I watched as the door closed behind Abba, a gentle smile still plastered on my face. The soft click of the latch was a subtle reminder that I was now alone. My gaze lingered on the door, lost in thought.

My reverie was interrupted by the ping of my phone on my bed. I turned to face the culprit – a notification from Instagram. Ariana Grande had shared a post.

The familiar logo brought a rush of memories, I hadn't logged into my socials for over a week!!! My followers must've thought I'm dead by now lol.

I hastily opened Instagram. The screen flooded with messages, making me roll my eyes.

I was met with an overwhelming influx of messages from my 2.9 billion followers. "Are you okay?" "What's wrong?" "We haven't seen you online in ages!" The concerns poured in, each one making me feel my self, I be cele oo hehehe sunan wani waka.

Just then, my phone pinged again. A message from @LunaNight95 flashed on the screen:"If you're really okay, do a live video."

I slid to the vanity table, my eyes locked onto the mirror and examined my face, ensuring every feature was flawless. Satisfied, I headed to the closet and selected a elegant, long hijab. Married woman style y'know.

Next, I applied a subtle coat of lip gloss, adding a hint of color to my lips. The subtle shine suited my mood.

With my appearance polished, I settled onto the plush bed, phone in hand. I took a deep breath, preparing for the live video.

"LunaNight95 wants to see if I'm okay," I mused, smiling.

"Let's give them a show." With a confident smile, I tapped the "Live" button on Instagram.

"Assalamu alaikum, everyone!" I began, my voice clear and warm. "I know it's been a while since I've been active. I just got married, and I'm enjoying some quality time with my hayaati, Abba."

The comments began pouring in – congratulatory messages, well-wishes, and eager questions.

The live video was in full swing, with comments and questions flooding in.

"Ihsan, congratulations on your marriage! How's married life?" @SarahaAli asked.

"Alhamdulillah, it's been good so far!" I replied with a smile.

"Where is the lucky guy?" @FatemahKhan inquired.

"Patience, my friends! You'll meet him soon," I teased, I don't know half of them but I still considered them friends.

"What's your favorite part about being married?" @AyeshaRashid asked.

"The love and companionship, of course!" I said, blushing.

"Does your husband know you're this beautiful?" @AmirahSaeed gushed.

I chuckled. "He should, since he's stuck with me now!"

Six questions in, and the comments were getting more enthusiastic.

"Is your husband really that handsome?" @JasmineJaved asked.

"WHERE IS YOUR HUSBAND?! We want to see him!" @LunaNight95 demanded eagerly, I chuckled a bit she's one of my loyal followers she's been following me since the beginning.

Just then, the bathroom door swung open, and Abba emerged, looking refreshed in his black jalabiya

I grinned mischievously. "You just came out of the bathroom in time hayaati. My followers are about to kee me for not introducing you" I laughed.

Abba raised an eyebrow, smiling.

"Who dares say that to my wife huh?" He asked appearing on camera

I turned to Abba, who was now standing beside me. "What do you think, guys? Isn't he handsome?"

Abba chuckled, shaking his head. He sat down and picked me up, making me sit on his laps, he loves doing that.

"Let him speak!" @FatemahKhan urged.

"Aww, he's shy!" @SarahaAli cooed.

I handed the phone to Abba. "Say hi to my lovely followers!"

Abba's deep voice filled the live video. "Assalamu alaikum, everyone! It's nice to finally meet you all."

The comments exploded with excitement.

"He's so handsome!"

"Mashallah, perfect couple!"

"Hayaati, you're stealing the show!" I glared at him playfully

"He looks stunning in that black jalabia!" @LunaNight95 gushed.

"I love his fair skin!" @AmirahSaeed cooed.

"His beard is everything!" @JasmineJaved swooned.

"You're so lucky, Ihsan! He's a keeper!" @SarahaAli exclaimed.

"I love his hair, even though it's shaved now" @FatemahKhan noted.

The compliments poured in, each one making Abba's smile wider.

I intervened, laughing. "Okay, okay! I think he's blushing enough!"

"Okay let's do a Q&A" I said.

"Here's one: What's the most romantic gesture Abba has done for you since you got married?"  @eiky.love_11

"He thinks he's too perfect," @NadiaSulaiman sniped.

"Overhyped couple," @RahmaAli grumbled.

I ignored the negativity, focusing on the love and support.

"He washed the dishes after I ate" I chuckled and he smiled.

"I have a question! What do you guys think Abba and I should do for our first anniversary?"

The suggestions ranged from romantic getaways to charity events.

Abba leaned in, whispering, "I have an idea."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Let's give them a baby" Ya rabbi I dropped my phone and his laughed boomed

I picked my phone after half of the embarrassment drained away

@ZahraaOmar asked, "What's the sweetest thing Abba has done for you, Ihsan?"

I blushed. "He surprised me with my favorite dessert last night."

@RahmaAbdullah inquired, "What's Abba's go-to romantic gesture?"

Abba chuckled. "I think it's surprising her with small meaningful gifts."

@AishaNasir teased, "Do you two have a couples' song?"

