I don't even know what this is, honestly. But, ya know, it's kinda cute at some parts, so knock yourselves out.

~~~
"Will..." Nico's accent made it sound like 'wheel' again. He didn't even realize it, either.
The blond boy was out of his car, and Nico couldn't recall him ever looking like this. He always looked perfect, so this was definitely a change.  There were bags under his eyes, his beautiful blue eyes. He was still wearing his maroon polo and khakis, and they were both wrinkly messes. He just looked... tired. He'd always gotten plenty of sleep, and the change had made a difference.
"Hi, Nico. Missed you," he greeted with a wink.
"T-thanks for coming, Solace. I... missed you too." He wasn't completely lying when he said the words.
"Then c'mon, you little shit. Let's go home."
"Alright. We'll talk when we're there," Nico replied with a grin.
Will didn't reply as he sat down in the driver's seat and started the car.
Will's car was very...yellow. It was one of those yellow bugs, which Nico was completely embarrassed to ride in, but he had no other choice.
"So, did you break a few speed limits to get here?" Nico smirked.
"Of course I did. I've never done that before, either. I'm breaking laws for you, Sunshine."
"You're too good to me," Nico said sarcastically with a roll of his eyes.
"Someone's gotta be responsible. I have to drive Cecil and Lou home all the time, so I'm used to it. And by the way, you smell like sweat, smoke, and alcohol."
"I was at a bar, Solace. What do you expect?"
"Fair enough."
They were silent for the rest of the ride.
The second Nico arrived inside the apartment, Mrs. O'Leary showered him with kisses, and he laughed. "Agh, stop!" He gave her a kiss on the head. "She's growing so fast," he murmured to himself.
After his reunion with his dog, Will took him by the arm and dragged him into his room, where his warm, strong arms engulfed Nico.
For once, Nico didn't oblige.
"I know it's been less than twelve hours, but you've never left, and, I missed you. I'm a wreck without you, di Angelo. I don't know how I survived before I met you."
"You're a sap, Solace." Nico placed his head in on Will's shoulder. They were like puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. Nico figured he could get used to this. This is just a nice gesture, though. He doesn't do this very often.
"Hey, Nico. What did you do all night?" Will let go of him and took a seat on his bed, which shocked the black haired boy. He didn't want him to leave. He probably just didn't want to push my boundaries.
Nico sat next to his roommate. "Well, we went to the bar, and I had way too much to drink. I don't drink often, you know," he began.
"Then why did you?" Will asked curiously.
"I wanted to forget you for the night," Nico admitted. He knew Will would either be angry or crushed, but that was part of the reason he did drink.
"What?"
"If I didn't forget about you, I would've wanted you with me. I-I kissed a guy last night, William."
"You have a boyfriend?" Will cocked his head.
"No. He was drunk, I was drunk, we were talking, and I got pushed into him. Our lips just kinda crashed into each other," Nico explained.
"I'd like a visual, please."
"How would I show you a kiss when you're the only other guy here?"
Will wiggled his eyebrows. "Ohh, you know..."
"No! I'm not kissing you. You're my roommate. I'd be willing to place bets on that you're already in a relationship, anyways," Nico said crossly.
"So you've been considering a relationship with me?" The blond laughed.
"I've known you for a month, maybe a little bit longer. I'm not going to date you, Will. I'm not even going to kiss you. I could get a restraining order, you know."
"You wouldn't."
"Try me, Solace."
"May I hug you then?" Will asked.
Nico nodded hesitantly.
"May I hold you?" He asked again, shifting himself so he was leaning against the wall. He chucked the pillows on the floor.
"Umm..."
"There's something that I really want to talk to you about, Nico. Come here," he ordered, changing the subject abruptly. He figured Will just didn't want to make him uncomfortable.
Nico tentatively agreed and scooted over next to Will, crossing his arms.
"Tell me about your nightmares, Sunshine," he whispered in his ear.
"Only if you give me space." Nico could feel Piper's previous request drumming at his skull. He was supposed to let Will hold him. He was supposed to let him comfort him.
'He's your Solace.'
"Oh. Okay, sure. Whatever. I mean, as long as you tell me everything about your nightmares." He looked slightly hurt, and Nico regretted asking Will for space. He spotted a bit closer to him, so their arms barely brushed.
"Okay, well, I can't always remember my nightmares," Nico began. "Like last night. Piper came to wake me up, because I was screaming a name. But not just any name. I was yelling for you, Solace. A-and she said my accent was thick."
"Oh, Sunshine, your accent is heavy when you're having nightmares."
"It is?"
The blue eyed boy nodded.
"Anyways, sometimes they're about my family," Nico stated.
"Like, your mom? Dad? Siblings?"
"My mother and sister are dead, Solace."
Will looked down. "Oh."
"My dad tried the best he could, but he was always, you know, detached."
"So that's where you got it from," Will smirked.
Nico didn't respond to that. "Do you know Hazel Levesque?"
"Uhh, I don't know, maybe. Probably not."
"Well, she's my half sister on my dad's side. She and Piper want to meet you for some reason."
Will could tell Nico was directing the conversation elsewhere, but he didn't mind. The shorter boy was soon telling him all about his friends that he had met last night. He definitely understood why Nico wouldn't want to talk about his nightmares, but he hadn't really said much about them at all. Oh well. Will could find out some how.
