Party

Requested by ROMANOFFWARRIOR, something at age of Ultron party

Natasha didn't mind parties. Lately, she had begun enjoying them even more because now they offered her the perfect time and place to endlessly flirt with Steve.

The longer she did it the more she couldn't resist.

All she had to do was smile at him and his cheeks would flush red.

And although at first she had just been teasing him, she now found herself wanting to be around him all the time.

Some time along their journey together, she had fallen in love, and now all she wanted was for him to feel the same.

But she didn't think that was likely, so she settled for being able to make him blush when given the chance.

When she arrived at Tony's latest party, she stationed herself behind the bar and waited for Steve to arrive.

"What's a nice girl like you doing at a dump like this?" She heard someone ask as she was turned around to make herself a drink.

Natasha turned to Steve and smirked, "Fella done me wrong."

He offered her a small grin, "You just have a pretty lousy taste in men."

Natasha shrugged, "Eh, he's not so bad. Just completely oblivious. Sometimes I just wish he would open his eyes to what's right in front of him...but truth be told he's not like anyone I've ever met."

Steve's eyes softened, "Sounds like an idiot."

"Maybe sometimes. But he's the only guy I've ever met who doesn't fight for himself. He fights because it's the right thing to do."

Steve smirked softly, "Sounds amazing."

Natasha rolled her eyes, "He's also a huge dork...chicks dig that."

Steve smiled again and Natasha leaned forward, "So what do you think...should I run with this or fight it?"

Steve stuttered, "Run with it...right? Or, well, did he do something wrong?"

Natasha smirked softly and shook her head, "Not a damn thing...but never say never."

"Then I say you run with it." Steve said, his breathing unsteady.

This was more then their normal flirting. It had progressed into something more.

Something that made Steve jittery with anticipation and Natasha's blood sear with desire.

"Well in that case..." Natasha said, coming around the bar.

Steve breathed heavily as her lips brushed the shell of his ear, "What do you say we get out of here?"

Steve nodded, taking her outstretched hand and following her closely as she pulled his through the party.

"Where are we going?" Steve asked, laughing slightly.

Natasha shrugged, "Anywhere...any suggestions?"

Steve paused and then nodded, "Actually I do have one."

Natasha grinned and followed Steve as he led to the elevator, pressing the button to the elevator.

"The roof?" Natasha asked, laughing slightly.

Steve blushed a little, "Would you rather somewhere else?"

Natasha shook her head, "No...you just never fail to surprise me Rogers."

Steve smiled and pulled her with him as they exited the elevator.

They walked to the edge of the building and Natasha smiled, looking at the view of the city, "This is a nice view."

Steve nodded, looking down at her, "I think I've got a better one."

Natasha laughed and turned to Steve, her smile softening, "Steve I know I flirt a lot...but that's not what this is. I really...I really do care about you Steve."

Steve brushed a piece of hair from Natasha's face and nodded, "I care about you too Natasha. And if you'll let me...I want to run with this."

Natasha smiled, her hand reaching up to cup Steve's jaw, "Then let's run with it."

Steve's heart skipped a beat and he smiled as his head moved to rest on Natasha's, their lips so close that he could feel her breath against his skin, taunting him.

Slowly, she leaned towards his, finally connecting their lips in a long overdo kiss.

The cold nipped at Natasha's bare back but she couldn't care less.

Steve's mind was blurry, completely overtaken by what Natasha made him feel.

The longer they kissed, the more passionate it became.

The party had been long forgotten as they kissed.

When they finally pulled away, Natasha's face was flushed and Steve was nearly completely out of breath.

"Wow..." Steve whispered, drawing a small laugh from Natasha.

"Have you been practicing Rogers?" She teased.

Steve shook his head, laughing, "Natasha?"

"Hm?"

Steve sighed, "I know this is early to say this but I need you to know...I love you."

Natasha pulled back, surprised at Steve's confession, "What?"

"I- Nat- you don't have to feel the same, I just needed you to know." Steve stuttered, scratching his neck nervously.

Natasha cut him off with a short kiss, "Stop talking....I love you too."

Steve's eyes brightened, "You do?"

Natasha shook her head with a small laugh, "You really think I'd say it if I didn't mean it?"

Steve blushed, "No."

Natasha laughed and kissed him again, savoring the moment before sighing as she realized they probably needed to return to the party.

"People are going to start noticing we ditched the party." She whispered, her lips still a millimeter away from his.

Steve sighed, "Does that mean we have to go back?"

Natasha nodded, casting him a small smirk, "For now... Just until people start to leave. Then, we can find somewhere else to go."

Steve nodded and they went back down the party.

Tony had of course, been the one to notice their disappearance but luckily, he was drunk, so anything he said was taken as gibberish.

They spent the rest of the evening with the team, both secretly just waiting to get alone with the other, wanting to finish what they started.

Then that damn robot had to crash the party.

Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed this. If you did, please like and comment!