I giggled. "Yes, it's only girl in the world by rihanna."

"Because she's the only girl in the world for me" Abba smiled.

@JaweriaKamal asked, "Who's the better cook?"

Abba grinned. "Ihsan, hands down."

@FatimaRashid wondered, "What's the most spontaneous thing you've done together?"

I smiled mischievously. "That's a secret."

@NouraManal commented, "What about Jamal?"

I ignored the question.

The sound of the door opening downstairs filled the room.

"Looks like we have some celebrity guests" Abba said, smiling.

"Did you miss the gang?" I asked our followers.

@ZahraaOmar responded, "YES, I MISS SADIYA!"

@RahmaAbdullah chimed in, "I MISS AMAL!"

@AishaNasir surprised everyone with, "I MISSSSS HANAN!"

I grinned, and continued the live video, phone still in hand.

"Let's go downstairs and meet them," I said, taking Abba's hand.

As we descended, anticipation built up. The comments section blew up:

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" @FatimaRashid asked.

"WHO'S THERE?!" @LaylaAlvi exclaimed.

"IS IT AMAL AND SADIYA OR JAMAL!?!" @JaweriaKamal guessed.

Reaching the bottom, I smiled at familiar faces – Amal and Sadiya. I wonder where they slept yesterday

"Hey, girls!" I said, waving.

Sadiya and Amal exchanged warm smiles. "Hey, Ihsan! Hello ango"

But then, my eyes landed on an unexpected figure – Jamal, standing beside them.

"Jamal? What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised.

Abba's grip on my hand tightened.

The comments section went wild:

"JAMAL'S THERE?!" @AishaNasir shrieked.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" @RahmaAbdullah exclaimed.

"AWKWARD!" @ZahraaOmar commented.

I turned my gaze from him to the girls

"Ya Maami?" I aksed.

"Alhamdulilah she looks better" Sadiya answered heading to the kitchen

The comments section flooded with concern:

"OH MY GOD, HOW'S YOUR MOM DOING?" @ZahraaOmar asked.

"IS SHE RECOVERING WELL?" @RahmaAbdullah inquired.

"PRAYING FOR HER HEALTH!" @AishaNasir commented.

"MAAMI'S AWAKE?!" @FatimaRashid exclaimed.

"ALHAMDULILLAH!" @LaylaAlvi thanked.

Amal added, "She's still recovering, but we're hopeful."

Sadiya nodded in agreement after taking a sip of her soda. "The doctors are optimistic."

Jamal's presence still lingered, but the focus shifted to Maami's health.

Abba's supportive grip on my hand remained.

Amal raised an eyebrow. "Are you doing a live video right now?"

I touched my forehead, laughing. "I even forgot!"

Abba chuckled.

I held up my phone, showing the live video still streaming.

"Oops, looks like our followers are witnessing everything!"

Amal's eyes widened.

I playfully shoved the phone in Amal's face.

"Amal, do you want to talk to them?"

Amal the forever queen of drama smiled mischievously and rolled her eyes.

"Hey, guys! I mean I know I'm irresistible but chill, you will make Ihsan feel bad" Amal pouted dramatically.

The comments section erupted:

"AMAL'S TAKING OVER!" @ZahraaOmar joked.

"WE LOVE AMAL!" @RahmaAbdullah exclaimed.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?" @AishaNasir asked.

Sadiya chuckled, shaking her head.

Jamal's expression remained unreadable, he turned and left. To where? I don't know, maybe he's just gonna stay outside for a while and come back. I should talk to him.

"Hand over the phone, Amal," I said, laughing.

Amal grinned. "No way, I'm taking control!"

I snatched my phone before she could protest anymore.

"Thank you guys so much for watching this live video!" I said, smiling.

"It's been an emotional ride, and I've missed hanging out with you guys. But its time to say adios."

The followers protested.

"NO, DON'T END IT!" @FatimaRashid pleaded.

"WE WANT MORE!" @LaylaAlvi demanded.

"NOT FAIR!" @JaweriaKamal complained.

But I laughed, waving goodbye.

"Until next time, stay blessed! "

The live video ended, leaving my followers eager for more.

As the screen went dark, I exhaled, relieved.

"Sannu cele" Abba teased and I laughed smacking his arm

"Abeg go do your love somewhere else" Amal said plopping onto the couch.

"Yes, we don't want our virgin eyes to get spoiled" Sadiya backed Amal up as she shoved some chocolates into her mouth

"Wife, I have to go. I just got an email reminding me of the meeting I have in 2 hours" He smiled sadly.

"Awn its okay, I also want to meet Dadaa" I squeezed his hand a bit, hoping I can suck in some of his courage.

"I will get going, bye" He kissed my forehead, picked his keys from the center table and waved the girls and I bye.

"Come join us lover girl, we're gonna watch spongebob" Amal said patting the space close to her and I hurriedly plopped onto the couch.

"By the way Hanan just texted and was like she saw your live video and felt like crying" Sadiya laughed.

"Cambridge na joke" Says Amal and we laughed.

"Shhh it starting" Sadiya shushed just as spongebobs opening song started playing.