"-And Frank is Hazel's boyfriend. He's really sweet to her, they're a nice couple. Jason is Piper's boyfriend. He's kinda cool, but he can be annoying. Not as annoying as Leo, though. I don't know why him and Calypso are even together, to be honest. I don't really see the compatibility. But, ya know, as long as Leo isn't hitting on Hazel anymore. He did that a lot in high school."
"Mmm."
Seeing Nico talk to highly about most of his friends made Will feel happy inside. He listened to him ramble, but eventually he gave up on listening and just stared at him.
Will wondered if Nico knew he could tell that he was moving closer to him. He wanted to to just tell him to hurry it up and get over here, but he deeply respected his boundaries. The last thing he wanted right now was for him to leave.
Suddenly, Nico stopped talking and looked at him.
"Hi," said Nico.
"Hi," Will replied.
"Why are you staring at me?"
"Why are you staring at me?"
"You're twenty-one, you should stop acting this way."
"You're twenty-one, you should stop acting this way."
"You're insufferable."
"Yeah, love you too." The blond boy winked.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard what I said, di Angelo."
Nico scowled. "Stop it, you little-"
Will put a hand to Nico's mouth. "Shh."
He pushed him off. "Hey! You have no right to do that!"
"I don't think it matters if I have a right or not." He batted his eyelashes flirtatiously.
"You ain't cute, Solace."
"Stop lying to yourself." Will stuck his tongue out at Nico.
"You are acting like a child." Nico huffed.
"You're acting like the boring babysitter who doesn't let me have any fun," he retorted.
Nico banged his head on the wall. "I seriously cannot handle you right now."
"Mission accomplished!" The blue eyed boy exclaimed, tackling Nico.
"I'll-I'll end you!"
"I would like to see that happen."
"Well-" The shorter boy was interrupted by a bark at the bedroom door. Mrs. O'Leary had arrived.
"Hey, girl! C'mere!" Will called, and she obeyed, jumping into his lap. She ran excitedly around the bed between Will and Nico, who'd moved away from each other.
"What ever happened to you being tired?" Nico asked.
"I dunno. I would rather spend told with you, anyways."
Nico froze. Had he heard him right? Maybe he was referring to the dog. He wouldn't want to spend time with him, would he?
"Hey, Will?"
He looked over. "Yeah?"
"Remember the first night you brought home Mrs. O'Leary, and we all fell asleep on the couch?"
He nodded. "Yeah..."
"That was the first time I hadn't slept alone in years. And... the first time I had a happy dream."
Will continued to pet the dog. "Why are you bringing this up, Nico?"
The black haired boy bit his lip. "I don't know. I just-"
"Are you asking me to sleep next to you?"
"No. It's uncomfortable for me. I think you need a nap now, though. I'll buy us a special dinner later."
"A special dinner?" Will raised his eyebrows.
"Hell yeah. You like McDonald's happy meals?"
"Are you kidding me? I haven't eaten one one since I was like, seven."
"You're a loser." This time, Nico was the one who stuck out his tongue.
"Proud to be at service, resident asshole." He popped the 'p' sound.
Nico punched him in the ribs, which shocked a resting Mrs. O'Leary. She blinked a few times before shifting positions so her head was buried into Will's chest.
"Get some sleep, William," Nico advised.
"And you say I act like a parent."
Nico muttered something in Italian as he hopped off the bed, and then he spoke up in English, "I'll come wake you up in a few hours. I'll leave Mrs. O'Leary with you. Goodbye."
Right before Nico was about to shut the door behind him, Will called, "Wait!"
"What?"
"No goodnight kiss?"
"It's not nighttime," he stated.
"So that's your excuse as of why you don't want to kiss me?" He said in a teasing voice.
"Maybe. Now shut up and get some sleep." Nico made sure to hurry and shut the door before Will started babbling again.
He decided to shower and dispose of his smelly clothes in the laundry basket, and then he threw on a black skull shirt with dark jeans.
Nico plugged his phone in the charger, and then he grabbed his wallet from his pocket. He'd spent a lot of money yesterday night. Oh well. He could always start working again, it'd give him something to do.
He lied down in his bed, but he wasn't going to sleep. He just thought. He thought for hours, about a lot of things. But he mostly just thought about Will. Multiple quotes from the day ran through his mind.
'Hi, Nico. Missed you.'
'No goodnight kiss?'
'Are you asking me to sleep next to you?'
'Stop lying to yourself.'
'I dunno. I'd rather spend time with you, anyways.'
'Yeah, love you too.'
'So you've been considering a relationship with me?'
'I'm breaking laws for you, Sunshine.'
'I'm a wreck without you, di Angelo. I don't know how I survived before I met you.'
What did I ever do to deserve this guy? Nico thought, with a huge grin on his face.
I'll try to give him a chance. But first... I should probably talk to Percy.
~~~

Okay so I know I really need to stop referring to them as 'boys,' because they're like, twenty one. Oh well. I hope this chapter wasn't stupid, but I'm having a writer's block right now, so hopefully this is okay. Anyways, comments, votes, follows, and criticism are always appreciated! Have a super day!
