They all wore their masks. The mansion was full of guests. Mercutio and the others were just having the time of their life. Romeo couldn't care less. He just needed to be alone.

He had a headache.

Torracat: "Ugh.."

He left the room to be alone outside. It was dark and chill. Romeo took his mask off while leaning against the mansion walls. 

Torracat: "For Arceus' sake. This party may be ravishing but it don't half cause a disturbance to my soul."

Suddenly a door opened.

Brionne: "Simply outrageous..."

Torracat: "......."

Juliet leaned on the opposite side of the wall so she couldn't be seen.

Brionne: "How can mother think of such joy yet it doesn't bring joy to me?"

Torracat: "Tell me about it.."

Brionne: "Why art thou mad?"

Torracat: "Being tortured from my last love is all I can say to you now. For I'd never find love again. Let love burn to ashes!"

Brionne: "That's a bit harsh don't you think?"

Torracat: "No. It's more than enough to bring me sorrow than happiness. Tell me, why art thou mad with thy self?"

Brionne: "It's not so much thy self but from my own mother. She insists me on finding a husband. However the man she chose isn't enough.."

Torracat: "Well.. call it off."

Brionne: "Can't. The decision was made final."

Torracat: "...Pardon for being so nosey. But what do you expect to see in a man?"

Brionne: -smiles- "To be sweet and kind. The sort of man that would bring joy to those around them. Not wealthy, nor handsome. But what lies deep within his heart is what matters."

Torracat: -smirk- "Then I suppose we're both on the same wavelength?"

Brionne: -laughs a bit- "Sure looks like it."

Torracat: "May I see you?"

Brionne: "No way."

Torracat: "How about now?"

Brionne: "Nuh uh."

Torracat: "How about on the count of three?"

Brionne: "Suppose that'd work?"

Torracat: "Must always have that faith into believing something you cannot achieve. Glow brighter and you shall recieve sunlight. Darker and you shall have no power. Aim for the sun. Not the moon."

Brionne: -sigh- "You sound a lot like my childhood stories. Except you tell me so much more than what my mother told me..."

Torracat: "3.....2.......1...... now!"

They both appeared from behind the walls. They both stared off into eachother's eyes and Romeo smiled.

Torracat: "Never thought I'd come across a voice from an angel like you."

Brionne: "Heh... thank you..."

They both stared into eachother's eyes for a while. Juliet's nurse came outside.

Azumarill: "My lady Juliet! Your mother calls for you!"

Brionne: "I-I'll be right there!"

Azumarill: "No! She needs you now! Quickly!"

The nurse took her by the hand and dragged her inside.

Torracat: "W-Wait!"

He ran after her.

There was a crowd full of guests. Romeo was up on the stairs.

Torracat: "......."

Azumarill: "I have her here, madam."

Primarina: "Good. Now go dear child! Count Paris asks you for a dance!"

Brionne: "...Count Paris?"

Primarina: -excitedly- "Now go. Have fun with your prince charming!"

Juliet walked forth over to Paris and they both danced together.

Azumarill: "They look so cute together..."

Primarina: "Paris is such a dear!"

Romeo was watching from the stairs.

Torracat: "Did my heart love til now? Her name's Juliet? Maybe this is what she meant."

Tybalt and his kinsmen were enjoying the party. Tybalt spotted Romeo from the dance floor.

Wartortle: "It'd be the house of capulet! Which dares to vile our Montague afair! He shall be gone within the course of the hour! I strike him dead! I hold it not a sin!"

His kinsmen followed as Tybalt walked towards the stairs but was stopped by Lord Montague.

Wartortle: "Out of my way!"

Samurott: "What's gotten into you?"

Wartortle: "Look up there!"

Lord Capulet looked up and saw Romeo.

Wartortle: "It'd be Romeo! The son of Capulet!"

Samurott: "Oh, so it is."

Wartortle: "Now out of my way!"

