Ash's POV

I looked up at the school with many thoughts running through my head. What is Misty doesn't like me. What is she rejects me or something? I looked at my friends standing there ready to give me support if I need it. I looked down at my arms to see a bouquet of flowers. Red roses to be exact. Her favorite. The gang and I had canceled the everyday concerts thinking of just holding one once a month. Now we have more time to spend with our girlfriends if we have one. 

I saw Misty walking up to me with Dawn and May. They winked at me and nodded. I sighed. I'm so glad I told them about the plan to ask her out so they could find out if she really liked me. Paul put his hand on my shoulder. "Good luck." I saw Dawn latch onto Paul's arm and Drew putting his arm around May's shoulder. Gary stepped forward and asked to help Leaf with her books and she agreed knowing I would want some alone time with Misty. All of them walked away. Misty looked at me and raised her eyebrows. "Well?" 

I blushed and looked away. "Well...um...would you like to go out on a date tomorrow night?" I heard Misty gasp as she looked at the roses that I handed her. She took them and smiled. "Of course!" I breathed out and Misty took my arm. I smiled and walked her home. Before she walked into the house, she turned around and gave me a smile. "What time tomorrow?" I looked down and smiled. "4:00" "Okay." I looked up and she gave me a wink before turning back into her house. I stood on the steps and started grinning like an idiot. I quickly took out my phone and texted the others that the plan worked. 

I immediately got answers from them.

Dawn: Congratulations 🙂

Paul: Finally *rolling eyes*

Dawn: Paul!!! *warning tone*

Paul: Finally!!! *happy tone*

Paul: Good enough, Troublesome?

Dawn: Yep! 😘😘😘

Paul: 😍😍😍

Ash: Umm

Paul: I'm coming over so we can make out.

Dawn: Okay. 😘😍

Ash: Can you guys do this on your private message?

Dawn: This isn't our private message?

Paul: Shoot.

May: Who is blowing my phone up with notifications?

May: *finished reading above messages* Awkward...

Drew: Yeah

Drew: May, I'm coming over. I don't want to be home when they start their makeout session. 

May: Fine.

May: Good job Ash!

Drew: Yeah. What May said.

May: *rolls eyes at Drew*

Drew: Hey! *offended tone*

May: You're annoying me Grasshead.

Drew: That's why you love me, June

May: Yeah. 😍

Ash: Umm. Guys?  

Drew: Whoops. Sorry, Ash.

Paul: And you laughed at Troublesome and me

Gary: Ashy Boy is finally going to get laid!

Leaf: Gary!!!

Gary: Sorry *puppy face*

Leaf: *rolls eyes*

Leaf: BTW. Congrats Ash!

Ash: Umm. Thanks?

Well. That was weird. Oh! I need to get ready! Good thing it is a Friday. I went online and got Misty and I movie tickets. I also planned to take Misty out to eat at a restaurant. I smiled and got my outfit ready. Let's go!

Misty's POV

After closing the door, I ran to my room and started squealing and jumping up and down! I can't wait til tomorrow!

THE NEXT DAY

I walked to put my outfit on and put on some makeup. I walked to my mirror and looked at myself. Alright, I'm ready to go! got my purse and put my shoes on. I looked at the clock and smiled. Almost right on time. It was 3:47. My sister, Daisy, walked in and smiled at me. "ready for your date?" I smiled and nodded. I started talking to Daisy and before I knew it the doorbell rung. I looked at myself in the mirror once more.

Alright! I'm all set to go!

Ash's POV

My heart started beating wildly as I waited outside. I heard the door open and saw Misty standing there looking as cute as ever. I blushed and handed her a box of her favorite chocolates. I saw her smile before slipping the small box into her purse.

I smiled and held out my arm. She took it and looked up. We walked to the movie theater and I handed the tickets that I received in the mail yesterday to the guard at the door. He nodded at me and let us in. We found our seats and sat down. Misty nudged my arm. "What movie are we watching?" "The one with your Psyduck." Misty smiled and I looked at her and saw her blushing. I found her so cute when she does that! 

The movie ads started rolling and I was paying more attention to her than the actual movie itself. 

Dawn's POV

I led Paul and the others to the movie theater. "They're in there." I pointed. Paul looked at what movie was playing next and got two tickets to the movie. He handed one to me. I smiled up at him. "Hey. What about us?" I heard Gary's voice. Paul looked up at him. "Buy your own tickets." I giggled and saw Drew already lining up to buy tickets for him and May. I looked at Gary. He groaned and paid for his and Leaf's tickets. Leaf held money out to him ready to pay him back. I saw Gary shake his head and refuse it. When Leaf insisted, he accepted the money. We found our seats to see our Ash and Misty a few rows ahead of us. I wrapped my arms around Paul's and rested my head on his shoulder. Paul looked at me and smiled before laying his head on top of mine. We watched the movie and every once in a while, Paul would point at Ash and Misty and chuckle quietly. I would look at what it was and would quietly giggle. When we looked beside us we saw Gary and Leaf almost asleep with Leah's head on Gary's shoulder. I giggled before taking my phone out and snapping a quick picture.

Paul looked at me weird and I smiled at him. He raised his eyebrows at me before paying attention back to the movie screen. I turned to see what May and Drew were doing. I saw Drew and May sharing a coke with one straw and a small bucket of popcorn. When the movie was over, I woke Gary and Leaf up.

We followed Ash and Misty to a restaurant. I saw them get a table near the window that provided excellent scenery. Paul and I got a table not far away but far enough. Gay and Leaf got another table that was close. Drew and May weren't so lucky. They got a table that was right near the bathroom.

We all had dinner without getting caught. After dinner, Paul and I saw Ash paying. When they did up to leave, Paul asked for a receipt from the waiter. After Paul paid, which he insisted on doing since it was technically our first "date". I wanted to pay since he already did for the movie tickets earlier today. But Paul wouldn't let me. Boo hoo!

We followed them home while Gary, Leaf, May, and Drew insisted they were going to stay. We shrugged and just left. When we got to Misty's house we saw Ash and Misty out on the porch. I took my phone out and began recording what I was seeing.

Ash's POV

" I had fun tonight, Ash." Misty was looking up at me. I just smiled. "Yeah. So did I." Mist looked like she was about to go in. I stopped her by reaching out for her arm. When she turned back to look at me, I smiled at her. So cute!

I dropped my hand feeling embarrassed. "Umm...I was well...I was wondering, umm...would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Misty didn't answer for a while and I was just standing there looking like am idiot. My heart dropped and I started to turn back around. I was so stupid in thinking she actually liked me. She probably just like me add a friend anyway. I felt her grab my arm.

"You didn't even let me speak. Umm. My answer is yes." Really? She nodded. I pulled her in for a hug. Mist laughed and hugged me back before giving me a peck on my cheek and going back inside, smiling warmly before closing the door.

I stood there holding my cheek like an absolute idiot. Suddenly my phone ringing and I saw that Dawn had sent a message to our group that was excluding Misty. It was a video. I clicked on it to open it up...
