"Can you delete that fucking picture please" Michael muttered as I laughed at the ridiculous picture of Michael in his graduation hat I had as a background picture.

"Never, you look so cute" I joked and patted his cheek but he just swatted me away quickly.

"Fuck you" he mumbled before I threw an arm around him, making him crack a smile.

"You ready for this?" I asked and sat down on one of the waiting chairs at the airport. It was late morning in Malaysia as Michael and I had taken a flight from Perth at night. From here we were supposed to take a 13 hour flight to Paris before taking yet another flight to finally reach Liverpool.

I was not so keen on flying, though Michael loved it. He just slept through it though, making me sit alone and drown in my worries. So, this whole journey was a living hell for me.

"You mean the flight or the actual camp?" he chuckled before taking a sip of his coffee. I shrugged and looked out of the glass wall, watching all the flights taking off and landing.

"Both, I guess. More the camp though"

"I'm so excited, dude. This will be so good. Just think about all the things we are going to do, to learn and see. We are going to meet so many people and damn, I'm excited" he said, jumping up and down in his seat like a little kid.

"Yeah, but they are all dudes and all our competition" I pointed out, still watching all the planes outside in horror.

"You have to turn down your ego, Ash. We are going to be in Liverpool for almost three whole months, you can't avoid everyone there that whole time. You have to show that you are positive outside and on the pitch, otherwise the players and coaches will fucking hate you"

"Fine" I breathed, turning to look at him. "Can you please not fall asleep the first thing you do, I need you awake when the plane takes off"

Michael laughed and shook his head in amusement. "God, you're such a baby"

"No I'm not! I'm just saying it would just be a tragedy if the world had to lose such a talented and handsome young boy like me in a fucking plane crash"

"Like I said before, turn down your fucking ego, Kanye" he said before standing up to throw his empty coffee cup in the garbage can.

I rolled my eyes and sat down more comfortably in my chair, which was quite impossible because the seats were extremely uncomfortable. I laid my head back and closed my eyes, hoping that maybe I could get some sleep before the flight because there was no way I'd be able to sleep on that.

"What if I fuck up and have to go home?" I asked as I felt Michael sit down beside me again.

"You won't" he chuckled like what I told him was pure bullshit.

"You don't know that" I said, opening my eyes see him already looking at me.

"Where is this suddenly coming from?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows worriedly as I shrugged. "Have you taken your pills yet?" he asked again.

"Yes, mom" I mumbled, closing my eyes again. I earned a slap from Michael, but he soon placed his head on my shoulder, getting himself comfortable.

"You're without your mom for a long time now, someone has to step up and take care of you"

I sighed, sinking down in my seat even further before nodding small. "I know, promise you will keep things quiet though. I don't want any other people's noses in my business"

"It's between me and you, like it has always been" he assured me. I smiled though I doubt he saw it as we both were now keeping our eyes closed.

"You will be great, like always, Ash. Don't you worry your pretty little head" he said, patting my hair messily. I slapped his hand away before breathing out a laugh.

"I like your new hair by the way" I said after a while, feeling how my body was getting more and more relaxed by the minute.

"Thanks, I figured I had to tone it down a bit now when we're off meeting professional people" he said, referring to his now brown hair with a few blonde streaks here and there. It looked good though, but I always preferred him with colorful hair, it matched his colorful personality.

"That's probably a very smart choice" I said, laughing quietly.

"Flight 20163 to Paris is now boarding at gate B43" the female voice was heard through the speakers of the airport. Michael and I slowly opened our eyes and sat up in our seats.

"Let's get going then" Michael yawned and stood up from his seat before grabbing his bag. I looked at him before hesitantly standing up as well, grabbing my backpack and putting it on. I hung my headphones over my neck and walked after Michael with a small sigh. I heard Michael laugh and I looked up to give him a glare.

"You're such a little pussy" he laughed and threw an arm around me.

"Fuck you" I grumbled and he only laughed even more.

We took our place in the line to board the enormous plane I could see through the windows. I gulped down but kept quiet, not wanting to show that I was scared, I didn't want to be a so called 'pussy'.

The line moved quickly and soon I showed the polite worker my ticket, making me able to board the plane. Michael turned to look at me smiling big.

We walked over to our seats. Some random was sitting by the window, Michael was sitting in the middle and I was sitting the furthest out, which was good because then I could be the first one up and be able to run the hell away if something happened.

I sat down and sighed loudly, making Michael place his hand over my thigh. I looked up to lock eyes with his assuring ones.

"It's going to be fine, Ash, okay?" he said and I nodded my head, breathing deeply. Michael soon broke out in a big smile and I raised one eyebrow at him.

"This is the start of our dreams. We've been playing since we were like three years old and been dreaming about this since we were six and now here we are" he said excitedly.

I smiled and nodded, leaning my head back in my chair. "Yeah, this is the start of our dreams"

"Ladies and gentlemen, our previous time for leaving at 10:40 has been delayed twenty to thirty minutes as we have to wait for a plane form Sydney that has been delayed because of traffic. As soon as passengers from Sydney has boarded we can take off and the new time will be 11:15. We greatly apologize for the small delay"

I groaned loudly and threw my head back in frustration.

