It was now 8:00 pm on a Sunday night. I just received a text. I picked up my phone. It was from Blake. It said 'Hey, Grace. I found a good movie for us to watch, but I want it to be a surprise. How about I come over around 8:30?

Grace: Sure, 8:30 is perfect!

BooBear: Awesome. See you then, Darling

Grace: Okay, Bye Lou.

BooBear: Bye.

I stood up and put my phone on my desk in my room. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. You're probably thinking 'Why would you brush your teeth?' Well, I want to brush my teeth so I don't have bad breath. After I brushed my teeth, I went to my closet and took out the dress. I put it on. Then I went to my bathroom again to get my hairbrush. I brushed my hair. I decided to put on a little makeup.

I applied some foundation and concealer. Then, I added a little pinkish-tan eyeshadow and some pink lip gloss. I put my earrings in and added some jewelry. I put on my crystal necklace, a bracelet, and a couple of rings.

I looked in the mirror that was on my wall. I actually don't look that ugly. So, I don't know what those kids back in Elementary school were talking about. I'm a little fat though. So I think they were right about that.

I look at myself again.

No, Nope. I'm definitely ugly.

I hear the doorbell ring, I grab my phone and a mint. I put the mint into my mouth. I chewed it quickly. I had finished the mint by the time I got downstairs.

Now my mouth will smell even better. Just in case we kiss or anything.

I turned the corner, once I got downstairs. My mum had just opened the door. Blake was in the doorway. He was wearing a gray button up shirt with the first two buttons undone with black denim jeans that were ripped near his knees. And he had a red rose in his hand. His hair was a little messy and looked super soft.

But, his messy, soft hair is cute.

I started walking towards him. Once he saw me he smiled. I smiled back. I was now standing in front of him. We both blushed. "You look amazing, Grace," he said. "Thank you, Blake, you do too." I said.

"Well, you kids go have fun," My mum said. "Okay. We will," I said. "Nice meeting you, Mrs. Walker," Blake said. "Nice meeting you too Blake," my mum said, closing the front door, as I exited. He handed me the rose that was in his hand, "For you, lovely" he said. "Aww, thanks Boo Bear, you didn't have to get me a rose," I said taking the rose from his hand. "I know, but I wanted to," he said. I blushed.

Blake put his arm around me. I felt safe and loved.

We took the double-decker bus. You're probably thinking 'Why would you take a bus to go on a date?' Well, we sat on the upper level of the bus. And that was pretty romantic.

We sat down on the seats of the upper level of the bus. And he put his arm around me again. He looked at me, and I blushed. He looked into my eyes and kissed me.

I love it when this happens. When he looks into my eyes. When we make eye contact. My blue eyes looking into his gray eyes, it just feels right.

I kissed him back.

I put my arms around his neck to deepen the kiss, moments later we pulled away.

I decided to tell him how I felt.

"I like it when you do that" I blushed. "Do what?" Blake says sarcastically "This?" Blake asked while kissing me again. I kiss back. "Yeah, yeah that," I said smiling. "Yeah, I like it too," he said. "We've been kissing a lot, even though we just met two days ago," I said. "I know, but I like it," Blake said. "I do too, It's just that I barely know anything about you," I said. "Okay, well how about after the movie, we can go to the beach and sit down and tell each other stuff about ourselves?" Blake suggested. That was a pretty good idea. "Yeah, sure. That's a good idea, Blakey," I said. "Thanks," he said. "Your Welcome."

About 10 minutes later, after talking. We arrived at the movie theater. We got off the bus, we walked side by side and he took my hand and held it. So now we were holding hands. I looked at him and blushed.

We got inside and went to the ticket booth, he covered my eyes with his hand, so he could keep what movie we were going to see, a surprise. We grabbed the tickets and went to the food area. He took his hand off of my face. We got popcorn and a soda to share.

We're sharing one straw, I'm excited.

We got our food and started walking towards the movie room. We walked into the room, and there were some people there but not a lot. We chose to sit in the first row. The movie had just started.

The movie was 'Grease'. "Oh my gosh, I love this movie!" I said. "Me too, it's my favorite!" Said Blake. We both smiled. I leaned my head into his shoulder, and he put his arm around me, again.

We were about halfway through the movie when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around. It was a boy. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and he had a nice smile.

"Hey, your Grace right?" he asked in an Irish accent. Blake heard his voice and turned around. "Yeah, I am. Do I know you?" I said. "Maybe, I'm Ashton. Ashton Beckett. I go to your school" he said. "Oh, right. Hi," I said. "Hi," he laughed. "Oh, hey Ashton," Said Blake. "Hey, Blake, what are you doing here?" Ashton asked. I was confused. Did they know ew h other or something?

"Oh, Grace and I are on a date," Said Blake, "That's nice," said Ashton. "Do you guys know each other?" I asked them. "Yeah actually, we met yesterday. Ashton showed me around and introduced me to people. We're mates now." Said Blake. "Yeah, Blake is a great guy!" Said Ashton. "He definitely is," I said.

"Well, I'll let you guys continue watching the movie, and have fun on the rest of your date!" Said Ashton. "Thanks, Ash," Blake said. "Yeah, thanks," I said. "Your Welcome" Ashton said as Blake and I turned around to face the screen once again. "Ash?" I asked Blake while I ate some popcorn. "Yeah, that's the nickname I gave him," Blake said while taking a sip of the soda, then he handed me the cup and I took a sip of the soda as well. I just drank after him, cool. "Okay," I said and turned my attention back to the screen, with my head on Blake's shoulders.

Soon, the movie was over. Blake stood up first and reached his hand out for my hand, I took his hand. We were now holding hands. We threw out the empty popcorn bucket and cup. And walked out of the building. We walked to the beach that was a couple of minutes away. We were still holding hands.

We arrived at the beach. I took off my sandals and held them in my other hand. We walked closer to the water. We sat down on the sand, and I put my sandals on the ground. We let our grip let go, of holding hands. And there we stood, under the moonlight, as we stared at the sea.

It was so peaceful and romantic.

We looked at each other. We leaned in and kissed. I put my hands on his head, playing with his soft fluffy hair and he had his hands around my waist.

There we were, two teenagers on the beach at 10:00 at night, kissing in the moonlight.

It was nice.

It then became around 10:30 at night, so we decided to start heading back. I texted my mum, letting her know that we were on the way back.

Grace: We're on our way back now. After the movie, we stopped at the beach to look at the ocean and the nice moonlight.

Mum: Okay, no worries. Thanks for letting me know.

Grace: You're Welcome. I'll be home soon.

I put my sandals back on.

We got back on the double-decker bus and sat on the upper layer of the bus again. He put his arm around me, and I put my head into his chest. He smiles. I smile back.

I couldn't be happier right now.
