"Lucy, we have to leave soon!" Father shouted as I was still in my room. I was going to miss Italy. "Coming!" I yell back, I don't know why we yell. We're vampires, we have super hearing. I speed out of my room into the living room. There sat my father and my uncles, "hi dad." I say while shoving Caius' feet off the other side of the couch to sit down. Caius bares his fangs at me but puts his feet down.

"Lucinda, lovely to see you." Marcus says and turns the page in his book. I turn my head to read the title, Dracula. "Nice book." I tell him with a laugh and he gives me a small smile. Marcus is a man of very little words, but he's definitely my favorite. "My daughter!" Aro smiles sickly and grabs my hand. He smiles more genuinely before letting my hand go.

I drop my hand to my side just as Jane and Alec enter, "Lucy!" Jane yells out with a smirk. She plops down next to me as Alec wraps his arm around my neck and gives me a light hug. "Why can't I go to Nevermore?" Jane asks and Aro rolls his eyes, "you're part of the Volturi." I say answering for my father. Jane huffs as the clock tolls loudly signaling that it was time to go.

I hiss silently as my eyes make contact with the sun. "Lucy, I have a gift for you." My father says as we were settled into the car. He hands me a box with pretty wrapping. "Heidi wrapped it, didn't she?" I ask with a laugh and he nodded. I pull the bow slowly and lift the top off and see an array of blood bags. "Dad! Is this, this is human blood." I say as I sniff the box and can practically feel the human blood on my tongue.

He gives me a sinister smile as Demetri takes the box to put it in a cold case. The car came to a stop and Felix opened the door for me and helped me down, "always a gentleman." I say and he smiles at me. I grab my big ass hat to block my skin from the sun. I walk with my dad and the guard to the entrance of the airport. We boarded the private jet and we were off to Nevermore once again.
