Entertainment
Tony forgets to hire an entertainer for his Christmas party so he began Natasha to sing. Which she only agrees to after Steve convinces her. Also, Scarlett is actually an amazing singer so the video above is just her singing a Christmas song with Dean Martin.
"No." Natasha said, shaking her head and walking away from Tony and Clint.
"Please Natasha! You can't have a Christmas party without an entertainer!" Tony begged, chasing after her.
Natasha rolled her eyes, "Remind me how that's my problem?"
"I'll pay you," Tony offered.
Clint jumped in front of Natasha, preventing her from walking anywhere, "Come on Natasha, you're the only one of the team who can sing. Think of all the children."
Natasha frowned, "There's not gonna be children."
"Well think of them anyways. Someone has to do it," Clint said.
"I'm not singing at your party Stark. And Clint if you don't move out of my way I swear to God I'll castrate you." She threatened, giving him a glare that made him move out her way instantly.
"Please, please, please with a cherry on top." Tony begged.
"No."
"Please."
Natasha turned her head back towards Tony and glared at him. Tony stepped back and sighed, "Alright fine. I guess we'll just have to bring in the big guns."
Natasha's brows furrowed, "What?"
Tony grinned, "Clint! Go fetch Capsicle!"
Clint smirked and ran down the hallway and towards Steve's room.
"What the hell does Steve have to do with me dining at your party?" Natasha asked, rolling her eyes again.
"He's the only one who can convince you to do something."
Natasha frowned, "He is not."
Tony nodded, "Uh, yeah he is. You two are so in love with each other that you'd probably kill Clint if he asked you too."
"I'd kill Clint without being asked to. And I do not love Steve. We're just friends."
Tony scoffed, "Yeah, 'just friends'" He said, using air quotations along with a strong eye roll.
Natasha sighed but decided to just ignore Tony. As she did so, she saw Clint and Steve walking down the hallway and she leaned against the wall.
"Anyone wanna explain why I had to come here?" Steve asked, wiping his forehead with a towel and resting his hands on his hips.
Natasha's eyes ran up and down his body and she couldn't help but smirk to herself as she noticed that he looked like he just finished a workout.
"Natalie here won't help me." Tony said, frowning.
"Help you with what?" Steve asked, looking between Tony and Natasha with a confused look.
"My singer cancelled on me and she won't replace them." Tony complained.
Steve's brows furrowed and he looked at Natasha, "You can sing?"
Natasha shrugged, "Kind of."
Clint rolled his eyes, "She's a great singer, but that's besides the point. The point is we need her to be the paid entertainment tonight."
Steve frowned, "What does that have to do with me?"
Natasha snickered a little bit and Tony glared at her, "We need you to convince her to do it. She doesn't listen to us."
Steve raised his eyebrows and looked over to Natasha, "What?"
Clint pat Steve on the back and walked away with Tony, "We'll give you a minute to work your magic. Don't let us down Cap!"
The two walked away, leaving Natasha and Steve alone in the hallway.
"I didn't know you could sing." Steve said, giving her a small smile.
Natasha shrugged, "Most people don't."
"That why you don't want to do it?" Steve asked.
Sighing Natasha pushed herself off the wall and began walking down the hall again, Steve following at her side, "It wouldn't do anything for my reputation, that's for sure. The badass assassin who also sings Christmas carols? It just doesn't mix."
Steve shrugged, "I think you're badass no matter what you do." He said honestly, blushing a bit.
"Yeah?" Natasha asked, turning her head to smirk at him.
Steve nodded, "There any chance you'll do it?"
Natasha bit her lip, "You gonna get up there and sing with me if I do?"
Steve laughed a little, "I can't sing...but, if you do it I might be able to help in another way."
Natasha raised her eyebrows, *What's that?"
"I know how to play the piano, I could play while you sing." Steve offered.
Natasha bit her lip, pondering the offer. It was definitely tempting to see Steve play piano, even if it did mean she had to sing.
Steve gave her a weak smile as an attempt to persuade her and her willpower completely snapped, "Fine. But only for an hour. And Tony better be paying me for it."
Steve grinned, "Really?"
Natasha sighed but nodded, "Yeah I guess so. Now go tell them before I change my mind."
