I don't have much to say about this topic today, but I will share was has been on my heart.

I've noticed quite a few posts on here and elsewhere about people wanting to be in relationships. There is nothing wrong with having that desire. I am in that boat with you! We were created to do life with other people. God did not design us to be alone.

While desiring to be in a relationship is not wrong, it being the ONLY thing you desire is. If you can't eat, sleep, or function without wanting to be in a relationship... I do not think it is wise for you to be in one. No one person can satisfy you. Only your Heavenly Father can. Your relationship with Him sets the tone for every single relationship to follow. If you aren't working towards being content in this season of singleness, you will never truly appreciate being in a relationship when that time does come.

Like I have said in previous chapters about this, focus on God. Please. It will take discipline, but I believe you can do it :) You will find exactly what your heart desires and even more. Not what your emotions are telling you. God is SO much bigger than that.

Whenever the thought of your future boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife pops into your head, write a prayer for them. I have been doing that for almost two years now and it has helped me tremendously. Instead of wallowing, I pray for that person. He has not yet been revealed to me, but praying for him gives me so much hope. Prayer is one of the purest forms of love. One day, you can pull out those prayers, or letters, and let that person read them. I have no doubt it will encourage them and you. It will deepen your relationship with God and your special someone.
