Okay, so I have been dealing with alot of crazy shit in my life and facing mad Marie was no different.

I have heard people say that mad Marie was once a great seer, she could have seen future events before they came to pass and predict alot of things. All part of her talents as an Oracle, a very popular one in her time, when she was young and mated.

The former Alpha had also told me bedtime stories as a kid about how miraculous and great she was. He also said that mad Marie had also predicted the birth of his son with his mate Marian and that many came from different packs to see her.

Vibrant and beautiful she was once upon a time, but sadly no more. After her mate passing, slowly be surely her mind and wolf went with her other half.

Marie got bitter, angry and crazy. And with that came the name Mad Marie, once great Oracle now a shallow, breaken down woman, who is only a shell of her former self.

I didn't think my day could get any worst at I watch mad Marie with her fuming crazy eyes coming at me.

"You will cause the death of us all," Mad Marie screeched. "You are the reason the demon is coming."

"What's that suppose to mean?" I asked her, even though I was scared in this moment I had to push pass my feelings and asked what she meant. Some pack members had gathered around to hear what mad Marie's loud fuss was about.

"Don't you get it girl?" She had her hands out stretched towards me, only a few feet away. "I'll show you, girl. I'll show you that you only bring death and destruction"

As I back away from her, a voice stopped her from advancing any further. "Get away from the girl, Marie." The voice that spoke was stern. "Leave the girl alone"

Turning towards the voice I saw my only friend, family and guardian.

"This girl will be the death of us all, she has caused the devil to raise, to exact retribution," Mad Marie pointed a accusing finger at me as she screamed.

"Quite letting nonsense fall from your lips Marie...." Marie interrupted him by saying, "You should know I speak the truth Leviticus, this girl will kill us all"

"The truth Marie?" Levi questions her as he stepped closer from where he was on the porch a mintue ago. "Your mind seem to be worst off then we thought. How can a human girl kill us all, Marie? That simply doesn't make sense"

"She is the reason why the demon was raised, Leviticus. A demon that will kill us all." Levi still didn't look convinced at Marie's words and I can bet my facial expression didn't look convinced either. "Have you forgotten I was once a great seer Leviticus, a great Oracle?"

"You have that right Marie, you were ONCE a great seer and Oracle. But no more," Levi told her emphasizing once. He was now standing in front of me blocking me from her view, his way of protecting me. "And we all know demons don't exist"

Marie seem to be growing frustrated and angrier that Levi wasn't taking her word for it. As I peer over Levi's shoulders the glare that Marie pins me with leaves a bad taste in my mouth and fear in my stomach.

"Believe what you want Leviticus, but I assure you I am speaking the truth. You should all heed my warnings and pray tell that the monster I saw in my visions don't come for us all." As Marie spoke she turned glazing in each of our eyes letting her warning sink deep.

Mad Marie's words left me confused and shaken as she turned and walked away whispering to herself without looking back.

I am not confused about the words that were spoken, but I am confused and shaken about whether she was speaking the truth or not and the fact that she said a demon was coming.

I thought the only supernatural beings that existed were only werewolves and vampires, but demons?

Damn, maybe Marie as pass all the stages of insanity and can never come back anywhere close to being sane again.

But what if her crazy words are true?

What if you'll end up being the death of them all?

My subconscious plagues me with all these thoughts, but I shut it down before I get a headache from a obvious upcoming argument with my own mind.

'Marie is just a crazy one time Oracle, that used to have visions and could predict the future. She is just a crazy old bat who wants to scare you because no one in this pack likes you. That's how she got her name right? Mad Marie. Yes, yes! She's nothing but crazy.' I spoke to myself in my mind, trying to convience myself I should not feel scared by her words.

That they are just what Levi had said ' Nonsense'.

But who am I kidding?

I am scared that the look behind her crazy eyes may hold some truth to her words.

I am scared that the nauseating feeling that combines with fear at the pit of my stomach could be evidence that her words as some truth to it.

Just as my thoughts are about to take a deeper turn, I feel a hand on my shoulder that as me jumping before I became fully consumedin my thoughts.

"Hey, hey." Levi bends so that we are on eye level. As my eyes focus on his face, the worried look in his eye tells me how much he is concerned for my well being. "Marie is just loosing it some more, don't take anything that mad goat says to heart. She is just trying to scare you"

A chuckle leaves me at Levi calling mad Marie an mad goat. "There it is.. the smile I love to see on my little Rose's face"

"I am not so little anymore uncle," I tell Levi pouting. He as been calling me that from as long as I can remember. Levi is the only one in this pack that loves, cares and protects me. He has been my guardian since the only family I had left was killed.

"You will always be my little flower Rose no matter how old you get," Levi's words soothe the fear I had been feeling as the thoughts from before is pushed to the back of my mind.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." I said casually as if unaffected, but inside his words caused warmth and love to spread to my heart knowing someone cared.

The smile he caused slipped from my face as his face became serious as he took a step closer to me. I bit confused at what he was about to do, so I stood still. Levi took a lock of my hair sniffing it.

Me being the stupid me hadn't realized just yet what Levi was smelling for until he asked in a furious tone with his eye blazing, "Why the hell on earth are you covered in the blood of a goat?"

And me being me the only thing to flow through my mind at his question was, 'Oh, so that's what that was.'
