RYAN DROVE BILLY'S CAR STEADILY, NOT WANTING TO CRASH WITH MAX AND LUCAS NAGGING HIM ON THE SIDE.

Steve woke up in the backseat and glanced at Mike. "Nancy?" Mike looked at him in disgust and confusion. Steve went to touch his face before Dustin stopped him.

"Hey don't touch it, hey buddy," Dustin whispered while smiling. "It's okay, you put up a good fight. He kicked your ass but you put up a fight." Dustin told him. "You're okay," Steve groaned in pain after Dustin said that.

"Okay, you're gonna keep straight for a half a mile, then make a left on Mount Sinai," Lucas told Ryan.

"Mount Sinai, where the hell is that?" Ryan asked.

"I'll tell you, don't worry," Lucas told him.

"What's going on?" Steve asked, Ryan went to look back when Max stopped him.

"Keep your eyes on the road, everything's fine," Max told him as she looked back at Steve.

"Oh, my god!" Steve began to panic when he saw Ryan in the driver's seat.

"Just relax, he's driven before. He has a license." Dustin reassured him.

"I saw him drive into a fire hydrant just last week," Mike told Dustin.

"That counts!" Dustin exclaimed before going back to Steve. "They were going to leave you behind."

"Oh, my god." Steve began to panic more.

"I promised that you'd be cool, okay?" Dustin tried to calm Steve down but that didn't help.

"Steve please man just shut up!" Ryan exclaimed as he went faster.

"I told you he'd freak out," Mike told Dustin.

"Stop the car!" Steve exclaimed.

"Everybody shut up! He's trying to focus!" Max exclaimed.

"Oh, wait, that's Mount Sinai. Make a left." Lucas told Ryan.

"What?" Ryan looked at him.

"Make a left," Lucas repeated before Max took the wheel and made the left for him, everyone screamed in fear of what was happening, knocking over a mailbox in the process.

"Max, what the hell!" Ryan screamed.

Max ignored him and let go of the wheel, letting Ryan take control again. Ryan continued to drive fast, driving over a sign before finally reaching their destination.

"Hello!" Steve exclaimed as the car finally stopped.

"Whoa," Dustin comments.

"Incredible," Mike adds.

"I told you, Zoomer. Plus it was a team effort." Max said before glancing at Ryan, who was still shaken up by what just happened.

They left the car and opened the trunk, getting materials. Steve groaned as he fell out of the car.

"Guys," Steve said, trying to get their attention but it didn't work. "Oh, no, Guys." They all ignored him and continue to get ready.

"Steve, just accept the fact that we are going down the hole, and if you don't want to, that's fine but please, do it for Sofia or for Nancy or for me even." Ryan sent a small smile before going down the hole, following the other teens.

Steve eventually went down the hole with his bat and told everyone that he would he leading the way.

Dustin followed behind the group, he stopped. for a moment and looked above him and was sprayed he dropped to the ground.

"Shit! Help! Help! Help!" He ran to the group.

"Dustin." Mike called out.

Dustin fell to the ground again. "Shit!" He exclaimed.

"Dustin!" Lucas and Max called his name.

"What happened?" Steve and Ryan asked.

"It's in my mouth! Some got in my mouth! Shit!" Dustin exclaimed.

"What got in your mouth?" Ryan shined his flashlight at him.

Dustin didn't answer, he coughed before replying. "I'm okay,"

The group rolled his eyes by him being dramatic and went back to finding the hub.

Once they found the hub, they began to spilled gasoline all over and began to lit it up.

The Cabin was burning hot with Evelyn, Nancy, and the Byers inside. Will was currently tied to the bed, screaming in pain.

"It's not working," Jonathan mumbled to Nancy. "It's not working," He told his mom. "Mom, are you even listening to me?"

"Just wait!" Joyce exclaimed.

"How much longer?" Jonathan asked. "Look, look at him!"

"Jonathan, wait!" She told him.

"You're killing him!" He exclaimed.

"Just wait!" She repeated.

Jonathan ignored her and was about to untie Will before Joyce stopped him.

"No, no wait!" Joyce said to him.

