Natasha had met Peter Parker during the civil war.

He had been really excited to meet her. And also a little bit frightened.

"Woah...are you the black widow??" He had asked looking at her with wide eyes.

Natasha had looked sceptically at Tony. "Yeah...are you an adult?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

Peter looked to Tony for an answer. "Well I'm close to being an adult." He answered.

Natasha shook her head. "Tony you can't bring a kid to fight Steve. He could get hurt and there is a shit ton of paperwork for that."

Tony rolled his eyes. "He's not gonna get hurt."

Peter chimed in. "I won't get hurt."

Natasha sighed and rolled her eyes. "Tony if the kid gets hurt he's your responsibility." She turned back to Peter. "What did you say your name was?"

"Peter Parker.... I'm spider man."

"Well Peter, I hope you are ready to go because this isn't going to be easy."

Peter stood up straighter and looked at Tony for further instructions.

"She's right kid."

Natasha turned her head over her shoulder as she walked away and called back to Tony. "When am I not?"

Tony sigh and Peter looked at him with wide eyes. "Mr. Stark, is she always a little....scary?"

Tony nodded. "Normally she's worse."

After the civil war, Tony and Steve had decided to reconcile. Steve came back to the avengers facility to live and they started training Peter Parker to be an avenger.

Peter was more then excited to be training with three of the greatest superheros around. Captain America, Black Widow, and Iron Man.

Unfortunately because he was still a kid he only trained in the afternoons and on weekends.

"Hey Miss Romanoff. Guess what."

Natasha sighed. "How many times have I told you to just call me Natasha? And what?"

"I just realized something really awesome."

"What's that?" Natasha asked, leaning against the wall.

"We are both spider people! You're the black widow and I'm spider man."

Natasha couldn't help but laugh as she stood back up and walked towards the training room with Peter. "You just realized this?"

Peter nodded. "Yes."

Natasha shook her head, "I guess we know which spider person is smarter then."

Peter nodded. "Obviously it's you. You're definitely the superior spider. I'm just like...the apprentice spider. You know?"

Natasha shrugged. "Sure."

Peter turned to Natasha and frowned. "Speaking of me not knowing anything, I have a question."

Natasha sighed, "You sure you don't want to ask Tony or Steve or someone?"

Peter blushed slightly. "Well, it's about a girl and I don't excactly think they'll have reliable advice..."

"Alright then, what's your question."

"See, there's this girl, MJ. Who I really like but I don't know how to tell her. She's kind of intimidating and isn't like most girls."

Natasha nodded, "You wanna know how to ask her out?"

"I don't know, I want to ask her but I don't even think she likes me."

Natasha glanced over at Steve who was running on the treadmill, her gaze not going unnoticed by Peter. "You know Peter, I think you should just tell her the truth and ask her on a date."

"You think? She acts like she hates me though, and other times it's like she's just waiting for me to tell her I like her. You think she'll say yes?"

Natasha nodded. "I don't know her, but I do know that sometimes it's easier to pretend like feelings don't exist rather then show any vunerabilitey. I think you should just go for it."

Peter nodded. "Ok... I think I will. And by the way Miss Romanoff, I mean Natasha... I think you should ask Cap out too."

Natasha tilted her head. "Why would I do that?"

Peter shrugged. "It seems kind of obvious that you two like each other. Plus, Mr. Stark and I have a bet about how long it will take and if you ask him out after tomorrow I have to pay him fifty bucks."

Natasha rolled her eyes. "Fine, but only because I don't want Tony winning anything. Speaking of Tony, you should be training. Go find him and get started. I'm going to talk to Steve."

Peter grinned. "Alright, good luck!" He said, giving two awkward thumbs up as Natasha rolled her eyes.

She walked up to Steve's treadmill and leaned against the wall besides it as he continued running. He looked over at her and smiled.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

Natasha shrugged. "I came over here to ask you something but until you're done with your run I don't mind watching."

Steve grinned and stopped the treadmill. "I'm done. What's up?"

"You busy tonight?" She said casually.

Steve shook his head, slightly confused.

Natasha smiled. "Good. Want to go out to dinner?"

"Sure. Is anyone else coming?"

Natasha shook her head. "Nope, just the two of us."

Steve furrowed his eyebrows. "Like a date?"

Natasha placed her hand on Steve's bicep and ran her hand up and down his arm slowly. "Yeah, that ok with you Captain?"

He smiled. "Sounds amazing. What time should I be ready?"

"Six? Wear something casual. I'm thinking a pizza joint and a movie?"

Steve nodded. "Whatever you want."

Natasha smiled. "Great. See you then." Natasha stood up on her toes and placed a quick kiss on Steve's cheek before walking out of the room.

Peter and Tony were both standing outside of the room waiting when she exited.

"Did he say yes?" Peter asked.

Natasha glared at them. "Yes, and why aren't you training?"

Peter fist pumped and laughed. "Pay up Mr. Stark! I won!"

Tony reluctantly gave him fifty dollars and rolled his eyes at Natasha. "Seriously. You guys have waited like ten years and you couldn't wait one more day?"

Natasha sighed and walked away. "I'm not having this conversation. You two better start training or I'm going to cancel my date and take the fifty dollars for myself."

They both ran into the training room and Natasha smirked. "I really am the spider master." She said to herself laughing.
