Changes and choosing

Anthony's POV

I watched as Rose agreed to truly becoming herself. Her father had bitten himself then instructed her to drink his blood. I noticed the changes in her like her teeth had gotten longer and sharper even her eyes changed color. It looked as if she was silently screaming then she stopped and looked down at her lap.

I could hear heavy panting and I didn't like the sound of it. I was about to try and talk to her father when all of a sudden her head snapped up and I saw her eyes were a glowing silver. I froze on the spot because I saw this look in her eyes. It was the look of a hungry predator starring at its prey.

I was thinking of moving till I saw her shift into a stance of an animal that was about to attack. I watched as she lunged at me. I grabbed her around the waist ready to pull her off till a "STOP!! you don't want to do that!!" came from her father. "Why can't I stop her?!" I quickly asked. "You shouldn't try to stop her because she has already found the type of blood she prefers and it's yours." he said matter of fact.

I starred at him for a few seconds till I felt a tongue lick my neck. I shuddered a bit as she started to test the area of my neck to see where she was going to bite. When she found it she took her time to sink her fangs into my skin. I felt my skin give way and let her fangs pass through. She sighed in pleasure and began to drink. I started to feel a warmth spread throughout my body and I tightened my grip on her waist.

When she stopped feeding and finally released me, she licked the wound closed. I started to feel a tingling sensation on my chest and I ignored it till it started to burn like fire. I set Rose to the side and pulled my shirt off not caring that others were there or that my mom was glaring at me.

I looked at my chest to see a glowing mark that look like a black rose with a silver chain that had a R hanging from it. I starred at it then looked at Rose. "What is this?!" I asked, shocked. "Allow me to explain." her father said, calmly. "You are now Rose's chosen one and this happened because she found your blood type the only one she prefers and in a way she chose you as her mate." he said calmly then turned serious. "Oh and by the way if you reject her I will personally kill, no offense taken." he said while looking at me then to my parents at the when he spoke last part.

"None taken Richard besides I believe my wife has already taken a liking to Rose even though we just met today." Dad spoke politely and looked at my mother happily. I starred at them all still in shock as if they decided my fate. "Woah!! guys you can't just..." I trailed off as I felt something rub against my chest.

I looked down and saw Rose starring at me with big dark gray eyes that had tears in the corner. "S-sorry master I d-didn't me-mean to m-make you m-mad." she stuttered. I felt my face soften and I place my hand on her head and petted her. She started to purr as the tears stopped building up.

Rose's POV

I thought I had made the right choice of choosing my master as my mate but I was wrong and I felt sadness overcome me as I thought he was going to reject me. I felt like crying so I did the only thing I could think of, I rubbed my head against his chest as i felt the tears building up. I stuttered out my apology and it had earned me a pat to the head and I purred in happiness thinking he wasn't going to reject me.

I heard a sigh of happiness come from someone and looked up to see everyone starring at us and I blushed then tried to hide. "Aw you guys look so cute!!!" squealed Kristy. "I have to agree with you Kristy." mom said, smiling happily. I didn't know what to do with myself and I felt so embarrassed. I settled for just cuddling into Anthony's side. As I laid there everything started to get unfocused and hazy. I tried to shake the feeling of sleep but I failed not before hearing a dark voice whisper.

"You will be mine."
