Historical Fiction Winners
There were 7 judges in Historical Fiction. There were a lot of differing opinions on who was going to win, but these three were all floating on the top. Because of low entry numbers, there will only be a few placements.

Honorable Mention: Set Free
I think I've achieved salvation!! This book 'set me free' from the daily routines of life and took me to a different realm!! I'm awestruck. It is one of the best books I've ever read!!
Arguably, one of the best historical fiction books on Wattpad. It's innovative, it's smart, and it hooks you in from start to finish.
I love books about slavery. It manages to tackle heavy themes without being repulsive. I really think this is amazing, and I don't know how the author managed to come up with such a brilliant concept.
3rd Place: Without Regrets
A World War II story that isn't cliche or generic. It really makes me smile to see such a splendid book with a comforting story. I NEED MORE CHAPTERS!!! 6 is not enough. Seriously, I love Miera, I just imagine her as myself.
Brilliantly written. Painted such a clear picture in my mind. It's amazing. The dialogue is believable, the writing is exquisite.
2nd Place: The Tongue of the Wicked
it left me engrossed, awestruck, spellbound and fascinated after every chapter. Each and every line oozed thrill and excitement. Yuna is my new role model. This book was the epitome of every amazing novel out there!!!
Fantasy has never been my thing, but tied in with Historical fiction, I think it's become my thing! I love this book from start to finish.
1st Place: Mayajaal: The Snares of Illusion
Historical fiction as I've never seen it before. It's so different from the other entries, I have to place it first. There's no other way to describe it. Whenever you go to the bookstore, all you find on the shelves are Western historical fiction novels, and I'm so happy that I've found my culture in a book without being patronized or stereotyped.
A completely different and long forgotten era of Indian history has been used a plot. I was drawn in from the first line till the last word. This book will go to heights!!!
Unique! This book has be spellbound and drawn to a time before mine. I'm in love.
The original story really tied be to the book. I read ALL OF IT!
