At the tender age of sixteen, Sang Sorenson discovered that she was to become a mother. And the father of her unborn child(ren) was none other than North Taylor. But when confronted with the news that he was a soon-to-be father, all hell breaks loose. 

The Blackbourne team doesn't take the news of Sang's pregnancy well. In fact, all nine men turn their back on her, leaving her heart broken. Determined to raise the child(ren) on her own, and without any help/interference, from the men or the Academy, she leaves Charleston for good-settling down in Montana. 

For fourteen years, Sang does her best to make sure that her children, Andromeda and Aries have the skill sets required to live in a world that the Academy would bring them into. Not soon after their birthday, Sang passes away... her heart simply just stopped beating. But Andromeda, Rome, knows the truth. Her mother died of a broken heart and in her mind, there were only nine people responsible for that- Owen, Sean, Victor, Kota, North, Luke, Silas, Nathan, and Gabriel. 

They are taken in by the Toma team, with a promise that no one from the Blackbourne team finding out who they truly are. Follow Rome on her journey.