Steve nodded and walked off quickly in the direction of Tony and Clint.
Natasha shook her head and internally cursed herself. Tony was right, Steve really could get her to do anything.
---------
Right before the party was supposed to begin, Natasha was still getting ready.
She had on a short black dress with black heels, pinning her hair back in a messy updo. (Below but with red hair)
She was putting on her heels when she heard a knock at her door.
Natasha went to open the door and smiled when she saw Steve wearing a red button up with a black suit jacket.
"Hey, you look amazing," He said, blushing a bit.
Natasha smiled, "Thanks, you clean up nicely."
Steve smiled a bit, "Thanks. You ready to go?"
Natasha nodded and linked her arm in his.
They walked down to the party together and Natasha began for regret agreeing to be the entertainment.
It wasn't that she had stage fright, she knew that she was a decent enough singer, but she hated people knowing she could sing.
It was like they had an entirely new perspective of her after learning she could sing.
It pissed her off to no end, but it was too late now, Tony was giving a speech and shortly after, she was sure it would be her turn to go on stage.
"You look nervous," Steve pointed out.
Natasha shook her head, "I'm not nervous... I'm just dreading it."
Steve laughed, "If you say so."
Natasha slapped Steve's arm and frowned playfully at him, "I'm not nervous."
Steve clutched his arm where she had hit him and laughed, "Okay, okay. Sorry."
They talked for a while longer before Tony motioned for Natasha to go up there.
Steve followed her and sat down at the piano right besides the microphone.
Tony motioned to her with a drunken smile and laughed, "Now, ladies and gents, please welcome the black widow herself, Natasha Romanoff! She's gonna sing us a few songs."
Natasha sighed and rolled her eyes, glancing over at Steve who gave her a reassuring smile.
He began playing the intro to "Last Christmas" by Wham and she took a deep breath before begining to sing.
Most of the room was focused on her but she couldn't help but continue to glance at Steve as he concentrated on the notes he was playing.
She gave him a small smile and he blushed, looking back down at the piano.
The song ended and Natasha felt a little more at ease. Steve began playing the tune to "I'll be home for Christmas" and she sang that one as well.
By now, people had begun dancing and we're paying less attention to her so she removed the mic from the stand and sat down besides Steve on the piano bench.
He smiled at her and continued to play as she sang softly.
The hour went by fairly quickly considering she got to sit by Steve the whole time and she actually ended up not resenting the decision.
She did however, want to go straight to her room after singing, and lucky for her Steve was more then willing to walk up with her.
"You were amazing," Steve said once they were headed back upstairs.
Natasha smiled, "Thank you. Your piano skills are pretty impressive too."
Steve smiled, "I think we made a pretty good team up there."
Natasha nodded and laughed a bit, "Yeah I think we did."
"You know before tonight I didn't think there was anything you could do that would make me more impressed by you then I already was, I was clearly very wrong," Steve admitted with a small laugh.
Natasha breathed out another laugh, "There's still a lot you don't know about me Steve."
Steve shrugged and grinned at her, "I know that you're incredible. I don't think there's anything you can't do."
"When did you become such a flirt?" Natasha teased.
Steve laughed, "I'm serious, you amaze me Natasha."
Natasha fought down a blush and fought herself from losing all control and pouncing on Steve.
Instead Natasha curled her fingers around Steve's hand and gave it a light squeeze, "You trying to make me blush Rogers?"
"I don't know...is it working?"
Natasha shook her head, "Course not. I don't blush."
Steve smiled and moved closer to her, feeling a surge of confidence, "That sounds like a challenge."
Natasha grinned, "Alright maybe it is. I bet you ten dollars you can't get me to blush."
Steve smiled, "You're on."
Natasha stood still for a moment, expecting a cheesy pickup line but instead she felt Steve's lips come crashing onto hers, pinning her against the wall with an urgency she reciprocated quickly.
Steve gently nipped at Natasha's lip and placed kisses up and down her jaw and neck, causing Natasha to let out a series of moans.
Natasha was completely flushed red by now but Steve didn't care. They stumbled backwards into Steve's apartment and quickly made work of each other's clothes.
That night they definitely made a good team.