Samurott: "Oh come on. Leave him alone. Didn't we have this conversation earlier with the prince? Besides, there's only one of him. I'm not worried."

Wartortle: "......."

Samurott: "Now come. I would like for you to enjoy the party with me."

Wartortle: "BUT-

Samurott: "Now you listen here! I don't want to hear it! Either you enjoy the party, or you're gone for the evening!"

Wartortle: "ARE YOU BLIND?! A CAPULET IS UP THERE!"

Samurott: "I DON'T WANT A RIOT AGAIN! NOT AFTER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME! NOW BEGONE!"

Wartortle: "BUT GOOD SIR!"

Samurott: "LEAVE!"

Tybalt left with his kinsmen.

As soon as the dance ended, they all clapped.

As Juliet was watching the performance, Romeo tried grabbing her hand.

Torracat: "Psssst!"

Juliet turned around.

Brionne: "Oh, it's you from earlier!"

Torracat: "Juliet."

Brionne: "How art thou possible is it that you know my name?"

Torracat: "Your nurse."

Brionne: "Oh! Yeah... now I remember!"

Torracat: "So... that's the fella..."

Brionne: "Yeah... that's him..."

"OH JULIEEETT!"

Brionne: "Quick!! Come with me!"

Juliet dragged him outside.

Primarina: "Oh julieeeet!"

Azumarill: "I shall go find her."

Primarina: "Yes, please do."

Torracat: "Tell me fair maiden, why did you bring me out here?"

Brionne: "Because my mother called me. I didn't want her finding out about you so I took you out here."

Torracat: "Well she's not going to look for us out here."

Brionne: "No, she won't."

Torracat: "Precisely."

Brionne: "Now what?"

Torracat: "We chill."

Brionne: "A man I dream of was to show more love and affection towards a woman. You've shown me kindness, yes."

....

Brionne: "But love.."

He kissed her.

Brionne: "......."

Torracat: -smirk-

Brionne: -smiles- "Okay, I'll give you that. Listen, the nurse is bound to find us out here so if you want to get caught? Then-

Torracat: "You leaving so soon?"

Brionne: "Well... I uh.... yeah..."

Torracat: "Would you leave a guy hanging?"

Brionne: "Yeah."

Torracat: "Would you?"

Brionne: "...Well........"

.....

Brionne: "No... I guess not?"

Torracat: -smirk-

Brionne: "I would be happy to live a happy life with you.."

Torracat: "Really?"

Brionne: "Mhm..."

They both leaned in when Juliet lowered her head.

Brionne: "Only I can't..."

Romeo opened his eyes.

Torracat: "Why not?"

Brionne: "My mother already arranged for me to be married to another man... so I can't.."

Torracat: "That shouldn't stop you?"

Brionne: "Let me finish..."

Torracat: "......."

Brionne: "I'm.... I'm also from the house of Montague..."

His eyes widened.

Torracat: "...No way...."

Brionne: "Yeah... so... my mother probably wouldn't approve of this..."

Torracat: "......."

Brionne: "Good sir?"

The door opened. It was her nurse!

Azumarill: "...Madam? A little word with you please?"

Juliet looked at Romeo with a smile and went inside.

He ran after her. When he saw Juliet with Lady Montague his smile slowly faded away.

Torracat: "So it wasn't a lie..."

Azumarill: "Juliet. His name's Romeo. He's from the house of Capulet! Don't mess with him!"

Brionne: "House of... Capulet?"

Romeo's friends came dragged him away.

Brionne: "How shall it be that the man I love is a foe to my family? Cruelty!"

Infernape: "QUICK! TO THE CAR!"

Blaziken: "Right behind you!"

Charizard: "QUICK YOUNG ROMEO!"

Torracat: "What's going on?"

Dartrix: "They found out my friend! I'm sorry! We have to go!"

They all went to the car. Romeo looked behind him.

Juliet watched them leave.

Brionne: "How shall this be? But lovely music in his name. Romeo."

Torracat: "Juliet.."
