03 | what a hunk... of ass!

"What the fuck are you doing in my room?!"

I feel my way on the floor to one of the four walls, trying to will myself to stand up but my legs have gone jello on me.

Why the hell is there another person in my room? What were they doing here? Do kidnappers come in and sleep on your bed when you're away?

"Who are you?" I recognise it as a males deep voice and I gulp as the room fills with light as the man turns on the bedside lamp beside the bed.

I blink a few times trying to get my eyes to adjust to the sudden change, the man however is faster than me.

"Are you mute or something?" he asks, his mouth turning into a glare when he spots me on the floor.

I realise for the first time that night that he doesn't appear to be that old, maybe only in his early twenties. I spy a black tattoo on his right arm, lines I think they are on the inside of his arm and then I notice he's not wearing anything... at all.

I turn my eyes away quickly, trying to get the naked image out of my head.

Great, just great. First night in New York City and I've already seen a naked guy with his not so little member.

"I asked you a question!" The guy says again, obviously not happy about me waking him up by laying on him. "Oh wait... You're Sam, right?"

I blink confused. Who is this Sam person he is speaking of?

I turn my head to face him, thankful to see that he's managed to find a pair of dark grey boxers and thrown them on. Although his chiseled chest and six pack is proudly on display, I look back up at his face who is already watching me intently.

"Sam?" I quipped trying to find my voice again as I stand up, choosing to stay pretty close to the wall.

"Yeah? My fuck buddy for the night," he explains raising an eyebrow at me.

At first I don't get it but then I do.

"Oh... Oh uh no..." I stumble over my words, a slight blush starting to appear on my cheeks. "I'm definitely not Sam."

The guy takes a step towards me and I take a step back in fright.

"Then let me ask you again... Who are you? And what are you doing in my apartment?"

His apartment? I thought Co-Co told me this place had been emptied from when they moved out.

"Your apartment? Listen buddy-" I say taking two steps towards him, he watches me frowning slightly. "I don't know who you are or why you're here but this is my apartment!"

I think I've said the wrong thing because the next thing I know, guy with no name has rushed forwards and pinned me up against the wall, his hands on either sides of my head.

My eyes widen in panic.

"Tell me your name."

The young man's eyes are dark and I can't tell whether they're more of a hazel or brown, although I can smell the alcohol coming off of him and his sandy hair is soaked from sweat.

"Jacquelyne." I mumble trying to get out of the position he's got me in but he's strong and he doesn't seem to be wanting me to go anywhere just yet.

Oh no! This wasn't what was meant to happen when I got here. I just wanted to sleep, is that so hard to ask for? I'm going to say yes to that.

"Jacquelyne.." He tests the sound of my name on his lips, giving me goosebumps along my arms and neck as he leans closer into me. "And tell me little Jacquelyne, what are you doing in my room?"

He's been drinking, it's evident enough from the smell surrounding him but as I take a look around the room I see the empty bottles and cans laying scattered on the floor. It's a wonder my foot hadn't caught any of them when walking in earlier.

"Dude back the fuck away from me!" I glare up at him, feeling uncomfortable from his closeness but also pissed off. "Tu me gonfles!" (You're pissing me off).

Who the hell does this drunk ass think he is?

The guy doesn't listen to me, if anything he leans further in and nuzzles into my neck. I'm not a hundred percent certain but I swear he sniffs me as well. I tilt my head as far back as I can, looking up into his hooded eyes.

He smirks down at me, leaning his head back down so that he can whisper the next part in my ear. I think I stopped breathing a while ago.

"Well then, something tells me this is going to be very interesting my little one."

I can finally breathe again once he removes his arms from my sides and takes a few steps back, letting me go.

I'm about to ask him for his name and an explanation as to what the hell just happened, when he suddenly turns back around to look at me, fury in his dark eyes as he clenches his fist by his side.

"Now get the fuck out of my room!"

I don't need to be told twice, I'm out the door before he can even finish his sentence.

I really don't want to be around Mr. Scary-Drunk-Ass-Prick but I also don't want to be outside in the roaring cold winds alone and freezing. So against my better judgment, I make my way back out into the main lounge.

I don't bother turning on any lights, instead I feel my way over to the lounge and lay down on it trying to get comfortable. I'm over tired and my legs are killing me, he may be a complete dick but he isn't going to scare me away from my apartment.

A few hours later and I'm awake thanks to probably the asshole from last night slamming the front door on his way out of the apartment.

"Seriously... You don't see me going around slamming doors!" I mumble to myself, still too tired to actually yell it out to him.

I try going back to sleep but my body aches in protest from sleeping on the lounge, although it is comfortable, it isn't a bed.

So I get up instead, stretching my arms up high above me. The sun is blaring into the open living area and I look around quite shocked at what I'm seeing.

Modern apartment was an understatement.

There's a huge white open fireplace on one wall, a flat screen tv above it and the white l-shaped lounge I had slept on - in front of it, a large fluffy cream rug on the floor.

Turning my head towards the three floor-to-ceiling windows, I take notice of the six seater dining table although it looks like it's hardly ever been sat on. Actually as I continue making my way to the kitchen, it looks like everything is brand new and never really used.

The kitchen is stainless, the counter tops polished in a beautiful white marble with shiny new appliances and even one of those fancy-ass stove tops that you turn on with a little press down button on the top.

"Well this will be fun to cook with," I say out loud as I stare around the room is amazement.

I've always loved cooking, especially baking sweets; I have a sweet tooth alright.

I make my way down the small hallway again, walking all the way to the end and notice the door is shut. Curiously, I go to turn the knob only to realise it's locked.

I sigh.

Upon further inspection around the apartment, I note that it's overall pretty clean except for the guys room that I saw the other night and it definitely had a woman's touch with all the plants and small art pieces here and there.

I'm about to continue exploring in the bathroom when I hear the front door being opened loudly.

He's back already?

"Yo Aiden! I have to tell you about this hilarious thing that happened last night..." the voice trails off as they see me coming out of the bathroom dressed in last nights clothes and my hair probably resembling a birds nest.

It's the guy from the plane, the same guy I said I wouldn't see again.

"You again?!" we cry out at the same time, surprised.
