RANDY POV:

I paced back and forth in my room, eager to know what was going on between Leigh and Seth. It wasn't exactly my place to get involved anymore, especially as I had given Leighla my word that I would keep us a secret. But after having tasted the forbidden fruit I'd been lusting after for all these years, it only made my eagerness to know all the more powerful.

I told Leighla my room number here at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in case she needed me later, but something told me that weasel was already sweet talking her into his bed as we speak...

SETH POV:

''Don't overthink it Leighla, she really is just some girl I met'' I said, wanting to divert the subject away from Taylor, as it was killing me having to downplay my love for her like this ''plus I didn't mean for you to see her, because I didn't want you to be hurt like that'' as soon as I said it, I realised not only was it a fucking lame excuse, but that it was also an invitation for her to get even more mad at me, as if I was saying she was getting in the way or something.

''Oh I'm sorry, excuse me for ruining your little plans!'' she blew up sarcastically ''and if I hadn't seen her Colby...then what, hm? You and I would still be going steady still? Don't give me that bullshit! You're supposed to be my fiancée Colby, my fiancé!!! Yet you fucking cheated on me with a little fucking slut whore who looks half your age! Do you know how that makes me feel!!'' she screamed with rage.

''Leighla I-''

''What is she Colby huh...21, 22?'' she asked folding her arms across her chest.

''Leighla...''

''TELL ME!!''

''19'' I said quietly.

''19!!!!!'' she screeched, her eyes ablaze with fury ''19? You sick fuck! Is that what you like huh Colby? Little young fangirls who can get you off? You make me fucking sick! 19! Really!!!!!''

''All I could do was stand there and take everything Leighla threw at me.

''She must have been good though huh Colby, to get you to tell her you love her? You must have made all her fucking little dreams come true! And here I am, you God damn fiancée, having my own dreams shattered because you can't keep your dick in your pants!!!'' she screamed, her pale white face now turning red with anger.

''Leighla it's not like that, Taylor has be-''

''Taylor is it? You mean ''it'' has a name? What kind of fucking piece of shit name is that?!!'' she bitched.

I just stayed quiet.

''TALK TO ME COLBY! How long has this 'thing' between you and Taylor been going on? HOW LONG!!!'' she screamed.

''Its...um...just...just ...''

''SPIT IT OUT COLBY!!!''

''Stop shouting at me alright! Just let me think!'' I said, starting to pace up and down with confusion. I actually don't even know what was going here. I hadn't allowed myself to even think about what did I wanted to come out of all of this. Did I want Leighla back? That would be the simpler option, and I knew with lots of time and dedication, she would learn to trust me agrarian...but could I really live with the hole in my heart over losing Taylor? And in a way, hadn't I lost her already? When she walked away from me today, she left me a total wreck, now the only person left to pick up the pieces, were me.

''Leighla I...'' I started again, but she instantly cut me off...

''Why are you protecting her Colby, huh? Why is she so special to you?'' she asked, scanning my face carefully ''you really are fucking in love with her aren't you?''

''Leighla, it's not like that...'' I began to say.

''Oh my God...OH MY GOD!'' she cried, as if suddenly realising something ''...the fight we had, back at the arena yesterday, you started that on purpose so I would get mad at you and leave, didn't you?!''

Uh oh...

''You were planning on meeting her when you thought I was back home in Connecticut...you sick little piece of shit!!'' she yelled, taking one of her heels off and lobbing it at my head!

I ducked and turned to see it make a large dent in the wall behind me, then ducked again just in time to avoid her other heel which came flying at my face!

''Leighla stop'' I cried, quickly walking over and holding her by her shoulders.

''How Colby?'' she cried back ''how could you do this to me? I loved you so much, I'm your fiancée...how could you break my heart like this? I mean, don't you love me anymore?'' she whimpered in-between crying, looking up at me as tears filled her ocean blue eyes.

I couldn't lie to her anymore...''I still love you Leighla, of course I do, but...I'm not in love with you, not anymore''

She slowly stepped back from me...and the shock on her face said it all.

''What?'' she asked in disbelief ''...y-you're not in love with me anymore?''

I had finally said out loud what my heart had been feeling for months. And the second I did, I felt it break in two.

''No'' I told her honestly.

''I can't believe what you're saying to me right now...'' she said, slowly sitting down on the bed again, her palce face paler than usual with shock.

I walked over and sat on the bed with her ''Leighla, I know nothing I say right now will make the hurt go away, but wouldn't you prefer my honest feeling to your face, rather than me living a lie, and sneaking off behind your back again?''

She looked at me stunned with wide eyes, and I could see her about to say something, but instead just sat there in silence.

I felt awful, because I knew I was crushing her entire world right now, but I also knew being honest was the right thing to do.

''Please Colby...don't do this to me'' she begged softly, wiping her face with the back of her hand.

''I don't want to do this to you Leighla, but I can't lie and say it's not something I haven't been feeling for a long time now'' I told her again honestly.

''Was it me? Something I did?''

I didn't want to hurt her any further, so I just held her close and said ''no babe, It's me and the way I'm feeling''

''Liar'' she said quietly, as tears began to stream down her face again, and I quickly went and got her some tissue from the bathroom.

''What could I have done to be a better girlfriend to you? A better fiancé?'' she asked, still looking for answers as to why all of this was happening.

''Nothing more than what your already doing babe'' I said kindly.

''Then what is it she is doing so much better than me to have captured your heart like this?''

I sighed and held my head in my hands, then looked back at her ''don't do that to yourself babe...I can't explain it just like that''

''Well try...I-I need closure Seth, please'' she cried, dabbing her eyes with the tissue.

I looked down at my hands and took another deep breath ''Well for one...'' I said, raising my eyes to meet hers ''I feel I can be myself around her''

''You could always be yourself around me Colby'' she said, looking and sounding very hurt by that.

''No I couldn't Leighla...I mean, in the beginning things between you and I were great! We were like two teenagers in love'' I took another deep breath ''...but since I put that ring on your finger babe, I feel you've become a different person''

''What?'' she said in disbelief.

''You lost that spark in you Leighla, the one I so desperately loved when we were first dating...and...in a way...it feels...oh god forgive me for saying this Leighla, but it feels as if we're already married'' I stole a quick peek at her, and it was like a stab to the heart as I looked at the broken girl sitting in front of me.

''Well if that's how you feel Colby, then take it!'' she cried, yanking the ring off her finger and throwing it at me ''because I don't want it without you'' sobbed, turning her head from me and crying her eyes out.

I bent down and picked the ring up, gently placing it back inside her hand ''this is yours Leighla, I bought it for you from my heart...and I want you to keep it, because I will always love you babe, and as difficult as things are between us right now, I really would love it if we could remain friends...I mean that'' I smiled.

''Will you...are you and her still together?'' she asked.

''Would it hurt any less if I told you''

''No'' she sobbed ''...probably not.''

''Look...what's done is done'' I said softly ''...no one can ever take away the bond we had Leighla, but...I think it's time we both moved on. I'll never forget you babe, you'll always hold a special place in my heart''

''Oh God Colby...'' she sobbed, and l let her cry it out in my arms as I shed my own tears.
