So far we have two anonymous judges in the Rose awards, however I (Rose) hope that we can get at least fifteen. You can judge if you compete, but it cannot be your own event.

You will know about two weeks after application if you're qualified for the judging, nothing personal if you're not selected. 

A good judge is a good writer above all. 

They must be able to discern quality work from non quality work and they must care about these awards as much as we do. They should have experience with writing, but that doesn't mean they have to be a popular writer.
