I knew the guy. He was a senior and his name is Miro.

     "Hey," He said.

     "Hey, I'm assuming you are the one here for my date," I said. He nodded and smiled. 

     "You look pretty," He said. I smiled.

     "Thank you. You look great too," I said looking him up and down. He was a tall somewhat attractive guy. He had bright blue eyes and an adorable crooked smile. His smile made me smile. 

     "Let's get a table," He smiled. We were led to a table. I'm glad he's the one who asked me out. A lot of girls liked him so I felt kinda honored. He was the boys' hockey captain. I never really thought about him in a romantic way. He was an incredible player, I couldn't lie. We ordered our food and began to talk.

     "I'm really glad you decided to come. I was nervous you wouldn't show up," He smiled.

     "I wasn't sure at first. It was a little strange but I haven't had a boyfriend so..," I said with a small sigh.

     "Heh, well I've always thought you were pretty cute. Not to mention you are the most incredible hockey player I've seen out of the NHL," He said. I blushed a little bit.

     "Th-Thanks, you're a great player as well," I said.

     "Thanks," He smiled. We continued to talk about school when we got our food. We ate and continued talking.

     "So, why was I the girl you chose? I'm not complaining. I just know a ton of girls would love to date you," I laughed.

     "Well, I just noticed you were really pretty and kind to everyone. Plus, like I said, you are an incredible hockey player," He smiled.

     "Aww," I said. I blushed a bit as I looked down at my food. We ate and talked about some different stuff. We were just getting to know each other.

     "This was really nice," I said as Miro payed.

     "I agree," He said.

     "I'm really glad I came," I said.

     "I am too," He smiled. We walked out to the parking lot when he hugged me. I smiled and held him tightly. We held each other and looked at each other.

     "This was amazing," I said.

     "It really was," Miro smiled. 

     "I'll see you tomorrow," I said. He nodded and bent down. He kissed my cheek and I smiled. 

     "Good night," He said.

     "G-Good night," I blushed. We went our separate ways to our cars. Wow this was amazing.