"Okay, so the start of our dreams start in about 40 minutes" Michael said and I just sent him a glare.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are now getting ready for landing in Kuala Lampur. We would like you all to put on your seatbelts as well as lift up the window shades and seat trays before landing. Passengers who are going with flight 20163 to Paris are being driven by car directly to the plane that is waiting for you, as well as your bags. Again, we would like to express our apologies for the delay and we hope you have a great stay here in Malaysia"

I sighed happily as I heard that we were finally there. The fact that we had been so late and we already before the delay were in a hurry for the Paris flight, I was very anxious if we were able to catch it. Though the people had made some calls and they had been able to stop the flight to wait for only me and Calum.

"Are you ready to live our dreams Luke? Because I am. The future belongs to us, we are the stars lighting up the sky and we are the smile on people's faces. We are the future" Calum spoke up, making me turn to look at him with a grimace.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, why are you so weird? Have you read a book or something?" I said, judging him with my eyes.

"No" he scoffed, like what I had said would never be able to happen, "I had sex" he shrugged and I scoffed.

"But for real, are you ready for this?" he asked again, smiling excitedly at me. I smiled back and leaned back in my chair, nodding.

"I'm excited to see all the guys that have been chosen for this. I mean they all have to be really fucking good if they have all been selected and I'm scared that I won't be good enough" Calum said thoughtfully.

"Well, if you're one of the selected then you have to be good as well" I stated the obvious, trying to assure Calum that he was fine. Calum shrugged, mumbling an 'I guess'.

"Promise me one thing though" I said and Calum turned his head to look at me.

"What?"

"That you will keep your big mouth shut. That mouth has been a big problem for both of us and your stupid comments will for sure get you beaten up more than once" I said and he rolled his eyes.

"You are overreacting. It's not that bad, I just speak before I think sometimes" he shrugged. I scoffed and nodded my head because, yes, that's exactly what he did.

"Just promise me that you won't accidentally let out any comments about their countries and religions that could be taken as racist" I said, giving him a pointed look because I didn't want to get hated on because my friend had a brain that couldn't keep up with his mouth.

"Me, racist?" he said, raising one eyebrow at me. "I'm the one people mock and call Asian and while I just take it and gently correct them, you tell me not to be racist?"

I looked at him before chuckling. "Whatever, just promise me that, okay?"

"Whatever you'd like, captain" Calum said, smirking as he looked out of the window as we were just about to land.

Just as we had landed the flight attendant asked for people to keep seated and we all did. A small female flight attendant walked over to me and Calum and smiled big.

"You can come with me, sirs, and we will take you to the car that will take you to your next flights" she said politely and I almost gagged because it was so fake. I still smiled though, nodding while standing up and walked after her with Calum close behind.

"Are you ready?" Calum asked again as we were now seated in the car that would take us to our next flight.

"Yes Calum, I'm ready, now shut the fuck up" I said, taking a big gulp from the glass water bottle in my hand, clearly annoyed at my excited friend. I just wanted to get there already.

"Wow, hello there grumpy pants" Calum said, mocking my annoyed expression. I gave him a look before punching him on his arm, right by his nerve, making him whine out in pain.

"We are here, sirs" the driver said after a minute of driving. We thanked him and stepped out with our backpacks in hand. We jogged up to the plane and climbed up the stair, entering the plane.

Flight attendants smiled and showed us to our place as every other person on the flight looked at us, probably quite annoyed because we were the ones who had delayed the plane. I didn't care though, it was more important that Calum and I caught the flight.

We walked through the aisle and I tiredly looked at the Calum's back as we walked to our seats. I yawned and stopped in my tracks as I bumped into Calum. I was just about to scold him about it but he spoke up first.

"Irwin and Clifford from Rainsford, right?" Calum said and my head shot up. My eyes immediately locked with his; Ashton Irwin.

Our glares were cold and we never once even let a blink disturb our staring contest. Ashton had his jaw locked, just like his fists and he looked at me with just as much disgust as I looked at him with.

I fucking hated that guy so much and seeing him again after a few months only made the hate grow.

Michael Clifford, Ashton's friend, awkwardly cleared his throat and looked between me and Ashton before looking at Calum, giving him a small smile.

"Calum Hood, yeah?" he said and Calum nodded, giving him a smile. "And Luke Hemmings" Michael said again, averting his eyes so they were on me.

I just gave him a curt nod in response, earning an elbow in my ribs from Calum.

"Hey, Ashton" Calum said, nodding at the pissed off boy in front of him as he did nothing but nod as well.

"It's nice seeing you two again" Michael said, trying to ease up the tense situation.

"Yeah, same to you" Calum spoke before getting interrupted.

"Sirs, may you please take your seats so we can get the flight going" an attendant said and Calum nodded, apologizing.

"Well, we'll see you later in Paris then" Michael smiled while I just gave Ashton a glare that he easily received and gave back even harsher.

"Yeah, we'll do that" Calum said and gave them both a small wave before he continued walking down the aisle. I gave Ashton one last glare before starting to walk, but quickly stumble a bit as a leg was put in front of my feet.

I clenched my teeth together and looked up at an unfazed Ashton. "Watch where you're going there, Barbie, wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you before such an important summer" he mumbled, not even looking at me.

I smiled dryly at him and slammed down the hand with the glass bottle in on his hand, hard. "Same to you, fucker, it would be such a shame if you weren't there" I said before walking off again, watching Ashton clench his jaw even tighter as he looked at his now slightly red hand.

I sighed frustratedly and sat down beside Calum as he just shook his head at me.

"This will be one hell of a summer"