"You're killing him!" Jonathan repeated.

"Leave it!" Joyce told him.

"Wait, Ev, Jonathan!" Nancy exclaimed trying to get their attention. "His neck! His neck!" She repeated.

Suddenly, Will broke out of one of the restraints and was beginning to break out of the other one when Joyce tugged on his arm. He began to choke her when she stopped him.

Evelyn jumped into action, tried to break his hold but that's when the Mind Flayer pushed Joyce aside and began to choke Evelyn.

They stood by Steve's side as he held a lighter.

"You ready?" Steve asked the group.

"Yeah," Mike replied.

"Ready," Max, Lucas, and Ryan confirmed.

"Light her up." Dustin answered.

"I am in such deep shit," Steve whispered before throwing the lighter.

...

The Mind Flayer continued to choke the life out of Evelyn, it was working, her eyes were nearly rolling to the back of her head and she was losing all her air support.

Jonathan and Joyce tried to get Will's arm off of her neck but it didn't work, the mind flayer was stronger than them. Nancy grabbed a stick from the fireplace and poked Will, letting the Mind Flayer lose its grip and freed Evelyn.

Meanwhile Ryan and the group watched the hub as it burned, the fire started to spread.

"Go, go, go," Steve ordered the group, who didn't waste no time in running.

Unaware that back at the cabin, Will was shrieking in pain.

The group continued to run away from the fire and successfully made it out.

Will's screams filled the cabin as the mind flayer finally exited his body and left the cabin, Joyce, Jonathan, Nancy, and Evelyn looked in horror. Nancy followed the trailed and stood at the door and it vanished into thin air.

Jonathan turned off the heaters and him and his mom tried to get Will to get up, it worked he slowly opened his eyes.

Once Evelyn saw that Will was awake and still alive she grabbed the walkie talkie and spoke.

"Hopper, do you copy?" Evelyn asked.

"Yeah, I copy." Hopper answered.

"Close that son of a bitch." Evelyn told him.

Sofia and El looked at one another meanwhile Hopper and John shared a look, it was time to close the gate.(Not gonna write them closing the gate, cause I'm done man)

One Month Later

Ryan looked at himself in the mirror, with Dustin off to the Snowball, he had only hoped that he looked somewhat alright. After all, tonight had to be perfect.

"Alright Mom, I'll be back!" Ryan called out as he headed to the door.

"Alright sweetie, have fun on your date!" She exclaimed while petting their new cat, Tews(I don't even wanna know)

Ryan exited the door and made his way next door before he could knock, John opened the door.

"I'm assuming those flowers aren't for me?" John smiled.

"I wish but no, she isn't ready?" Ryan asked.

"Been in her room for hours or maybe even fourty five years." John rolled his eyes.

"I'm ready now," Evelyn's voice brought Ryan and John's attention to her.

Evelyn stood on the stairs awkwardly wearing jeans and a brown buttoned up sweater.

"Did I interrupt something?" She asked.

John and Ryan were quick to shut down the idea.

"Uh these are for you," Ryan smiled. "They looked nice before and I ruined them," Ryan looked at the flowers.

"I like them," Evelyn smiled.

"Me too, honestly thanks for the flowers Ryan, I always knew they were for me." John took the flowers and went to get a cup for it. "You two have fun but now too much fun."

"Dad!" Evelyn scolded.

"Kidding, kidding." John chuckled.

Evelyn and Ryan left the house and they got in his car.

"So, where are we going?" Evelyn asked as she looked out the window.

"It's a surprise," Ryan answered.

The two sat in silence, Evelyn wondered where they were going but since Ryan didn't budge, she was only left with her thoughts.

They came across a small diner and Ryan parked the car.

"Alright, we're here." Ryan smiled.

Evelyn got out of the car and saw that they were at Lorelei(Is that how you spell it?)'s Diner.

The two teens went in, Ryan opened the door for Evelyn and they sat down at a table.

"Hello, what can I get yall today?" A waitress asked, greeting them with a smile.

I just wanna say thanks to everyone who stayed around during S2 of R&J, it was tiring and long but you did it and for that, I'm proud of you and I love you.
