Jake's here!

I put on the sandals that I wore on my very first date with Blake and started walking downstairs. "Hey, lovely!" Jake said. Finally, he said my nickname again, and around my mum. He never called me 'Lovely' or 'Darling' when we were around my mum. Sarah and I never really figured out why Jake only called me those things when we were alone. Maybe, he was just nervous. Or maybe he's never been in an actual relationship before.

"Hey, Jake!" I said. I think I may have sounded too excited. Jake took my hand. "Goodbye, Mrs. Walker," Jake said as we started walking away from the house. "Bye, Mum," I said. "Bye, Grace. Bye Jake," my mum said. "I took my drivers test last week, and I passed it, and my mum and dad finally bought me a car, so I can drive." Jake  said as we walked up to his new car in front of our house. I got to the passenger's side car door, and he opened the car door for me. So sweet! The band 5SOS (Five Seconds of Summer) came on the radio! I love them! "I love this song!" I said. "No way! Me too!" Jake said. "Wow, we really do have so much in common," I said. "Yeah, we really do," Jake said. We sang along to the lyrics while Jake continued driving. 

Then, Jake parked the car. He told me to close my eyes so I did. He got out of the car and opened the passengers side car door, he grabbed my hand, and helped me out of the car, he put his hands over my eyes and turned me in a different direction. He then took his hands off of my face, and said "open your eyes." I opened my eyes, and in front of us was a fancy restaurant! I smiled. He smiled back. "Wow, Jake thank you so much! This is so sweet!" I said. "Of course, and you're welcome," he said as he took my hand again, and led us both into the fancy restaurant. The restaurant was named 'Destiny.' I really like that name. Jake said that the restaurant served amazing food and drinks.

We walked up to a table, there was a woman, she was a waitress. "Hi, do you have a reservtion?" She asked. Jake had made us a reservation. "Yes," Jake said. "Under what name?" The waitress asked. "Shepherd" Jake said. Wait, hold up! Jake put us under the name 'Shepherd!' Awww! "Okay, follow me, right this way, Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd," she said as she started walking towards the back of the restaurant. We followed her. Aww, I'm 'Mrs. Shepherd' So cool!

Although, I prefer Golden Retrievers...but I love all dogs. 

I actually have a golden retriever named Keeva. 

The waiter pointed to a table and Jake pulled the chair out for me and we both sat down. "Thank you," I said to Jake. "Your welcome," Jake said smiling. I smiled back. I looked at the waitress's name tag and it said 'Stephanie.' "Would you guys like anything to drink?" Stephanie asked. "I'll just have water, please" I said. "Of course," Stephanie said. "Make that two waters please," Jake said. "Alright, I'll make that two," Stephanie said. "Thank you, Stephanie," I said. "You're welcome, I'll get the waters, I'll be right back," she said. "Okay," Jake said. When she went to get the waters, Jake and I looked at the menu.

About two minutes later, Stephanie returned to our table with some water. She placed a cup of water in front of me, and another cup of water in front of Jake. She took out a notepad and a pen. "Now, what can I get for you guys?" She asked. "Can I get the asian sesame chicken salad, please?" I asked. "Of course," she said and wrote it down on the note pad. She looked at Jake. "And what can I get for you?" She asked Jake. "Can I get the chicken parmesan, please?" Jake asked. "Sure, that's one of my personal favorites," she wrote down Jake's order. "Would you guys like some bread while your meal is being prepared?" Stephanie asked. "Sure," Jake said.

Shortly after, she brought us some freshly baked bread and they already had butter on them! Wow, I haven't been to too many restaurants that put butter on the bread for you. So that's cool.

Jake and I enjoyed some buttered bread, while we waited for our food to come to us. Several minutes later, our food finally arrived at our table. About an hour passed, and we finally finished eating and talking. Jake paid for our meal even though I insisted that we split the bill, but he said not to worry about it. So sweet!  Now, were about to go back home. We left the restaurant and walked back to the car, he opened the passenger's side car door for me, again.

He is such a gentleman! But, then again, so is Blake. I don't know what to do anymore. But, I still have time to think about who I'm going to choose. It's just going to be a very difficult decision to make, but it needs to be done. 

When we arrived back at my house, Jake walked me to the door. "Good night, Lovely," he said to me and kissed my cheek. He walked back to his car and all I could think of that entire date, was Blake. I felt bad about it, so I didn't tell Jake.  I don't know what to do. I really don't. But, I will have to make up my mind, by the end of the dance next week.

I opened the front door, and told my mum everything that had happened. Then I went straight to bed.
