It's a gentle kiss, his lips soft against mine. He runs his tongue along my bottom lip and I am confused at first but then he slips his tongue inside my mouth. I let out a quiet moan wrapping my arms around his neck. He grabs my hips and pulls me down onto his lap and I squeak and I can feel him smirking against my mouth. He uses my hair to pull my head back to deepen the kiss. I let my hands roam around his body feeling his hard abs and chest. His hand explore my body as well.

All too soon I hear a knock on the door and I scramble off his lap. I rake my fingers through my hair trying to make it look neater and my shirt had ridden up a little so I quickly pull it down. Leo is just sitting there staring at me. His hair is a mess, his cheeks are rosy and his lips are red and swollen. Great, I probably look exactly the same as him.

"Open the door right now you two, I don't want any funny business," I hear Axles voice say. I rush over to the door to be greeted by Axles face. "Keep the door open." He states and I just look back at Leo who is sitting there glaring at Axel.

"Well anyway I expect you to leave by nightfall." He says and then walks away down the hall.

Leo is grumbling to himself as I walk back over to the bed,"Can I lay with you?" I ask, my cheeks flushing red with embarrassment. Leo nods, scooting over on the bed and lifting up the covers for me to slip in.

I lay next to him on the bed, the kiss we had still replaying through my head. I turn so my back is towards him so I can watch if Axel decides to come back up. Leo slips his arm around my waist and pools me so that my back is touching his chest. Soon his breathing becomes more even and I can tell he is asleep.

"Rise and shine darling," I hear Leo whisper in my ear and I jump. He is standing in front of me with a smirk on his face as he looks down at me. Oh god, I wasn't supposed to fall asleep.
I quickly sit up and get out of bed.

"What time is it?" I groan out.

Leo only smiles and says,"Time to start going before Axle kicks us out."

I groan again as Leo starts dragging me out of the room and down the steps I don't see Axle anywhere as Leo opens the front door quietly and we slip out.

"Did you already say bye to him?" I ask as Leo starts untying our horse.

"No, I don't want to wake him up, he knew we were leaving anyway."

"Ok," I say unsurely as Leo gets up on the horse and offers me his hand. I take it as he pulls me up. We start riding towards my family and I am the most nervous I have ever been in my entire life.

It's almost dawn when Leo pulls on the reins of the horse to stop us. He looks back at me with a pained expression on his face. We are about thirty minutes away from the castle.

"I can't go any farther," He says simply and I furrow my eyebrows.

"Why?"

"Everyone thinks I'm a serial killer, they will kill me the second they see me. You are going to need to walk the rest of the way."

"But-" The truth was I had no idea what I was doing at all. I didn't know how to hold a knife let alone kill someone. I wasn't brave enough to go against my family that was for sure, and second of all my family had magic. Leo rummaged around in the saddle bag and pulled out a knife handing it to me,"Cleo, you don't have to do this."

"No, I have too."

"I will be waiting here when you get back, Ok?" I nod my head and get off the horse. I start walking and I can feel him watching me.

"Bye Leo," I whisper to myself.

It's quiet in the town probably since its early. The only thing that I can really hear are the birds chirping. I usually only hear birds chirping like this in spring, it's unlike them to be this active in fall. I'm only wearing some simple sweatpants and a sweatshirt but it keeps me warm nonetheless. I look down at the knife in my hand, its hilt is plain metal with a design carved into it. I never imagined weapons like this to be so heavy. I tuck the dagger into my pants waistband hoping that it won't stab me. I know for a fact that the guards probably won't let me in if I am carrying a weapon.

It's almost an hour later when I finally reach the gates that open up into the castle. I ran into a few people on my way there who smiled and waved at me. I guess know one seemed to know that I had been missing for a whole month.

At the gate I see two guards standing there. They bowed and opened the gates without a second though. Idiots, I thought to myself not that I was complaining though. I started walking up the steep slope towards the castle. The castle where my family lives, but my mothers dead, my sister disappeared, my dad is a psychopath, and my brother has no emotions. I tell myself over and over again that they need to die, that if they dont the world will keep living like this.

The world would keep living with slaves and maids and people like me that were sold. The world will keep living with children as workers. I think back to that little blond child that had been at the auction place. After I was finished here I would go and save her, I needed to.

Soon I made it to the palace door where another guard was standing and he opened it without hesitation. I walked in cautiously looking around, there was a little corridor that I was standing in and a big brass door at the end of the corridor led to the throne room where I knew my father probably was.

I slowly walked towards the door but was stopped in my tracks when I heard something whistling through the air. I quickly jumped to the side as I dagger grazed past my ear. I spun around to see my brother standing there smiling at me.

"Long time no see," He says and all I could think about was that my own brother had not hesitated to try kill me. He grabbed another dagger from his belt and threw it at me. I dogged but barley as it grazed the side of my leg. My sweatpants now cut open.

"We were so proud of you when we received that letter about the location of that stupid serial killer."

"I put you in that sewer knowing you were going to scream for help and someone would find you and sell you."

"Why wouldn't you just kill me?" I ask weakly.

"It's more fun to see you suffer before I kill you." He says with a disgusting smirk on his face.

"But-I'm your sister," I forgot about coming here to kill him, I forgot everything.

"It doesn't matter, you were always weak just like your older sister."

"What did you do to her?"

"Same thing I did to you, but we never heard from her again sadly." A single tear slips out of my eye which only made my brother laugh. "See your still weak, I thought being with a serial killer would toughen you up."

He starts walking towards me," How did you survive the fire? We found your serial killer's body but when we didn't find yours we were surprised." They must have found Beth's body, How would they mistake her for Leo though?

He took another step until he was about a foot away from me. I knew what I had to do. I wasn't sure I could do it though. I thought of everything he did and everything he could do in a futile attempt to make myself want to kill him, some strength returned.

" I'm sorry things had to end this way, but I'm not your little weak princess anymore," I grabbed the dagger from my sweatpants but before I could do anything a dagger went through my brothers throat and he fell to the ground with a look of shock on his face.
