I walked the halls, past all the class rooms and instead of going down to our rooms, I headed up and up till I reached the fifth floor.

The window at the end of the hall was easy to open, like most times. Only workers were allowed up here but no one was here yet so it was easy to get through.

Out the window was a small narrow balcony with a stair to the side that only had a few steps leading up to the rooftop.

I got up and sat on the roof. Around The building was surrounded with trees and a fountain in the face of this place. What a pretty view for such an ugly place.

With nothing on my mind, I just say there in complete silence listening to the voice of the. night owls and distant cars pass by every while.

unconsciously I started humming a song which wasn't so smart, considering the fact I was up here by secret.

After half an hour I got down the stairs and stood on the balcony looking down, it would be so easy to escape but then i'd get dragged right back in here. Turning around to get back in, I almost hit into a figure, we both jump back.

I looked closely and saw those same hazel eyes "what're you doing here!" I whisper screamed.

"excuse me" she replied extending the e "shouldn't I be asking that? You scared the hell out of me" she said way louder than my liking.

"ssssshhh" I said with my index finger in my lips. She crossed her arms and looked at me then walked away. " Close the window" she said, when I walked in, while walking away.

I caught up with her and began "You're not going to tell anyone correct?"

" of course not" she looked at me with confusion then laughed "what're we in first grade?"

suddenly she stopped and unlocked a door. "it was nice seeing you at the court by the way" the sarcasm in her voice was obvious. She entered the room and closed the door behind her not giving me a chance to talk furthermore.
