~Twelve~Part Two

Jimi
Jimi closed her eyes and focused on good memories. Slowly she felt a soft tingle on her knee and knew it was a success. The cut that had been there moments ago was gone. She opened her shocking green eyes and gazed upward at Tyra.
"So... you said you are like me?" It was twelve o clock and the two girls were in a small school bathroom after Jimi had seen Tyra show a hint of her power. Jimi could just... sense these things. The question was intertwined with hope that she wasn't alone. Tyra nodded slowly.
She took a deep breath and looked into the small mirror on the side. Her plain school clothes turned into a floral dress that complimented her curves perfectly. Her hair was now a beautiful ombré and her features were perfectly pronounced on a now tan face. Her eyes were wider and a deep blue color. She looked back at Jimi and a gasp escaped her.
"Well that makes my power seem lame." She joked around and Tyra laughed. The thing was, her laugh was different too. When she spoke it was like another person had taken control of her body. She looked at Jimi's still shocked face and took a few steps across the room. The thing was, she wasn't accustomed to heels. They got the best of the poor girl and she went crashing into the moldy tile wall.
"Ew!" She exclaimed while Jimi choked on her bursts of laughter. Both of them lifted their eyes on the door to a harsh knocking. Tyra, unable to shift back to normal in time, started melting back to her former appearance just as the door was opened.
Reed
Reed smiled wide and winked at one of the girls. She blushed bright red and ran away to tell her friends. He was a big deal like that. He had two backpacks swung around his shoulder and his jacket draped on one of the two girls walking besides him. And he hardly broke a sweat either! He already had two minuses because of his habit of flirting with cuties he wasn't supposed too. All of the cuties were signs he couldn't talk too... It seemed no fair. Anyway, he had to be careful. The red head to his left was definitely not compatible with him, and this time getting caught meant getting locked up. Sure, he could get a lower class but he would really rather just do his sentence. He smiled at the red head and she looked back. She wasn't into him like others, but she stuck around and he could of sworn he saw a hint of pink on her cheeks.
"The light gives you the best highlights.." He said dreamily and the girl winked at him. Talk about reversed roles, but he could feel his heart flutter. Two class periods went by and soon it would be gym time. He was so ready to dominate in track and field. He smiled, strolling to his next class. He caught sight of an officer. They had been on his case for a while. Reed spun around a corner, and stilling himself, he disappeared into the wall. The officer looked puzzled as to where he had gone and Reed almost laughed. After a couple more seconds he shifted again and began to walk to gym. He felt a tap on his shoulder and spun around to see his new obsession looking up at him with shining grey eyes. He smiled and she fell into pace with him.
"Gym?" She asked him.
"Yup! How did you know?" Reed was honestly surprised at her observation.
She rolled her eyes.
"Y'know I'm in your gym class..."
"O-oh. Welll... sorry?" Reed stuttered. His memory was that of a goldfish with a mental disorder.
Terrible. He was about to round a corner when he ran right into a patrolling officer. One look and he knew there was no escaping this one...
Kyros
Deep breaths
In and out
Kyros stared down the prissy whore who had just picked on his little sister and knew that he had to shut her up. But also knew getting in one more fight would send him to jail. The only thing to do was to calm down.
Ira scrambled to her feet, sniffing, and put on a steeled expression. She looked at Kyros and nodded her head.
"I can take this." She said. Rage made her voice low and gravelly and her expression could make almost any kid run. With the exception of the dumb brunette in front of them.
"Come on, come at me!" She said snidely to Ira, not expecting the small girl to go through with her earlier claim. Ira turned and slowly took a step away amidst the insults of being called weak. She was just putting her foot on the ground when she turned on heel and threw her fist into the girl's gut with sickening speed. Kyros had to stifle a smile, and it didn't work too well. The bully lurched and doubled over, trying multiple times to regain her composure but failing. After twenty seconds she looked up at Ira's satisfied smirk and kicked out her ankles before she could think. Ira's head hit the hard pavement with a grotesque crack, and crimson blood colored the ground red in moments. Kyros, blinded by rage, grabbed the brunette by her shirt and punched her point blanc until blood was running from her nose and she was crying out from her mouth that had an apparent broken jaw. Then he ripped off a large part of his sweatshirt and lifted his sister's head, her hair sticky with half dry blood. She let out a pained breath when he did, but didn't cry. She never cried. He tied the crude bandage around her head and pressed it with his fingers lightly, while propping up Ira's head with his knee. Just then a teacher caught sight of the scene and came running over. The dried blood on Kyros's knuckles gave him away immediately and he knew what it meant. Jail. Or, rather, the dungeon, which was what all the kids who had been there nicknamed it. The teacher said almost nothing and called the officers. Ira was taken away on a stretcher and he knew where he was going before he stepped into the back of the officer's car.
Celeste
Celeste stared at the stars and her white hair twirled behind her in the wind. The night sky had always drawn her to it. She sat atop a small hill that overlooked the polished city she lived in. Her deep blue eyes seemed to get darker as she got sad, the stars were barely visible because of the awful light pollution that had pretty much destroyed the sky. In school she learned about constellations she would never see. The grass rubbed against her legs as the wind made all of nature around her dance in the cool air. Polluted as it was, the air was always fresher atop this hill. Celeste closed her eyes and remembered all that had happened to her before tonight. All her life had been a raging battle between dark and light, but she never knew whether she was the good or bad guy. Scenes played through her head; Her mom yelling at her, the feeling of a chair hitting her side hard, the first time she used her middle finger, those cold nights in the alley beside her childhood home. And the one single person who had slept out there with her. He risked everything just to be with her in those awful conditions because he couldn't bear to leave her alone.
Harkin...
It had taken Celeste two months to get to know the kid. He was an outcast and everyone avoided him like the plague. Once they got to know each other they were inseparable. Celeste's few friends shipped them, but regardless they never got together. Now he was... gone...
Not forever, just in jail. He had opened up to Celeste and gotten caught using his power. They called him a freak, and arrested him then and there. Celeste never got to show him her power...
"Well, well, well... Being out of your dorm, and in the wilderness this late is illegal."
Celeste's heart skipped a beat at the harsh voice behind her. Her wrists were grabbed and tied together, before she could even put up a fight.
