Danny's pov...

Riley and I finally made a decision to give the werewolves a chance and go on a date with our mates. The Alpha and I are going on our date now, everyone in the pack seem really nice even though Riley and I don't have their marks they still accept us.

"Meet me outside once you get dressed for our date" Jackson tells me. I nod and get to the our room, I'm starting to fall for Jackson, but again the book that only someone who's a vampire, Werewolf and one human can read it, though I'm the only human that can read it. I walk into the room and went to the closet and I looked for a jumper. I found one and its plain black and I found a green jacket to go along with it.

I walk outside and Jackson was there waiting, he had a nice outfit on, which he had on when I was outside with the fire by everyone. I take his hand and hold it, I know this is how mates bound. Riley already left with her mate for their date. I get in the car with Jackson, the limo is huge. I didn't know what he has in store for our date, I just hope he isn't like most guys who take you out to a fancy restaurant to impress the girl, I'm not like that I don't care what we do on the date.

"I've looked through your file, after I first meet you and your not like most girls, you love horror movies, you hate country music..." Jackson says to me.

"Yeah, that is what I hear a lot from guys" I tell him.

He nods and hands me something. "What's this" I ask him nicely.

"A birthday gift, I know that's tomorrow I thought I could give you an early one, then another one tomorrow" Jackson tells me.

I smile and peck him on the cheek. "I'll open it tomorrow when you give me the other one" I tell him, he smiles and blushes little after I kissed him on the cheek, I blushed a little at this. Jackson started telling me stories about his family and the pack. From what I heard his pack is the strongest out of all packs.

We get to the restaurant. It's not fancy or anything, we walked inside and James was there sitting down with someone who looks happy with him. You can tell that she has been a vampire her whole life. Jackson and I sit away from them, Jackson also seen them across the room. Everything was going fine until James pulled me away from Jackson.

"Stay away from my soul mate" James yelled at Jackson having his fangs appear. A loud growl came from Jackson and turned into a wolf. I flipped James and back flipped away from them.

"James stop this at once, you love me not her" the girl says to James standing next to him.

"Back off Marie, I still love Danny" James barked at her, not looking at her only at Jackson.

"Well prince, Danny accepted me and my pack, but not my mark that will happen later when she's ready for it with her own decision" Jackson growled at him.

I call Riley letting her know what is going on the date, that someone from the pack needs to come and help before its get out of hand between James and Jackson. Riley and a few wolves showed up and pulled Jackson off James. Marie was crying now and looked at the mark on her wrist from James.

"James Matthew Thomas, if you don't want me and your children then we're through" Marie tells him, James looked at her and cried.

"I'm so sorry Marie, I don't know what came over me" James says to her crying, Marie walks over to him and smiles.

"It's okay, James I forgive you, I know you still have a little feelings for Danny I was just jealous since I'm carrying your kids" Marie tells him.

"How many kids are you having" I ask them, smiling that James has moved on.

"Twins, both girls" Marie tells me.

I nod and leave with Riley, Jackson and the others wolves that came with Riley. I look at Jackson, "sorry that our date got ruined because of James liking me" I say to Jackson holding his hand.

"It's okay love, thank you for calling Riley and having her get some help over here" Jackson says to me kissing me on the cheek. My cheeks go to bright red. Jackson looks at me and sees that Riley wants to talk to me alone so he gets in the limo and waits.

"Thanks Riley" I say to her hugging her.

"No problem, I have something to tell you" she says to me.

"What is it" I ash her, seeing that her mate scent is all over her.

"I'm going to accept John's mark" she tells me.

I look at her in shock and hug her more. I know she cares about my feelings, I care about her as well, I won't stop her from choosing John's mark. "That's great, I'm happy for you" I tell her smiling at her.

"You're not mad" she asks me.

I shake my head, then I tell that I'm thinking about letting Jackson mark me as well since I got to know him on this date. Riley smiles at me and goes back over to John and hugs him, then they leave. I get in the limo and smile at Jackson hugging him and leaning against his chest.

"So does this mean, you'll let me mark you" he asks me.

"Does this answer your question" I say to him kissing him on the lips.

Jackson smiles and kisses back and starts to put his mark on my neck. I loved the way wolves mark their mates, they don't do what vampires do suck your blood and all that. After what seems like eternity Jackson's mark was on my neck and it looked great there. When it comes to a full moon I'll turn into a werewolf, which is tomorrow on my birthday. I seen in books that when a werewolf comes out of hiding with all of the others they meet their mate when it comes close to the mates birthday and they hopefully turn into a wolf in their birthday if its a full moon.

James's pov...

I don't know what came over me back there. One minute I'm with Maire the next minute I'm trying to kill the werewolf that claims that Danny is his mate. Marie is right I still have feelings for Danny. We get back to the castle in the vampire world and my parents are there looking at Marie and I happily. Slaves were working on mine and Marie's thrones in the throne room. It could've been Danny next to me instead.

"Son, we heard what happened on your date and it can't happen again" my mother says to me.

"I couldn't help myself" I mumble to her.

"Your sister's soul mate is finally giving her a chance" my mother squealed happily. That's good to know when it took a lot of effort to get him to agree to visits and all that.

"Son, we're putting a war on the werewolves once again" my father tells me.

"What, why" I ask him, holding Marie's hand tightly.

"Those wolves have the person that can read the book, and we need Danny to win this war" my father tells me.
