can call me guk,Gukkie or anything"

"How about I call you mine?" Jeongguk swears he felt someone punch him in the stomach but from inside.

"Who is flirting now??" Jeongguk said to him with a smug on his face. Taehyung chuckled as he looked at the time on his wrist watch.

"Sorry Jeongguk,I gotta go now my class is going to start. I will see you around...hopefully?" Taehyung looked at him,expecting him to say something because he for sure doesn't want their talk to be one time thing. Jeongguk seems cool,he wont mind being friends with him.

"Yeah Ofcourse see you around,hyung" Jeongguk called him hyung which made Taehyung smile. They bid eachother goodbyes as Taehyung walked by him,on the way to his class. "Wow" Jeongguk mumbled at the thought of Taehyung. What a handsome man.

He is free now for an hour Atleast,which is when it's his next class. He can go to the library to sleep as they have these cozy big ass bean bags which are so fun to sleep in and the librarian is cool too and since he didn't slept much too it will be good to sleep an hour more or he could go to cafeteria so he can eat since he didn't eat anything for breakfast too. He is pretty hungry but he doesn't have much money though. So should he sleep or eat something?

Just as he was reaching to a conclusion in his head,his phone started to ring as his embarrassing anime theme song played.  He quickly picked it up as he saw the contact name. It was Jin.

"Hello? Hyung?"

"Hello,Gukkie you free right?" Jin asked him through the phone.

"Yeah my class just ended why?" Jeongguk questioned him.

"I'm at cafeteria,let's eat together as I'm free too"

"But hyung....I don't have money right now and I was actually going to sleep at library" Jeongguk told him honestly.

"Gukkie,I told you money isn't a problem for me. You can sleep later. I know next class is your last class today,you can sleep for the whole day. Come to the cafeteria,my treat" Jin insisted him to come to the cafeteria. Jeongguk couldn't say no now.

"You treat? Fine,thank you hyung,I owe you"

"You really Don't,now hurry up"  Jin said as he hung up the phone. Jeongguk our the phone in his pockets and decided to go the cafeteria.

Jeongguk was siting with Jin and Yoongi. Eating the food,bought by Jin who he is thankful for. As soon he took the first bite,he realised how hungry he was and how he should really take care of his meals.

"Guk,if you need to eat more just tell,I know you have been hungry for god knows how long,you literally live off instant ramen,you will die at this rate" Jin said to him.

"He is right Guk-Ah,you need to take care of yourself. We know you don't want to spend your money on this as you don't have much but we are your friends,if you don't have enough please ask us. We will gladly help you just please don't eat improper meals" Yoongi told him,he cares for him a lot. They both care for him like their own little brother.

"I'm sorry for making you worry hyungs, I know you guys understand me and want me to be okay but I don't want to feel like a burden to you guys. I can't just ask for money from you" Jeongguk replied,not making an eye contact with them. Jin shook his head.

"Tsk, please Gukkie we are your friends,we don't care about anything else. Just think of us as your big brothers huh? This discussion is over. You won't starve yourself anymore and will have proper meals even if you have to ask us for it okay?" Jin said to him as he nodded.

"How is part time job going?"

"I have a shift at 6pm today till 9pm,it pays well so it's going good" Jeongguk protested.

"Today? Oh no"

"What? Why"

"Well you see,we seniors are going for a drink tonight with the new freshman's and we are also going to do secret Santa today,you have to come guk" Jin told him,more like commanded him to come. Jeongguk scoffed.

"Yeah no,I just told you Jin I need this money,I can't skip" Jeongguk completely denied  as he isn't coming.

"Come on you have to come"

"No,why now anyways? The first semester is going to end,you guys just realised we had new freshman?" Jeongguk had a point as even Jin agreed with it.

"Well I don't know about that but since Christmas is coming and we do Secret Santa every year so that's why it's now" Jin explained to him.

"Hyung I am broke how can I buy a gift for someone else?" Jeongguk asked as he had another excuse.

"Think about it like you are going to get a gift. What do you get some rich Secret Santa and he buys you like some Gucci shirt or Chanel's bag" Jin tried to convince him to come. Jeongguk scoffed at that thought.

"That person is my secret Santa not fucking sugar daddy. Anyways this is not the main problem,I can't skip my job"

"How about I talk to your manager? Namjoon is like my bestfriend,I can convince him?" Yoongi said as he shrugged as it was easy for him. Jeongguk knew he had no other excuse to miss now.

"I hate you guys,you guys are so persistent,fine I will come then" Jeongguk was defeated.
