Depending on the popularity, books will be ranked 1st-8th and there will be honorable mentions in each genre. 

They will be decided by judges. (see last chapter if you're interested.)

If you want to size up the competition or are just looking for a good book, all official entries are in the reading lists on this page, separated by genre, with exception to the Undiscovered and Newbie awards. 

What makes a winner?

The winning books will be:

-Creative

-Grammatically correct. (Though of course, there are small typos in every book, but if what you write is littered with mistakes, it will not place.)

-Written with brilliant individual and artistic style from the author

Most of all:

Pleasurable to read. If we can't put your book down, there's a fair chance of success!

Some less important features (icing on the cake) which may defer say, first and second, include the following: 

-A unique and well designed cover

-From an author who is generally a good person

-With a supportive fanbase. (That's not to say, a more popular book is more likely to succeed, but if the author is engaging with the readers and really bringing in the story, the book will be overall better to read.)
